Since yesterday, the text messages between any (and all) members of the Shadow Operatives have gone quiet. Radio silence for hours... and Fuuka knew the reasoning why. She eyed the calendar by her door, always writing down whenever the members met or when someone was coming over to see her.

However, with 10/4 being circled in a bright red marker, Fuuka couldn't stop staring and knew full well what it meant: a week full of nightmares, tears, and having to pinch herself to make sure her mind was waking up in reality.

Fuuka had come to terms, on her own, that while it wasn't her fault Shinjiro protected her from letting Takaya know of her being the navigator, it ate away at her every year the day popped up. Even with him being alive and doing whatever he loved, far from the other members of the Shadow Ops, Fuuka never kept herself in contact with Shinjiro unless it was work related or a quick answer for a question. That's all she had to think--this is a friendship.

Then again, how do you get a conversation started with the one who took the heat for you? And how do you say I'm sorry when every time you look at him, you want to sob uncontrollably--and you love the man so much that you can't afford to give him any more problems. And the grief the last 14 years have caused for Fuuka was enough to still grow around it while it stayed dormant in her chest and mind. Dating was never an option--she feared she would be the problem and feared she'd put anyone in danger. Look at how she and her friends got captured.

"...I hope this month flies by like the last month." She places her hands to her chest, taking a deep breath in and out, and walks towards her bedroom after locking the door. Fuuka knew that the grief has helped her become a bit soft but hard around the corners. She still bites off more than she can chew, but still finishes her meal nonetheless. Fuuka lays on the bed and sighs heavily. Her phone next to her as she knew better than to hope for any text messages to go through.

Fuuka looked over at the picture of all of them at the festival--the only photo where everyone was alive and well. Alive. And well. Fuuka bit her bottom lip and covered her eyes with her arms. This was going to be a long and slow month--and she wished she could sleep the whole month away to ease the pain her heart gave her when she saw Mitsuru, Akihiko, Ken, and Shinjiro.

Why the hell did she have to love the damn man? And why didn't she keep in contact with the man who saved her life?

Howdy im here from the ask box open post you reblogged, i wanted to pop in and say i really like how expressive your art is! Most of my drawings are just doodles of lil circle heads so i dont know like anything about art that's like. anatomically-correct, haha, but i DO know about facial expressions and yours are soo nice! Its subtle enough it feels realistic but its still manages to be so expressive! I only scrolled through your art blog for a little bit cause the art you drew of ash and pikachu really stood out to me as like oh WOW that EXPRESSION i gotta make my ask about that wowie zowie! Theres just something THERE that makes it feel so much more ALIVE and like WOW look at the WIZARD of ART over here breathing LIFE into a TWO-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE

honESTLY expressions are literally my favorite thing to draw Ever!! :'0 I love the concept of cartoony expressions of course, but subtle or "realistic" expressions are what I have the most fun with ;0; unfortunately that probably means a lot of my art ends up looking kinda similar (or has a specific Mood about it; everyone i draw always looks Mildly Concerned lol), but I like to hope that's okay :0 glad u liked the Pokemon art!! that one was just a fun little scribble so it surprised me that so many folks ended up liking it, haha!

oh gosh anatomy is harddddd lol - so I feel ya on that! really the best you can do is just keep plugging away at it. I definitely don't feel like i'm all that great at it myself, but consistent practice with it brought me ahead of where I used to be! so don't stop drawing, you got this! :'D

Immediately after Shota leaves the Police Station after the raid, our favorite Hat-man looks up 'large owls' on the internet, finds out how strong they are, and just thinks, "I'll take the bite."

That powerful grip combined with those sharp talons make for a hat-man that is very grateful that Izuku seems to nip more than actual grabbing xD

I had a LOT of fun creating this year!! So much writing, as well as some solid art pieces too. Started the year with [the moors] for my RP groups which was a big venture into really good landscapes that became a continuing trend through-out the year, especially for my girl Hazelwood who gained several big pieces, including one I actually posted [here] - which shows a jump of improvement even from the Moors piece!

Had plenty of grillster pieces too, continuing my love for Hell-Raising with [this] piece that has been my favorite since I made it. It’s my discord icon and everything XDD I adore the Gaster being possessive piece too but using the rifle as a bar to keep Gaster in close was a stroke of genius I’ve yet to duplicate in visual art.

Gained several brushes this year that really leveled up my art as well I think!! Bone dry became a huge huge love as well for its texture on all levels. Goals for next year though would be to draw more subject focused pieces to continue to level up my cat drawing skills (and Grillster too...) and get better at animating for the projects I have in mind. A lot of my colors too came from the references I used, so I want to practice spinning my way around the wheel and finding stuff that works!

Leo really needs more company than just me!

I really love having F.Leo's company on my computer while I work ❤️‍🩹 but I look like a therapist listening to Leo's traumas, while he looks at the family photo and cries over the death of his brothers and father! 😭

I was really sad that I couldn't hug him when he was having a really bad time, so I got him some family company (I know the baby version of him and his brothers can't hug him, BUT STILL! THIS MAN NEEDS LOVE AND HUGS! AND MANY MAAAANY PATS IN THE HEAD!)
