A non-believer will often be attracted to a child of God at the beginning of a relationship BECAUSE of the love and light of Christ reflected from their soul. They will commonly say, "You make me want to be a better man, a better person.". Unfortunately, this intense love and adoration will soon fade unless both parties share a common love and commitment to living a life that glorifies God. Why, you ask? They can grow so accustomed to doing life relying on their "own inner strength" that they become comfortable living in captivity, living in the darkness. As followers of Christ, we must not allow rejection from a non-believer cause us to question our worthiness or value. Our value and identity rests solely in the hands of the Almighty God. Seek comfort from your heavenly Father through His Word. The truth is many people don’t want their lives exposed to God’s light because they are afraid of what will be revealed. They don’t want to be changed. Don’t be surprised when these same people are threatened by your desire to obey God and do what is right, because they are afraid that the light in you may expose some of the darkness in their lives. We are nearing closer & closer towards our big day! The race to get married isn't easy nor swift, takes a whole lot of planning, is faced with many challenges & not to mention can make a huge dent in your pocket books. #blacklove

Just in case you didn't know, I ran track at Tennessee State University & did the high jump for my first 2 years of college. Needless to say, I hate to run! #blacklovers

God told me He wanted me to do track at TSU & I obeyed. He told me I could stop after my 2nd year. Going to track practice, every single day, going to lift weights, circling all of my life & all of my being into being a track runner (when I was a freaking high jumper) SUCKED! #blacklovecouples

Yet, through that small act of obedience (huge for me), God brought me to where I am today. I used to pray & ask God to tell me, "Who is my wife? Do I know her right now?" I used to yearn for the day to have her in my life. #blacklovegoals

I made the track (a place of pain, suffering, misery for me) my sanctuary. The track was a place of worship, a place of prayer, a place to be with the LORD & to draw nearer to Him through my distress. I even prayed for all of my dreams! #couplelove

No matter how hard the challenges I face are, if God has brought me out of the worst hell imaginable (running), I know He can & will do it again & again & again & again! #couplegoals

I used to think I would not make it during a vast majority of our track workouts. Well I made it! And just like I made it through track, I will make it through this & anything in life as well! #couplegoal

Love always wins over lust... I use to think they were one in the same until I experienced love without any lustful interaction, and suffered lust with no loving connection... These days society says attraction determines the connection between two people, but God says when two people can except each other the way they are with each other's flaws included without physically having to touch each other then that is true love. God reveals those types of treasures, but I don't always have the wisdom of God to cherish it and handle it well. I tend to tell myself that it's just one-sided, and will push them away even fast then it will if I don't say anything about it at all.
