I’ve gone down a monster girls deep dive because while I think it’s silly that motogp still has ‘grid girls’ I also think that women SHOULD get paid for being hot and holding umbrellas. So were the grid bugs a deleted portion? They get a mention from Yori and a moment of them popping out of the ground but that’s completely it. I’m guessing either budget or time lead to whatever would’ve happened being cut, it’s just funny to think about how in later media like Betrayal and I’m assuming the video games they become much more of a big deal but in the actual movies they’re sort of a non issue.
