I noticed that “tears” makes people feel emotional. So, I chose the opposite and turned it to a jolly moment 😅

Gruvia Week 2021 Day 3 - Discovery
Author’s note: This emotional roller coaster turned out longer than I intended. Hope you enjoy ^^
Summary: It take place several hours after Alodron’s defeat, on the way of Drameel.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Group had stoped over in a small yard inside the forest before continuing their path to Drameel. It was the excuse they gave the army. They were campers which had been attacked by some wild animal on thir campsite. They would head to Drameel right after dressed their wounds. Aldron was just a town’s name they knew. To their surprise, army really bought that.
It was really small yard, just enough to lit a campfire. So everybody was spread around the forest. Less injuried members were gettering up wood and food to prepare dinner while Wendy was running around, healing big injuries with last drop of her magic.
Everybody was tired, injured and confused yet happy. Small victory smiles were visible on every face. Joyful whispers were rising from everywhere. Fairy tail was safe and together again.
Gray leaned on a tree which wasn’t too far away from campsite but private from other sights. He closed his eyes with a big sigh while Juvia went to get health supplies. The nauseous feeling had been crippling inside him since the event with Metro kept getting stronger and he was at his limit at this point. His head was aching, there was a still fresh wound end of the dried blood track, his left shoulder was at least dislocated and without adrenaline rush, he was feeling like fainting.
He opened his eyes with two different footsteps coming to his way. Juvia was carrying dressing matterials while Wendy was carrying a bowl of water. Both of their faces was twisted in worry. Was he looking bad as he felt?
“Gray-san what’s wrong, where did you get hurt ?” Wendy asked in rush. “Just my arm and head, not big deal” he said with a ressuring smile but nobody bought that.
Juvia was sitting in the corner, giving Wendy enough space to do her stuff. It wasn’t easy tho. He looked like a mess. She’d been aware that his condition was getting worse every passing minute as they walk but he wasn’t looking half as bad before she left, had he’s been faking it not to worry her? Her heart twitched with another wave of affection.
Wendy checked his head first and gasped a little. It was worse then she initially thought. “Do you feel dizzy or like vomiting Gray-san?” she asked. He gave a small nod then hissed in pain. That hurted, he thought.
“You’re probably having a concussion, I will heal it right away. You should still rest tho.” she said while using her magic. With that ice mage started to feel alive again. “Shit, I’m feeling awesome Wendy, you are amazing!!”
She mumbled something like thank you with one of her cute blushes on and tend towards his left shoulder, fixed it instantly too. This time Juvia talked “ We are so luck to have you Wendy-san~” she said with a bright smile. The gloom had been radiated from her was long gone. “I’m glad I can help my friends. Juvia-san what about you, Did you get hurt too?”
“No, just some scratches, Juvia is okey.”she said while giving an impish look to Gray. Which led him to blush and turn his head. Wendy didn’t know what was that about but she had a guess. “Is that so, than I’m heading to Erza-san. Don’t hesitate to call me if you need.” And left while ice and water mages were waving goodbye, warning her for not to overuse her magic.
Idiot, idiot, idiot he repeated himself as Wendy’s footsteps faded. She’s my power to live?? What will you do next time, kiss her in the battlefield? You extra little-
His inner scrolling cut short by a wet cloth. Juvia was cleaning his face. “Dressing time” she said, trying so hard not to grin like a cheshire cat. She knew it would scare him if she teased him about it longer than she already did. But remaining calm was hard when all she heard was her beloved’s voice echoing in her head. Juvia was his power to live!!
With that she bit her lower lip in an unsuccessful attempt to stop a smile from forming. Gray rolled his eyes to that but relaxed a bit. Her dramatic reactions were so familiar... Yeah, he had practically confessed but it wasn’t something new. Things wouldn’t changed between them. With that realisation he even smiled when she covered her mouth to muff her slipped out giggles.
“Oh,shut up” he said while rolling his eyes once again. But this time he was chukling too. “Juvia’s mouth is sealed.” She said while switching to his arm, cleaning the area with a bright smile. She had almost finished bandaging his right arm when he stopped her. “Wendy healed me, I should have done dressing to you first.” “Not until Juvia finishes mummifing Gray-sama” she said, pushed him back and continued her job. “Hah, I knew it, you had come out of nowhere to kill me. White mage was just an excuse, wasn’t it?” He said playfully. So he was comfortable enough to joke around again? He usually needed more time for his awkwardness to fade off. Progress, she mentally noted.
