Duncan tries to respond back by calling her stuff like his "main squeeze", "sunshine" and "charmer". He also lets her call him by his middle name when they're alone. (I think it's Tate. He looks like a Tate.)

Duncan thinks it's kind of corny but sort of endearing but. They do good night and good morning texts (Sadie initiated and he thought it was adorable and they haven't stopped since)

Duncan usually just sends her pictures of his random alley murals but figured out how to send stuff over to her house and mailed her a brick that he spray painted a small mural on for her. She has it on her desk (which she thanks god can hold it).

Sadie always ends up giving him small trinkets she like to make in return. Made him a little skull pin and gave it during Christmas and he's keeps it wherever he goes even when he doesn't wear it.

Duncan tries to tease her all the time and it seldom works and she usually replies in earnest which flusters him real bad. It's so damn cute.

But when he gets her OHO he gets her GOOD. She starts blubbering about and giggling. Which still flusters him so bad.

I rushed inside the ambulance and sat next to my girlfriend's side. I held her fragile hand in mine and cried hard. I was supposed to keep her safe, not put her through this. I felt so ashamed of my actions. She was still unconscious. I felt a paramedic's hand on my shoulder. He looked at me and give me a squeeze on the shoulder. "She's going to be okay. Her injuries don't seem life threatening. She will be okay." I felt a little relieved after he said that. Earlier, Y/N's words about not wanting to die made me go crazy. We reached the hospital and they took her in. Finally, a nurse convinced me to get checked out too. It took 20 minutes before they let me go and I rushed to the entrance of the room they took her in and sat on the hospital chair. After what felt like an eternity, a doctor came out. I stood up quickly and rushed to him. "How is Y/N?" "She isn't in any serious danger. She has a broken arm, bruises and a mild concussion. It will take some time for her to heal, but she won't have any permanent damages. She's resting right now, you can go inside if you want." "Thank you so much, doctor." I shook his hand and went inside. My beautiful girlfriend was sleeping peacefully on the bed. Her cuts and bruises looked less bloody and her arm was in a cast. I sat on the chair next to her bed and took her hand in mine. I felt like the luckiest guy in the world. She was okay, but I could've lost her tonight. I felt so blessed having her with me. However, no matter what, I still felt shame. She shouldn't have been here. She should've been at home, laying on the bed with me, cuddling, making love. I didn't notice I had fallen asleep on the chair when a sudden movement woke me up from my nap. I looked at Y/N who was slowly opening her eyes. She looked around the room and landed her eyes on me. She gave me a small smile and closed her eyes again. She was tired, of course. "Y/N, baby. You're at he hospital. Everything is okay, you're not in any danger, but don't tire yourself, we will talk later, okay?" She gave me a nod and held my hand. She was trying to say something. "Ky, it's not your fault. I love you. I'm okay."

“aghh.. n-nurse!” i pant out as i run through the nurses door with junghoon on my back. 

“j-junghoon! he.. fainted!!” i exclaim 

“what?! junghoon!’’ the nurse shouts as she runs up to us.

10 minutes ago~~ 

“one million and one…one million and two” i grunt as i do sit-ups with junghoon holding my legs. ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ 

“hey.. you look scary..also what do you mean one million.. just let me count for you.” junghoon says with a blank face. 

“huh..?” i let out, out of breath from the 4 sit-ups.

i stop and lay on the floor trying to catch my breath. 

“tch, just do one more.’’ he says 

“okay.. one more.. ill do it.. quickly…” 

i put my arms behind my head and get ready to do another sit-up. 

‘lets do this fast…’ 

i quickly sit up and accidentally bump my head with junnghoon pretty hard 

‘’ah!!”

end of flashback~~ 

“ah.. so how he fainted? and wow you carried him on your back? thats pretty impressi- ah never mind it seems like he was supporting himself with his legs” the nurse and giggles a bit. 

“h-huh..?” i utter before junghoon gets off my back and walks perfectly fine.

‘i thought he was on my back..?’ 

“can i lie down for a bit? i have a nosebleed and i'm a little dizzy.” junghoon explains to the nurse while he walks over to a bed. 

“i think your blood circulation is a bigger problem junghoon..lay down for the rest of class.” the nurse says to him with wide eyes as she sees his arms and legs purple due to the tight cloths. 

he nods and takes of the jacket and lays down. 

i continue standing there, dumbfounded by what happend. 

“hm..y/n? do you need help with anything..?” the nurse asks. 

“n-no.. ill go now sorry..” i stutter as i smile at her awkwardly . 

the nurse leaves and i walk towards junghoon. 

“has your nose stopped bleeding.” i ask him looking down, embarrassed. 

“sorry for hitting you.” 

“hm i'm not sure.. my nose still hurts and i feel dizzy. i think it would be better if i put something cool on it..” he tells me as he looks away. 

“maybe two cartons of banana milk..” he sighs out 

“ill buy them for you!” i exclaim, not wanting him to hold a grudge on me. 

“..or two cartons of chocolate milk..” he adds as he puts his finger on his chin, pretending to think. 

“ill buy that too!-“ 

“and maybe three cartons of melon milk..” 

