How would you make your own version of ben in the Gwen 10 au?

Sorry this took me so long to reply to! I was moving out of my flat when I got this ask, and then when I sat down to think about it I started brain rotting unbelievably hard.

Anyways, I have two answers to this question!

First off, Anodite Ben! Since Gwen 10 kind of functions as a role swap, I find it fitting that Ben would sort of take up her role in this universe. I think Ben would fully embrace his anodite side as a result of his desire to be a hero and fight to help people.

When Verdona offers to strip him of his mortal body and go full anodite, I feel like this version of Ben would probably have accepted. I haven’t really ironed out the details but despite agreeing to go to Anodyne and train with Verdona, he continues to be a menace to teach and frequently comes back to earth to hang out with Gwen and people.

It took me forever to do because I’m picky, but here’s the anodite Ben design I came up with!

I’ll probably do more art for this later, but to keep this brief onto idea number two!

The second answer to this actually comes back to an AU I made (and scrapped) that revolves around Ben being a super techie / weapon obsessed plumber to compensate for not having the omnitrix in this universe. He had a hover board and stuff, and ahhh I might post the designs I did for that another day, but yeah, both of these options feel pretty good to me!

You guys seemed to like the concept art for Anodite Ben, so have some doodles to go with them! I’d like to think he pretends to be super extroverted, but in reality he only wants attention from very specific people.  Again, it’s that theater kid energy, but this time, he actually has theater classes. That’s where he made the costume! He only got into learning about magic ever since he met Charmcaster, which was a later in his life than the OS. Oh yeah! This AU doubles as a Gwen 10 au, but still keeping the focus on Ben. I know there’s several outcomes people HC for what a Ben in the Gwen 10 au would be, and I think they’re all cool too!

Headcanons for Ben10 Part 6

I feel like Anodite Ben would be more like Sunny (their anodite cousin) and more freely use his anodite form to fight crime. He definitely love the fact he have a secret identity. Ben would use his power more for fun and personal use than Gwen.

Ex. Ben using power to bring his smoothie from close room to him. Levitate the smoothie to mouth as he plays Sumo Slammers.

Ex. Ben turning full anodite as starting fighting Forever Knights.

Anyway personal ben ten theory of mine is that ben took so well to the omnitrix because hes part anodite as well as being human. he did get the spark but with the omnitrix using so much energy his powers dont manifest. that energy goes to helping it recharge more quickly and other functionality