“Of course it was.” She put her best yandere impression on: “ She missed her Gray-sama too much while he was away, she come here to make sure he won’t leave her ever again!” Than laughed grisly.
“Okey, that was terrifying. You are terrifying Juvia” he played along. “Oh and you should be terrified, Juvia is dead serious, see?” she said, started wrapping his abdomen faster while touching that soft spot she knew Gray was ticklish more than she had to.
His response was immediate. “Stop, no, Juvia sto-“ his words cut off with a laughter. His eyes began to fill with the effort not to burst out. He was crawling in different shapes to save himself but Juvia was merciless. She cornered him between her body, large tree that he was initially leaning on and ground he was currently laying. And tickled him more aggressively as she finished bandaging his wounds. “I have a reputation damn it, stop.” he said between laughters and hold her wrists together in a, successful this time, attempt to stop her. But instead of trying to tickle him more or accepting her defeat, she hissed in pain.
He got up fast, questioning what was wrong while rolling up her sleeves. When he saw weird, bruis like wounds covering her whole arm, he yelped.
“Juvia!! Why didn’t you say anything?” Juvia was looking pretty surprised too. “Where Juvia had been pinned inside Metro was stinging a bit but she didn’t think it was something important...” Her voice kept getting lower once she saw his angry expression. “Your whole arm and-“ he checked under his long boots “ leg are covered in red bruises and you didn’t think it was important!?” Juvia opened her mouth but Gray was just started. “You never take care of yourself. Can’t I even trust you when you say I’m fine?” He started to unbuttoning her coat aggressively since bruises were going beyond her upper arms. He’s stripping me, she mentally noted and placed it aside for later. It wasn’t the right time, he was really angry.
“And you bandaged me with those arms! Always depriving yourself, UGH” She opened her mouth once again when he paused his silent yelling to search right ointment in first-ait bag. But before she could found an excuse, moment passed. He continued scrolling her while angrily rubbing oinment on her left arm.
“What should I do, do I need to strip you every time after a mission to make sure you are okey-“ he paused once again when his eyes slightly crossed over the scar on her abdomen, the one he couldn’t stand seeing. Oh-uh Juvia thought, knowing this would make him grumpier. And she was right, his grip tightened on her wrist. Continued his speech angrier which was about how reckless she was, how she was not listening her physical needs, how she should get her priorities right...
And at that moment, it hit her... She knew her feelings were not as unrequited as it was before. She had known it before that sweet words from several hours ago, she’s my power to live. She had known it before he had claimed her body by saying it’s his. She had known it before unpleasant encounter with Invel. She even had known it before he had promised an answer to her on starry night.
But at that exact moment, while he was grumbling about how reckless she was and angrily wrapping bandage above her elbow; she realised he may care her more than she dared to assume. And at that exact moment she felt loved, more loved than she felt her entire life.
He stopped when he saw her eyes were shining with tears. His expression softened with guilt. Lightened his grip. “I’m sorry. Did i hurt you?” She shooke her head and hugged him carefully, trying not to ruin his effort by rubbing ointment off.
“Juvia will take care of herself more from now on, she won’t act reckless, promise.” She said with a touched voice. It was obvious she was crying. “Hey, hey what’s wrong?” Gray tried to push her, to saw her face but she tightened her arms and buried her face deeper in his neck. “Nothing, really. Can we stay like this for a while please.” she said. Gray was about to object when he felt her tears in his neck, followed by a smile. That was a genuine smile. Gray had never been good at reading people’s emotions but Juvia was different. He would understand if she faked it.
So he mumbled “What is this for all of a sudden?” but still wrapped his arms around her waist, rested his blushed cheek on her hair. They were out of sight anyway.
They stayed in that position until Mirajane declared it was dinner time.

No More Waiting (Gruvia Week 2021 series) Chapter 4: Tears
Masterlist
Warnings: Pregnancy.
Series summary: After the 100 Years Quest, Gray’s finally ready to be in a relationship with Juvia. And after pining for each other for so long, things escalate quickly.
Chapter summary: After learning she’s pregnant, Juvia worries how Gray will take the news.
A/N: Easter is about new life, and this chapter is about Juvia being pregnant so the timing of this prompt with my idea works out really well! Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates!
