I’m literally half a month late to post because of school but! As some may know, I’m part of a Gloomverse server which does a mini art fight every year, so, here’s an image from it!

Another character by @qween-virgay, this time it’s their Stratoversian OC Nubula! This was a piece to pair with a beautiful animatic by @papier-ciseaux and also served as practice for drawing some explosions and I really learned a lot.

Well of course i can puff out my cheeks! not to such cartoony extremes, but i can! Now, I have a question for you-

what reason is there for you to ask me specifically to try and recreate that clearly impossible cartoon image? hm? were you hoping to see something in particular?

anyways, sorry for being offline for a while, just been distracted, and right now I'm just waiting for my hair appointment!

so, to answer this... I'm changing it up just a little. should still be same technique though, of just brushing it daily being enough to keep it looking fine. I'll definitely post an update once my hair is done!

as a local anime hater (/j) i'm gonna draw the best part of anime. and my personal take on it

that made me think of my favorite topic of Kirby fanfiction - that being anime/gameverse crossovers in the "isekai to a parallel universe" style. usually Tiff and Tuff in those interact with slightly older and more competent and independent version of Kirby - wonder what's their take on adult Kirby would be?

I’m literally frothing at the mouth

December 2005, Aomori Prefecture

It’s beginning to snow as they arrive at the lodge. Storm clouds blot out the sun, so it feels late even though it’s only midday. Yoshi shuffles out of their rental car, and zips up her jacket when a cold breeze hits her face.

This mission already sucks.

Not only is she cold and bundled up like a mummy, but the assistant helping them is a cranky old man.

“Why do you get the room with the big bed?” Satoru complains to the older man.

Their rooms are connected through a doorway, but one room has a huge king-sized bed, while the other has two twin-sized mattresses.

The assistant sneers. “’Cause I’m not sharing with either of you brats. Meet me in the lobby at six for dinner.”

Then he slams the door in Satoru’s face.

Yoshi drops onto one of the beds, already resigned to her fate. She’s been on missions with just Satoru before, but never this far from Tokyo. And obviously she hasn’t had to share a room with him. All it means, really, is that there will be no real privacy until the mission is completed.

havent had time to draw much on pc, so I've been drawing on my tablet and messing with some new brushes and oh man I"m in love with this lining pen.

Anyway, this is a character from a gloomverse fan comic I'm working on which is gonna take a hot second before it's ready to post so I figured I'd give The Agent (aka Kire) some love because he's quickly becoming a favorite character of mine.

also side note but he looks like a well dressed dave strider when it's just the linework (which you can find on my insta version of this post [link in pinned post]) and I find this hillarious.

don't worry, they don't play football with a live bomb. they play tennis with it at Magoland lmao

other than that - normal kid games! Tiff also reads a lot to Nova, but Tuff thinks that's boooring and usually not participating. They're a bit too young to spar as a pasttime, but that's gonna change once they get older lol
