So upset about the fact that there are artists who whitewash Raphael from Baldur's Gate 3, like ... That man has bronze skin (human form) not LIGHT PINK 💀 And then when I point it out and that it's not okay, leaving a tip on how to avoid that mistake next time, they don't know what I'm talking about and are offended!

It can happen that you pick the wrong skin color, that's okay, especially as an artist without much experience, but listen to other artists who point out to you that that character looks whitewashed, be open to LISTEN and AVOID picking the absolutely wrong skin color next time. Simple.

Side note: I got a huge thrill having the parents seeing that Li Ming learned sign language for their kid. And then proceeded to get bullied by Heart into telling his mom off for him. That moment was absolutely where it was at.

Sims 4 Update Rant

Welp, looking over the patch notes for this update, I'm very happy with what I'm seeing, unfortunately its overshadowed by the undeniable fact that this shit should have been in the goddamn game at launch! The launch was awful so I shouldn't be surprised! No pools, no basements, no cars, no open world (going to your fuckin neighbors house is fucking loading screen!!), no option to customize clothing or furniture the way you could in Sims 3, teenagers looked like fuckin adults (had to get a freaking mod to change that!), babies are a fuckin object attached to their crib (can't take them anywhere) no infant stage!!

How the fuck do you not have an infant life stage in a fucking life simulation game??? Fuck, like how tf are they that incompetent???! They did the same dumbass shit with toddlers! Toddlers were not apart of the game at launch. In a fucking LIFE SIMULATION GAME! This is not your first fuckin rodeo, Sims 1, 2, and 3 (and the others) came before this empty shell of a game, no excuses! How tf are previous version more complete than the 4th iteration? I'll tell you how, greedy bitches being greedy bitches, trying to sell us fundamental parts of the game in 'game packs' and 'expansions' and stuff packs and all the other nickle and dimeing bullshit. I'm not saying expansions and game packs are bad. I LOVED the Sims 3 expansions and game pack, but in those days, that extra stuff was just that. EXTRA. Not pieces of the base game chopped up and sold back to you! Like that shit is not okay and we shouldn't settle for it either. Tired of this gaming trend of releasing broken, empty, shity quality games and expecting to be paid top price for it! It really has to stop!

🌇 broke my lease and moved out of that awful disgusting apartment with that filthy pig roommate and am now living in my own tiny polly pocket sized studio in the most beautiful lil neighborhood and i love it

🩺 i have officially “failed treatment” for my autoimmune condition so we’re now back to the drawing board and my symptoms just continue to make my life a living hell…oh and just to mix things up and really get funky i ended up in the ER last week with kidney stones so i missed a bunch of work and now my boss is very unhappy with me

Rude, judgmental comments by people who haven’t graduated middle school on someone’s work who has a college degree in writing.

Please don’t comment about little details. It’s called a book of “imagines” for a reason.

And if you hate the phrase, “make love to me” you probably aren’t old enough to read that kind of story anyway.

If this offends you, I’m sorry. It’s just I have a college degree in English Literature and I’m tired of getting little comments on my books that make me feel like a horrible writer.

Please be respectful about what you comment. There’s no reason to belittle someone’s work because you don’t like how an author wrote it. If you don’t like it, stop reading it instead of leaving a hurtful comment. And if you want to judge my writing, show me you can do better.

Again, I’m sorry if this offends you. The whole reason these kinds of apps were created were to support writers. Not attack them.

first of all, I apologise if some of this is weirdly worded. English is not my native language.

I am not the biggest fan of capitalism, especially not the extreme version. But if there's one thing that irritates me more than a hardcore capitalist, it's a hardcore capitalist that doesn't even know the ideal capitalism strives towards. It's the people that don't want public healthcare, but also don't want to remove monopolies and patents or bring transparency to problematic industries.

because capitalism, just like communism, is a philosophy that works towards a utopia. In this utopia only the best companies (not only when it comes to money, but also the ones that best match that societies values) come out on top, and anyone gets as much rewards as their work is worth. Ignoring that fact that it removes any value of human life except your ability to work, that is not that bad of an ideal to work towards.

In theory capitalism works towards these ideals through the choice of the consumers and workforce. For example, it presumes that consumers will not buy products that are bad for the environment, if they are against climate change. therefor, if enough people care about the climate, the businesses that pollute the most will fail, because too few people will want to buy their products. this is also where the values come in, it assumes that people won't buy from companies who's values don't align with theirs. the same principals go for jobs. the ideal situation assumes people won't take jobs that pay unfairly.

now I'm sure you, dear reader can see where this falls apart. The ideal situation only works if you think of 'bad job vs. death' as a choice, and it assumes that everyone is informed about every detail about every product they buy. or that there are other choices in the first place.

now, there are some ways to help some of the worst holes in these ideals. things like the government giving people enough money to live even if they don't have a job, because that means they are actually in a position to debate with their employers about better wages and things like that.

things like not allowing companies to overcharge on medicine because consumers don't have the option NOT to buy it.

things like ruling and enforcing total transparency from companies when it comes to where they get their resources and labour from, because you can't make an informed decision if you allow them to sweep everything unsavoury under the rug.

so it fucking bothers me, when people who claim to be capitalists fight against any of this. because they're not capitalists, they just want to make money and allow as many people as possible to be exploited because that keeps them from fighting back. we should stop greedy assholes use capitalism as a mask for being the camouflaged oppressive tyrants that they are or support.

If you're fighting for a flawed system, at least try to work towards the ideals that system is supposed to obtain, instead of actively fighting to get further away from them.

I feel like i have every piece of, especially, modern and avant garde art in my head. I know every style of this world. Idk for what. I went there to create but it end up being history of art, philosophy instead of the practice of actual art. I WANT TO CREATE FUCK OF?????? XD

this and many of that will be the reason why i will soon have podcast about polish art universities as ASP. I will talk there about the serious problems I, my friends, students had to go through. I will be open with that finally.