---------------
After hearing the news that she was pregnant, Juvia froze. Her mind was blank but she still instinctively brought her hand to rest over her abdomen, trying to feel for the life that was growing inside of her, as if her motherly instincts had already begun to take hold. And that wouldn’t be a surprise. She had been fantasizing about having Gray’s children from the moment she met him. But years had gone by and things had changed. Yes they were together now but they were supposed to be taking things slow. This certainly wasn’t slow at all…
“Juvia…” Porlyusica probes, noticing the girl was lost in thought. “Are you alright child?”
Child…hearing that word made Juvia wince slightly. Child, what a strange thing to call someone who’s carrying a child…
“I’ll be fine.” Juvia says hoarsely. “It’s just news I wasn’t expecting.” She says as she looks down at her stomach and rubs it gently. “And I don’t know if this news will be good or bad yet.”
That all depends on how Gray takes it… Juvia thinks to herself as she leaves Porlyusica’s office to head back home.
She took her time walking back to her and Gray’s apartment. There were so many questions running through her mind and most of them centered on Gray. That wasn’t unusual. She thought about him constantly. But normally when she thought about him, she was happy. But now there were storm clouds beginning to form over her head as she thought about a worst-case scenario reaction to the news of her pregnancy.
It was enough of a miracle that he loved her! He never showed it in public but whenever they were alone in their home together he made up for it, showering her in kisses and hugs, and telling her how much he loves her. Would he still love her after he finds out she’s pregnant? He was very clear about the fact that he wanted to take things slow. He would surely be mad at her once he finds out she’s carrying his child. And then it would all be over, he’d kick her out of his apartment and the brief period of happiness they had together would be over forever!
Juvia falls to her knees and begins to weep as the rain starts to fall around her. Why would the universe be so cruel to her? Why would Gray come into her life only for the universe to rip him away from her again?
“Hey lady!” A gruff voice shouts at her.
Juvia looks up to see three brawny, evil looking men standing on the path in front of her.
“What the hell are you doing out here crying in the rain?” One of them asks.
“Why does that matter, Drake?” Another one asks the one who just spoke. “Let’s just mug this chick and move on.”
Juvia immediately pulls herself together once she realizes the danger she’s in.
“Water whip!” She shouts and uses her water whip to knock the three men on the ground.
She runs past them but one of them manages to get up and grab her around her ribcage! No problem though, because Juvia could just use her water bo-wait…the baby! Would using her water body cause the baby to fall out of her? She was in such a shocked state that she didn’t think to ask Porlyusica that before she left! Well, she definitely didn’t want to use it now and risk losing this child. Even if she loses Gray, she had this new love in the form of the baby that they made together, and she would do everything she could to protect it. So she tried her best to wiggle out of this barbaric man’s hold, but it was no use.
As the two other men got closer to her, she kicked them both in the chest.
“Ow! Damn bitch-“ One of them shouts and he goes to punch her in the stomach and Juvia instantly panics.
“No please! Juvia is pregnant!” She shouts.
Thankfully the man stops. The malice that the three men shared instantly faded at this realization that they were dealing with a pregnant woman.
“You’re pregnant!” A voice exclaims from down the path. A familiar voice. One that when Juvia hears it her heart breaks.
She reluctantly turns to see Gray standing there, his eyes wide in shock and his jaw agape as the rain falls on his body. She gives him an apologetic smile and nods.
After a sharp intake of breath, Gray shakes his head and re-focuses. He had to get those bastards away from the woman he loves.
“Get off of her!” He shouts.
He use his ice-make magic to send a series of frozen spikes at the men run for it after dropping Juvia on the ground. Gray runs to her.
“Juvia are you alright?” He asks with concern.
“Yes, the bandits didn’t hurt her.” Juvia assures him.
“Well that’s good but I don’t give a crap about them right now!” Gray exclaims. “You were taking too long to get back home and when I saw the storm forming over the forest I came after you to find out what was wrong! Are you upset because you’re pregnant…” Gray asks, with a hint of sadness and disappointment in his voice.
“No…well, not exactly. Juvia is happy to have this baby. She’s wanted to have your child since she fell in love with you. But Juvia’s sad because she knows you’ll be mad at her and leave her because you wanted to take things slow! Juvia has ruined her relationship with Gray-sama and it’s all her fault!” She wails and starts crying again.
“Hey it’s not your fault. If anything it’s mostly mine since I was the one that couldn’t keep my hands off of you during that weekend at the beach…” Gray says and blushes while rubbing his hand through his hair.
“So Gray-sama isn’t mad at Juvia?” Juvia asks hopefully and the rain starts to let up.