“but isn’t that too much…?’’ i say surprised at his request. 

junghoon looks at me with dark eyes after i say that. (¬_¬)

‘he looks…so scary..’  

"…okay ill buy th- .. huh?”

i cutoff my sentence after he raises his hand and moves my bangs aside.  

“what..?” i ask him confused with his action. 

“your forehead is very red. are you ok..?” he asks with a hint of worry in his voice. 

“…i,”

“i..i’m ok…i could even break a watermelon with my forehead. do you want to see?”

silence fills the air after i say that. 

‘oh my god.. its so awkward now..’ 

“…no thanks.. and just one milk is enough…” he clears his throat and looks away. 

“t-then you rest. ill go tell the teacher you’re ok..” i say with a shaky voice while slowly walking backwards towards the door.

SLAM 

“..ha..” junghoon smirks as he lays down and covers himself with the blanket

“hmm? y/n, jiwoon!~ shouldn’t you guys be going home..? and why did you buy so much milk?” jinsik asks as he points at my arms which is filled with 10 different flavors of milk. 

“oh, jinsik, his is for junghoon as a apology, i accidentally bumped heads with him during p.e..” i say while smiling. 

“were you going to go home together? is he still in class?” i question jinsik not noticing junghoon sneak behind me and placing something on my head. 

“no i'm right here.” junghoon plainly says as he suddenly appears next to jinsik. 

“oh.. these are the cartons of milk you asked for! since im sorry for what happened i bought you 10 of them!” i quickly say while placing all the cartons in his arms. 

“why do i feel something heavy on my head..” i touch my head and grab a carton of milk tea that was sitting there. 

“that’s yours. consider it my way of saying thank you for letting me use your p.e clothes.” junghoon utters, staring into my eyes. 

“huh..” 

“what about me? i was the one that asked for them~” jinsik jokes as he smiles. 

“i also went with her to buy all the milk~” jiwoon joins as does the same toothy smile as jinsik.  

“i'll wash the p.e cloths and return them tomorrow. my blood from the nosebleed is all over it.” junghoon ignores the two and starts walking away. 

“hey why are you running away?” jinsik giggles 

junghoon tells him to hurry so they could walk together. 

“see you tomorrow girls!” jinsik smiles and catches up with junghoon. 

‘wow i can’t believe he bought me this drink..’ 

i tear the straw from the side and pierce the it in the designated hole. 

‘mm it tastes good..’

‘AHH I CANT SLEEP AT ALL!’ 

 i sit up in my bed, wide awake. because of the caffeine in the milk tea, i can’t get to sleep. 

‘did kim junghoon buy me that milk tea as revenge..?’  

i get up and put on my hoodie, planning on heading outside to try to get tired. 

i walk to the neighborhood park and sit on the swings. 

“if i didn’t have that caffeine i wouldn’t be up this late…” i mumble to myself and i swing back and forth. 

i was supposed to meet with jiwoon in the morning so we could have breakfast before we go to school but i'm up so late..

“ugh kim junghoon..i won’t be the only one feeling this pain.. i'll buy to the same milk tea tomorrow..” i scowl as i continue swinging with my eyes closed. 

“excuse me..”

i open my eyes and see a little girl maybe about 8 years old. 

she had short hair and big dark eyes. 

“oh..hi?” i stop swinging as i look at the little girl, confused on why she’s outside alone. 

“hi..” she says softly still staring at me. 

“uhh.. is there a problem? do you need help?” i ask slightly worried. 

“can i swing with you..? it looks fun!” she says with a cute smile as she points at the swing im on. 

“oh sure! are there any adults who came with you? if your lost.. i could lend you my phon- what are you doing..?” my eyes widen as the little girl puts one foot on the side of me. 

suddenly she pushes off her other leg and jumps on the swing with me. the swing is going up really high and aggressively.  

“AHH!!’’ i shout while holding on to the ropes  tightly. 

“ISNT THIS FUN~!” the little girl shouts back and giggles.  

“MOON BO-EUN!!” someone yells causing bo-eun to stop swinging. 

“what are you dong here? told you to wait for me at the elevator..” the lady says, crossing her arms. 

“hmph! i told you i wanted to go to the playground! and you didn't let me go! T-T” bo-eun grunts. 

i continue sitting on the swings watching the scene, still a little shocked from the swinging. 

“you little- what would you have done if you got into trouble huh?!” the lady shouts as she puts bo-eun in a head lock. 

“ahhh! i only rode on the swing with that lady in the black hoodie." bo-eun shouts back while pointing at me. 

the lady stops and looks at me. 

“im really sorry for my little sister, she ran away without telling me, im sorry if she annoyed you..” she explained with apologetic eyes.  

‘wow.. she’s really pretty.’ 

“oh dont worry, i had fun on the swing with her. im glad everything is ok now..” i answer back with a smile

the older sister tells bo-eun to apology quickly so they can leave. 

“sorry! ill give you a more run ride next time!” she say enthusiastically and smiles cutely. 

“ah.. thank you.. take care” i answer and wave at them. 

‘gosh its been so long since i swung like that..’ 

