17 Hundred 90 House Savannah Georgia - Travel Photography
Savannah, Georgia is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the United States. With its charming cobblestone streets and towering oak trees, it’s no wonder that it’s considered one of the most haunted cities in America. One of the most well-known haunted places in Savannah is 17 Hundred 90 House, a historic inn that dates back to the late 18th century. The 17 Hundred 90 House was built…

Back in April, I stayed at the Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana--specifically in the William Winter room. I'd wanted to stay there since I was little and saw it on some haunted travel show.
The Myrtles was an antebellum plantation built in 1796. It is purported to be one of the most haunted places in North America, with Chloe being the most famous of its ghosts.

Didn't come across anything paranormal (if I keep throwing myself at haunted locations, then one day it'll happen!), but the atmosphere had that heavy stillness to it. The grounds were beautiful and the Spanish moss gave off a creepy vibe.

Jazz was, at her core, a pessimist.
Oh sure, she wanted the best outcomes and strived to always see the best in people. But listening to her parents talk about and share crime scene photos of someone who was brutally murdered and who may haunt the place they were headed to while true crime podcasts played instead of road trip tunes as they traveled to whatever graveyard had caught their interest had dulled young Jazz's faith in humanity.
Jazz still had memories of a young her standing in an abandoned insane asylum (or abandoned hospital, or old house, or graveyard, or whatever place they dragged her too) holding a small torch with shaky hands and begging to leave because she was terrified "Can we go? Please? this place is scaring me" only to be told "In a minute Jazzy, we down want the ghost getting away."
They had settled down after Danny was born, choosing to stay in one placed instead of traveling all over the country. She still expected them to unexpectedly announce that they were going on the road again, she had plans in case they did (saying she'd stay behind with the van to take care of Danny was better then both of them getting used as ghost bait) But surprisingly they didn't.
And Jazz was thrilled. Sure, she and Danny were known as the kids of the towns crazy ghosthunters, and sure, she basically had to raise her brother since her parents would rarely leave their lab let alone focus on something not ghost related, and yes, she did have to carefully plan out how to use the family's money so that none of them starved.
But no more sleeping in cheap hotels or their van, no more making friends at playgrounds that she'd never see the next day, no more countless hours spent in places where people died, no more English lessons while on the road. She went to school now, she had friends that she saw more than once, she had a home that wasn't filled with cockroaches and the sounds of a argument from the room next door. She had a semi-normal life.
In this time of normality, she relaxed, she let her guard down. Then Danny died and only came back halfway.
And Jazz was back to being that little girl who was scared of ghosts, only this time she was scared for a ghost.
Danny didn't tell her at first, and even though it hurt she understood, and so while she waited for him to tell her, she planned.
She took job after job, from mowing someone's lawn to working at a checkout. Money had been put aside in bags filled with clothes and a pair of new id that she had gotten from Tucker, ("Just in case our parents get classified as supervillains and we need to flee" She said not giving anyway that she knew of Danny's ghostly problem, Tucker had made the id anyway even if he thought she was joking and did not in fact have a plan should that situation happen) One of their neighbors was willing to let her buy their old car despite her family's driving history. A safe house (more like safe apartment) was bought in the only place that was willing to let a teen buy property, Gotham City.
Danny fought numerous enemies until the only enemy that was left was telling their ghost hunter parents that their son was half dead.
Compared to her, Danny was an optimist, seeing the best in everyone without even having to try like she did. Believing that the best would happen like if he didn't, he would break into a million pieces and not know how to put himself together again.
Even though he was scared Danny believed that their parents wouldn't react badly, Jazz hoped they wouldn't but was prepared if they did.
And finally, after many nights spent wide awake in case her parents tried to rip Danny apart molecule by molecule while she slept, the shoe dropped. Their parents loved them, but their work came first, it always came first. Jazz loved her parents, she truly did, but she loved Danny more. And in the end, that made her choice of driving all the way to Gotham with nothing but their go bags all the more easier.
And that was how Jazz and Danny ended up as the neighbors of one Jason Todd.