Gray cups her cheek in his hand and smiles at her. And that was enough to clear the clouds from the sky and the sun shown down on them.
“Juvia, I love you and now you’re having my child. This might be the happiest I’ve ever been in my life!” Gray exclaims.
Now tears of joy were flowing down Juvia’s cheeks as well as Gray’s and they both kiss each other in pure love and joy from the new life they made together.

Pairing: Gruvia

Prompt: Gruvia Week day 1: Beguile

Anyways I hope y'all are doing good and I love all the support and love you give me! enjoy :)
Also I’m sorry this is a day late but it wouldn’t be me if it were on time :)
--
The bar music had died down as the night went on. Unlike the other places where the crowds were starting to fill the rooms creating a space that was practically unbearable, The Rain Woman’s Bar was the opposite.
It was much more...gloomy than the other places. From the outside, the fade neon sign didn’t show much hope and Gray wasn’t having that much either. Placing his umbrella into the stand at the door, he found his way to the bar that only held one other person who was busy toying with the paper umbrella in his drink.
The place was dark and the music was low. It looked more like a front of passing drugs in the bathroom but he couldn’t seem to care because any where was better than being stuck in that office with his boss screaming at the top of his lungs for a paper that wasn’t on his desk. Sheesh.
He tapped his fingers on the bar tops. A dark blue granite that reflected the pale lights above was soon covered with a small napkin and a clear glass that was starting to fill with amber liquid.
“I didn’t order anything yet.” Gray said as he looked at the bar tender.
She only shrugged before moving on to refill the other dudes drink. “You look like a whiskey person.”
He watched as she walked to the other side of the bar. Dark blue hair pulled up into a bun. She had offered him a smile on her lips but when he looked at her, her smile had fallen into a thin line as the dude rattled off some sorry excuse for a pick up line.
There was something about her he could quite place. He has only known her for a sliver of a second and yet he wanted more.
“So this your place?” Gray asked with a slight cough because his voice came out a little rough.
She placed a used cup in the sink before turning to him. “All mine.” She smiled softly.
“What made you want to open this joint?”
She stood looking at him with a blank expression as if she couldn’t believe someone was actually talking to her without any gross attempts of wanting to get in her pants or drink off their ass.
“I’ve always loved bars but the nighttime is a little too lively for me. Then again, it’s not fun when you’re alone all the time.” She whispered the last part. “Everyone always thought I was too gloomy to party or do anything like that, so I opened a place that was much more relaxed.”
Gray didn’t realize he was grinning at her until he noticed a blush spread over her cheeks. “I feel like you would be fun to go clubbing with.”
She narrowed her eyes with a smirk. “Really?” She hummed.
“Gray.” He said.
“Juvia.”
“That’s a pretty name.”
The door opened for more customers and slowly Gray wasnt the only one at the bar. In fact, he started to get annoyed that everyone else was taking her attention even though he had no right to take it.
But when he was watching her move around the bar with ease, her face was more stone cold and she looked a bit for stand-offish than when they were talking.
His eyes didn’t leave her as he was practically charmed by her. He could put a finger on it but she was different. Her voice was smooth and not too high and she had a stunning figure that he would love to see more of, but he was drawn in by her blue eyes.
He looked down to an empty glass and was about to raise his hand but she was in front of him before he could.
“Same thing or something different?” She asked and that smile was back.
“I’ll take whatever you think I’ll like as long as I can buy you a drink next time you’re free.” He said.
“Shes free now.” A man came up behind her.
“Gajeel.” Juvia turned to him. “I’m working.”
“And I aint seen you this happy...ever. So you better grab a drink and get out behind the bar before I throw you.” He grunted and started to serve others.
Juvia rolled her eyes before looking back at Gray and taking off her apron before grabbing her stuff from the back room. And Gray slapped some money on the counter.
He met her out front of the bar and she looped her arm around his. “So where to?” She asked him.
“Doesn’t matter as long as you’re there.” He winked and she shook her head with a laugh.

Gruvia Week Day 6 - Agony
warning: mentions of blood
_ _ _
"Juvia, what're you doing up again?"
03:30 in the morning, Gray caught his wife of six months pondering around the kitchen, dressed in his shirt and nothing underneath it, other than silky underwear and knee-high, odd, socks covering her porcelain legs. Her hair had been in the same messy ponytail for the past two days; bumpy and greasy. She hadn't showered in almost a week.