“bora!”  

‘wait that voice sounds familiar..’ 

i look around and see jinsik walking up to the sisters. 

‘jinsik? and he just called her bora.. no way..’ 

i notice jinsik recognizes me and his face brightens. 

“oh.. y/n?”

i'm actually so tired of my mindset going from: aghh i love every ep they're just like me ong literally we're the coolest my life would be so droll without them !!!!

to: everyone including every ep is annoying. i feel nothing towards any of these people. they're turning into obstacles. to what? god knows.

it's not willing at all and i wouldn't call it splitting because it's not accompanied by much intense feeling or black&white thinking or anything like that. most of the time i don't even notice it until i speak to an ep again, and i realise how annoyed i am at these little things, these little quirks about the way they act that i previously would've doted on.

like .... i'll talk to them again because i want to, and i want to have a good time with them, i do feel as if i have some connection with them — but when it actually happens, it's just.... Why do i need you? i suddenly don't care at all. although i'm not consciously thinking of it, my brain just kinda seems to drop them in more of an "obstacle" schema and i don't know why. i want to talk to them, but then i'm just vastly disappointed in stuff i would've previously enjoyed — it's as if i get bored of them, but it doesn't last forever & i honestly have no idea what triggers the switch to flick on/off

it doesn't help that my brain just reads interactions wayy to easy. "you said this because you want me to respond in this way" ; "you said this because you want me to be flustered over something" ; "you said this so i ask x y & z" ; "you said this that lightheartedly so i'll express concern" ; "you said this, because you know it's something i like to hear/an opinion i have, though i know you're new to this subject yourself//you're echoing what i said previously for approval" ; "you're vaguely coming to me specifically with this specific mental health problem i have bcs you want validation that you might have it too" etc etc etc etc etc

stuff i wouldn't previously mind, but because suddenly people are so easy readable, it's like ....?

i try to treat people no different — worst i'll do is respond in simpler sentences, which i do regardless due to Neurodivergence™, but it's still so. So frustrating. I just want to enjoy my time with others for god's sake. How long is this gonna last???

My personality (a mess im so sorry):

Well, I don’t think I could tell you. What I know of myself is that I try to be honest, I am loyal to my friends and probably obsessive when someone shows me interest and i dont know- (there’s some mental disorders going around, along a suspicion of autism) Personally I see myself as a shy annoying brat, while in reality I don’t ever initiate conversation and never know what to say unless it’s about a hyperfixation or something—AGAIN I OVEREXPLAIN EVERYTHING. My mouth doesn’t work as well as I’d like to, I cry too much (imo) I’m sensitive to well a lot, I get overstimulated quickly depending on the situation and um well I’m a picky eater I guess.

RAHHH I LOVE FOOD. And I’m chubby. I’m VERY self conscious and messy (which I’m sure you’ve noticed if you got this far)

Fun fact! If i were to live alone (still living with parents because house market is hell) I’d probably forget to eat a lot/overeat even more than I already do. Why? Because I don’t feel it. I don’t feel a limit to my ‘hunger’ and I don’t even really think I feel hungry at times.

Also, I hate to be perceived by people. It makes me feel like… too much alive. I don’t really feel a connection between my mind and my body, like someone sees my body and I’m just: THAT AINT ME YALL PLEASE IT AINT MEEEEE 😭😭😭😭 but id never say that bc again, my mouth doesn’t work.

I think I’m pretty useless at a lot too, but I don’t mean for this to be a traumadump thingy, which I also don’t realise when I should stop or not like RIGHT NOW I SHOULD PROBABLY STOP (the doubt is real, I’m so sorry—)

LAST THING!

I’m a Jing Yuan simp, obviously, name and all, but I also firmly believe we wouldn’t be good together? Like he’d be great for me. But what would I bring to him? Besides messy thoughts and nothing?… Which is literally nothing. I want to be someone he could properly rely on and not just a hopeless random girlypop who stops processing information after something becomes a bit too much mentally.

I have my serious moments, which will for most part go unnoticed online, but it’s not like I’m inherently useful or whatever. I think Jing yuan needs someone who can keep him entertained, someone that can talk to him, he's a lonely man believe it or not, he doesn't really interact much with plp other than Yanqing, and between you and me Yanqing is boring af

So he'll greatly appreciate having a small birdie on his shoulder that will tell him all that they think , after hours of doing general work all he would need is to have someone talk to him about some casual stuff and random thoughts, yk?

I also think he would turn to you in case of a crisis, sometimes just come home to you and lay down to cuddle with you, it comforts him somewhat, youre like his stress reliever, hes usually very reserved and calm with other people, but with you..it's so different

To him you're like a fresh breath of air, like just a slap to the face to wake him up, you keep him from going freaking insane

I don't think Jing yuan is usually fit for people with a personality of like blade or Dan Heng (just an example of personality I am no shipper nor anti shipper don't shoot me)

Like ...yeah I guess they can be friends but like...Jing yuan wouldn't click with them? I don't know how to explain it but jing yuan needs someone lively and like all over the place, so he can take time to slowly organize you and your thoughts in his mind.
