It's that time again!

From Wednesday April 24th - Tuesday April 30th we invite you to create anything you want for any sapphic ships across all three shows in the TVDU.

We will reblog gifsets, art, graphics, fic, headcanons, edits, moodboards and anything else you create. Each day will have a prompt to follow, and you can interpret it however you like. You can create as much or as little as you want, pick one pairing for the week or do several! Any sapphic pairing you can think of, we want it!

The Prompts: Day One (April 24): Knight in Shining Armor - Princess x Knight, coming to their rescue, competing to be the hero, take your pick! Are our girls really heroes or are they putting on a mask to seem like the perfect knight in shining armor? Show us how much they save each other! Day Two (April 25): Anchor - The thing that keeps you stable, steady, or here in this world. Do our witches go to their love to keep them anchored and find out more about their feelings? Do they already know and go to that one person they can depend on? Give us the pining angst and the established support and reassurance. Day Three (April 26): Mythology - Hades & Persephone retellings or making your own mythology around our girls! Write them as your favorite mythological story or create something around the mythology they already have themselves. Day Four (April 27): Fake Dating - You know it, you (may) love it! They must pretend to date for some reason or another and they're totally not going to fall in love for real! Right? Day Five (April 28): Thriller/Horror - Similar to the mythology prompt, put these girls in your favorite horror movie or make your own! This ones for all those Scream AU's or general thriller AU creations you've got in your brain. Day Six (April 29): Jealousy - the good, the bad, the ugly. Is this jealousy something our girls need to talk about? Is it fun or hot? Take this in whatever direction your heart desires! Day Seven (April 30): Free Choice

Do you like Rebekah and Hayley's friendship?

I like Rebekah and Hayley's friendship but I do think the fandom overhypes it sometimes because of Phoebe and Claire's friendship.

I think the writers intended for Hayley and Rebekah to be super close, like sisters but when Claire decided to leave the show it fell flat. I have no evidence but I've always believed that they came up with the idea of Freya's storyline simply because Claire Holt decided she couldn't continue as a regular on the show. They needed a sister to even out all the men. So I think the closeness we see from Freya and Hayley in the later seasons was originally meant for Rebekah and Hayley. But with how the show played out, Freya and Hayley or Hayley and Cami end up having closer friendships than Rebekah and Hayley do.

I wish Claire would have stayed, but I also kind of like that she got to be free of everything for a lot of the show. However, because of this, Rebekah and Hayley are more of long distance friends rather than sisters.

We don't even get to see Rebekah's reaction to finding out Hayley's dead. They have minimal reactions after the first half of season 1 and as far as we know don't keep in contact nearly at all while Rebekah is gone. For instance, when Rebekah comes back in season 3, she isn't even aware that Hayley was no longer living in the compound. She was daggered months after Hayley moved out and we saw in the beginning of season 3 that she was keeping in touch with Freya, but not Hayley when Hayley's curse is broken.

The writers constantly did a terrible job developing off screen friendships. And even the ones we get, they always put on the backburner for the romantic relationships. The writers need to learn the importance of platonic relationships.

I love both the characters and I do enjoy their friendship, but I wish it would have been more. They probably don't even rank in my top five friendships on the show simply because we see so little of them actually being friends.