She glances up at her Gray-sama, the portrayal on her face remains bleak as she blankly shrugs, "Can't sleep."
"Again?"
It'd been five days. Five days since the agonising, tragic loss she never even dreamed of having the trauma of going through. Awakening one day to buckets of rain dripping down the window, stomach cramps the same pain rate as being stabbed by a steak knife, and later that day her sheets are stained with blood dripping between her legs, followed by screams so harsh she'd lost her voice.
Juvia shakes her head at Gray's questioning, breaking the simple eye contact and continuing to circle around the central counter.
Gray forces her aimless pondering to stop as he takes her hand. Her eyes dart from the light grip on her hand to his eyes, hers narrowing in annoyance.
Gray couldn't bare it. Juvia never looked at him with such hatred. She can't control the way she's feeling right now, and he's aware that anything she may spit at him won't be from her heart. It's not her, he had to remind himself. She's suffered a loss, and he has too. Her end is only much, much more painful, as she was the one who had to experience losing her unborn child.
The two hadn't been married for long, and after Juvia discovers she's pregnant only five months into their marriage, she was delighted with excitement anyway. They never discussed exactly when kids could go on the table, yet the surprise out of nowhere was bliss.
Juvia would go day and night protesting she needed solitude, and begged him to take a job request. On the verge of accepting, he changed his mind in an instant and stayed for her. Gray couldn't control his thoughts and his worst fear was that Juvia may do something stupid to hurt herself.
She snatches her hand out of his grip, turning away and continuing to dawdle, "Juvia, can you come back to bed?" She shakes her head, "Please?" Another objection as Gray follows her circular path.
"Can you take a shower then? I think it'll do you good."
Her head shakes roughly this time, and Gray manages to catch a brief sound of sniffling, her feet remaining fixed on the floor.
"Bath?" Gray suggests, keeping his distance in case she slaps away his touch once more, "It'll make you sleepy."
With a release of an exhausted sigh, she agrees. "Fine." Juvia's never so blunt in her words.
"I'll run it," He leaps in front of her before she can enter their bedroom, "Lie down for a minute, okay?"
Juvia obliges, carefully placing herself on the edge of the mattress, not lying down, instead slouched in her seat, her fingers fiddling and pulling with the ends of her socks. Anything for a distraction.
Gray was still in surprise of how the girl hadn't yet fainted. She'd lacked in both sleep, and eating. Truthfully, he can't remember the last time he saw something enter her system. She hadn't dropped by the guild since before the incident, refused to allow people inside the apartment, including Gajeel, and had stop using the terms "Gray-sama", when referring to her beloved husband. Gray may have found it irritating way back in the day, but now it's just not the same. He can't stand watching her suffer. What struck him down most is that he may have been trying his best to make life easier for her, however nothing was helping.
The only other person aware of their current situation was Erza. She advised Gray he just needed to give her time, she'll come around eventually. Her biggest concern was Gray's wellbeing. He's gone through hell, and this time instead of moping around, complaining about life and frankly wishing he wasn't around anymore, he wasn't letting himself cry it out. He desperately wanted Juvia to at least smile. Her smile is what keeps him going. Without it, what's the point?
Honestly, all Gray needed right now was to weep his depressive thoughts into someone's chest. Only this time, he can't to Juvia. She's already killing herself with guilt.
Juvia dismally thanks Gray for running her bath as she enters the bathroom, her shirt already undone and the shoulders draping down her arms. Gray choses to leave her in peace, about to open the door and wait eyes open in their bed for her. Until Juvia latches her hand onto his, tugging him back inside. "Can you stay in here with me?"
Juvia swirls her hand around the decently heated water, while the other is in Gray's hand as he is sat on the floor next to the tub. Her hold was weak, but at least the two were touching each other, even if it was only a hand hold.
Neither of them spoke. Sitting in silence with each other was enough for now.
"I'm really sorry." Juvia startles Gray as her voice cracks, breaking the silence.
"For what?"
"The past few days," Her hand swirling ends, looking up with her watering eyes into Gray's, "I've been really cold to you. I'm not making this any easier."
"Nothing about this is easy, Juvia," If anything, Gray's wishes were the opposite of her sincere, unneeded and unwanted apologies, "You don't have to apologise. You don't need to," He lifts his hand from hers, brushing it down her dampened hair, caressing her cherubic cheeks, "It's only your way of coping. I know you don't mean anything you say."
