it feels like I just made this post, but poverty never stops being a hellish experience that continues to weigh on our shoulders, ahaha.

my family needs grocery money. like, really badly.

everyone in my household is malnourished and it's starting to massive toll on both our physical and emotional health. we're exhausted and foggy-headed constantly because we've been surviving off of pb&j sandwiches, rice, and potatoes. food prices have been skyrocketing in our town and according to several different budget planners i've run our household finances through, i should supposedly be spending more than we pay monthly in rent on our shithole apartment on our monthly groceries in order to comfortably feed four adults. i'm EXTREMELY lucky if i ever manage even half of that.

our qpr/housemate has been in the hospital for the last couple of days and is finally being discharged today. after having nothing but a clear liquid diet and then a few plates of soggy hospital cafeteria food, i would really love to feed them an actual meal tonight, but there's basically nothing in the cabinets/fridge and we have a total of $20 to our names that absolutely must be saved to put in our gas tank, so we can all get around for work.

i'm....exhausted. i'm too tired and hungry to feel much else right now.

My insurance kicked me off so I've also been struggling to afford my medications. I'm only short $100. So, the state raises electricity prices in summer "to encourage less energy usage" (even though ac is required here for people to not die of heatstroke)

Okay, so, I’ve asked a lot from you guys in the past few months and I seriously cannot thank you guys for your support. I haven’t said that enough.

Seriously, it means SO much that you guys were generous enough to help me during this hard time in my life. Losing my grandma was seriously hard, but I know she loved me and she loved that I was always pushing towards my passion for art. She used to keep my old art hanging on her wall to look back too, even if I didn’t like my old art, she still kept it, and that meant a lot to me.

I know she wouldn’t have wanted me to give up trying. It gets really hard sometimes, but I’m still here and I’m glad I am.

I hope it’s not too much to ask, you’ve all helped me so much already, but I am still in the process of getting my background check cleared with my new job and won’t get scheduled for another week or so, and I need money for bills again. Not as much this time thankfully.

emergency vet bills !!!

Our kitten Shrimp had an emergency and almost went into cardiac arrest yesterday. He's slowly recovering and is spending two nights at the vet's, as they believe it may be pneumonia, but he's so little that they can't run the usual tests.

4 Disabled Queers Need Groceries

it's been a hot minute since i had to make one of these posts, so i'm really hoping that means it's just That Time Of Year when everyone is struggling and that things will even back out soon.

my household is a week out from payday and there's nothing in our cabinets/fridge except a loaf of bread, a 1/4 of a gallon of milk, a small bag of rice, and some cheese slices. when that paycheck drops, almost every cent of it is going to need to go towards our rent (which is about to be increased by another $80) and our phone bill (and all four of us are absolutely REQUIRED to have our phones for work). i've been scraping the back of the cabinets to throw together poverty meals for the last four days and i'm out of options.

i've also been off my HRT for almost a month because my local clinic fucked me over again. i have a telehealth appointment scheduled with planned parenthood on the 29th, where i'm hoping i'll finally be able to have my RX filled consistently, but right now I'm not sure how i'm going to pay for that appointment.

i know we're going into december and everyone is stressed out and broke around the holidays, but it would mean the world to me if folks could help us out a little. my links are listed below. if you don't have anything to spare, i completely understand, but i would massively appreciate it if you would reblog this post to get it in front of more eyes.

Hey yall, I still need help. Capitalism is a bitch.

Without a car, getting to and from work is more complicated. Public transportation here is... lacking. And sometimes nonexistent like on Sunday nights.

With my schedule and being a manager, I sometimes miss the bus since I can't just bounce before closing tasks are done, in order to make it on time.

Im down to just 10$ total until the 27th, and I still need 70$ for my phone bill thats due the 22nd, and I need to eat and buy coffee.
