Meet Rune

About a few weeks ago I had started a new Ben 10 fic that was a Gwen 10 AU, specifically an Anodite Ben, Called Magic Spark . A few weeks ago I started reading posts from @the-punning-ubus about their own Gwen 10 Anodite Ben AU and we have gone crazy with the ideas ever since

So @the-punning-ubus @pimono and @glytchedmuffins and share a discord and we have been creating headcanons and debating what would be different, especially when taking into consideration all that we have learned in UAF and Omniverse.

As in my fic Ben does not have the Omnivrsem he has to find a new way to become a hero and help other people and his cousin. He takes on the silent persona of the Rune.

Spider Ben AU! I like the idea of Ben actually keeping the spider around, a bit like Penny. I also couldn’t resist adding in the Alien features too (admittedly to a lesser extent but still there) cause otherwise he’d just be regular ol spiderman and at that point I might as well just make regular Spider-Man fanart. Anywho…

Digital drawing of Stre'ga I decided to do since I realized that outside of those reference pictures I did a while back, she really only has like...two other digital drawings... also look her staff is here!

The crystal in the Palm is a piece of corrodium. Which she only exposes as a last resource attack.

Also sorry that the shading is a bit choppy that was kind of a last minute decision...

When did Charmcaster join Gwen's team in your AU?

In my au, Charmcaster shows up earlier.

She’s helping out Kevin during the arms deal scene and they get busted by Gwen and Ben. Gwen wasn’t able to convince Kevin to join her team bc dude went crazy last time bc of her and now that he’s sane, he wants nothing to do with her but agrees to help out once in a while.

Ben however was able to convince Charmcaster, saying he got into magic bc of her, she was a big influence on how he does magic, and he wants her to teach him more. That endears Charmcaster to join

I’m planning on making a fic but this is the gist of what I got

Yep. I usually don't do that, but I thought that I wanted to tackle and play with some episodes with Ben having his powers already, and because Hex's episode is so late in the season I decided to move the episodes around so basically Hex' comes before Hunted which is the chapter I'm working on now,and a lot of the episodes will be moving around, at least in season 1