Juvia appreciates nothing more than her darling's kind words. Even though no smile was emitted, he knew she took his words to heart as her hand placed on top of his, turning her face slightly and planting her lips on the corner of his palm.
Unfortunately, his light touches and sweet words weren't enough for her to keep back a gush of tears. Her gloomful teardrops splatter into his hand, whimpers and sniffles following.
_ _ _
Juvia pleaded Gray to leave her in peace in the lukewarm bathtub after her flood of tears had escaped. Gray was unsure of what to say. All she needed from him was brief contact, and of course an immediate change of heart occurred as her drops of sadness had faded.
Gray left behind another one of his shirts and some clean underwear for Juvia. He refused to acknowledge his exhaustion and remained awake while patiently awaiting Juvia's return to their bedroom.
Almost 04:30, Gray peeps up at the door as it creaks open. Juvia tiresomely walks through, the drips in her wet hair seeping through her braids, and the buttons on her shirt done up in the wrong order. It didn't bother her, though. She probably didn't even notice.
Gray opens up the covers for her side, the eye contact absent as she crawls in beside him, switching off the lamp as she does so.
Juvia lays on her side, facing Gray yet not exchanging any form of contact with him. Gray desperately wanted to pull her close to him, cuddle in their sleep and once again be comfortable with one another. She craved the space, though.
"Juvia," He breathes, trailing his hand towards hers, implying a moment of contact, which thankfully she agrees to, "I hate seeing you beat yourself up."
Silence.
"Tomorrow will you at least go outside? Even if it's only a small walk."
Her grip in his hand loosens, thinking it over. "I don't know..."
After picturing the absolute elation portrayed on her face, spectating her suffering was agonising for him.
At first, she was panicky, anxious and frightened of what Gray would think of her pregnancy. On the outside, she remained mature and adult-like, keeping the situation and her emotions under control.
"Gray-sama?" Juvia starts as she's sat on the bathroom counter, Gray opposite and leant on the wall with his arms folded, "What if it really is positive? What will we do?"
Juvia had been concerned whether she was pregnant or not for about four days. She first noticed her period was late, but that had happened before. Her cycle was up and down, so the notice in change wasn't a first sign of pregnancy.
"What do you want?" Gray wasn't sure at this point.
Gray was the one who proposed taking a pregnancy test just to make sure, as much as Juvia objected that she couldn't possibly be.
"Well, would Gray-sama mind if Juvia is pregnant? Would it bother you?"
Gray's response is quick with a head shake, "To be honest, no." Juvia peers up with her teeth nibbling her lip, "My main concern if you, Juvia. If you don't want to have a baby right now, that's your choice. This isn't really mine to make." Gray's tone had always been bland and he's a closed book, making their moment difficult for Juvia.
"I want your opinion, Gray-sama."
He tilts his head for a moment, what did he really think about this?
"I..." Gray questioned his possible skills as a father, already wondering whether he made a good husband before hand, "We've been married for almost six months, and these months have been the best of my life. I like having fun with you, when it's just the two of us. I know you want kids at some point, and so do I. So... if you wanna have a baby now, I'd be happy with it."
Juvia profoundly smiles at his honesty. She'd enjoyed her relationship with Gray-sama before they were even in one. She's loved him for years, and being pregnant with his baby would make her happier than ever. Even if it's sooner than she thought it'd happen.
She realises the timer had ended, and takes the test behind her, hovering her thumb over the result before taking a look. Gray steps closer, grabbing her hand while staring down at the test. Trembling, she slips her thumb aside to see two red lines, indicating a positive test.
"Juvia, I'm back." Gray announces himself as he enters their apartment.
As he closes the door, he quickly takes note how it's suddenly began to pour rain from outside. The windows are drowning in the water, and only a moment ago the sun was out. He hadn't seen rain like this in god knows how long.
"Juvia?" He calls again, after no response.
After searching the kitchen and living room, he heads to their bedroom. He opens the door to notice ruffled sheets, and towards the edge of the bed, a puddle of red was sinking into the mattress.
Gray catches the sounds of whimpers coming from the bathroom. Struck with confusion, he storms inside and witnesses his wife on the dark towel covering the tiled floor, dressed in one of his shirts. For support, her arms depended on the edge of the bathtub, while her face dug into her arm, soaking with tears.
Gray drops to the floor, gently shaking her arm in attempt to get words out of her. She refuses, shaking her head over and over again as her whimpers become cries of distraught. Finally, Gray notices a gush of blood between her legs.