THE WORLD'S MOST HAUNTED PLACES: WILL YOU DARE TO VISIT THEM ALL?
Tumblr media
We’ve all been there—you’re wandering the streets at night, or sitting in your car late at night, and you hear it... that strange noise that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up on end. You look around and realize you’re all alone, with just the dim lights of the street lamps to illuminate your surroundings. Suddenly, the spooky stories you heard as a child come rushing back into your mind... with Halloween coming up, we thought we'd give you a slight chill with a peek into some of the most haunted places in the world.
Aokigahara Forest If you are feeling adventurous, it is worth checking out Japan's Aokigahara Forest. This forest near Mount Fuji is said to be one of the most haunted places in the world, so if you're a wimp, this might not be the best place for you. In 1948, this forest was designated as a forbidden zone where those without legal clearance or wishing not to be found would go. It became popular in recent years due to a documentary that highlighted its eerie and desolate scenery.
The Winchester Mystery House Built in 1884 by Sarah Winchester, the widow of William Winchester, the owner of the Winchester Rifle Company, Mrs. Winchester believed that she was being haunted by her victims who had been killed by her husband's rifle. A medium told Mrs. Winchester that if she continuously built rooms on her house, then the spirits would not be able to find their way inside. The Winchester Mystery House has 160 rooms including 40 bedrooms, 40 staircases, 13 bathrooms, 6 kitchens, 10,000 window panes, 2,000 doors, 52 skylights, 47 fireplaces, three elevators, two basements and just one shower.
Chateau du Malinbois In the late 1800s, a castle called Chateau du Malinbois was built in France. Some say that it was built on top of an ancient prison, and as a result, the site is said to be haunted. Others say that during WWII, Nazis occupied the castle and tortured prisoners there. Either way, it's one of Europe's most haunted places, with more than 200 ghosts roaming its halls.
Island of Dolls Along the southeastern coast of Mexico, there is an island called Isla de las Munecas. This island is said to be home to hundreds of dolls that were created by a man named Julian Santana Barrera. The legend behind the island says that Julian once loved a woman but she never returned his love. One day, he found out that she was dying and decided to make her a gift one last time.  He carved her face into a doll and began to give them away as gifts. He soon realized that this act would not bring back his love, so he started putting all of these dolls on the island for others to enjoy instead. His hope was for people who came across these dolls to think about their own lost loves and find peace again like he did with hers.
Hanging Coffins at Yungang Grottoes The Hanging Coffins at Yungang Grottoes in China, a place with more than 2,000 wooden coffins dangling from the cliffs of a mountain. The coffins were hung up as a burial ground when there was no room left on the ground below.  While some people say that it is impossible to see anything or anyone in these pictures, others insist they've seen children wearing traditional Han Chinese clothing looking out from inside the coffins. Whatever you believe, it's worth checking out for yourself!
Paris Catacombs The underground catacombs are located about 50 meters (164 feet) below street level and stretch for more than 4 kilometers (2.5 miles).  Hundreds of thousands of skulls and bones belonging to some six million Parisians, who died between the 18th century and the early 20th century, line the walls. It’s said that if you go down into these tunnels alone at night, you will hear human-like voices coming from the walls.
Leap Castle (Ireland) Leap Castle is one of the most famous haunted places in Ireland. Located on a hilltop in County Offaly, it has long been the subject of stories about ghosts and spirits, tales that have intensified with the castle's recent restoration. Built by the O'Bannon family in the 15th century, Leap Castle is said to be home to a White Lady who wanders its halls during stormy nights.
La Casa Loma (Canada) One of the most haunted places in the world is La Casa Loma, which is located in Toronto, Canada. La Casa Loma was built in 1911 and served as a residence for Sir Henry Pellatt, an industrialist and a millionaire. In 1919, Pellatt was arrested for fraud and the house became abandoned. During its days as a residential home, there were many reports of paranormal activities such as sightings of ghostly figures roaming the halls.

DC X DP: King Danny shows up to help and then freaking Constantine tries to use his soul to pay for a favor and Danny just straight up looks at him and says: “Dude… your soul is like pocket change now, you broke the ghost economy and I fixed it by devaluating your soul, this sliver of soul is not worth more than a pack of gum and a clip”
Danny already has five slivers alone. Pretty much everyone he knows in the Zone has at least one, or has had one. Ellie has a lion's share of them after playing poker in a ghost casino she found in Vegas.
His human friends all have one, for Ancients' sake!
