#glorious londo

Tumblr media
One of the smartest things I’ve ever heard about Babylon 5 and Londo’s arc is that Morden chooses Londo to work with because what Londo wants is inherently unachievable. He wants the Centauri Empire reformed and he wants it “all back the way it was.” But the nature of empire is that it was never the way its nostalgia merchants think it was; it was always a little shabbier, a little weaker, a little worse.
The glorious empire Londo pictures never existed and can never exist, and so he will always want more and more and more, always believing that his goal is just one more deal with the devil away.

B5 first watch on the rewatch, "The Parliament of Dreams"
This was a fun episode! My B5 friend cackled that this was up my alley, and indeed a showcasing of cultures is that. I actually liked both storylines. Now I get what you all meant about the aides - poor Ko'dath! I guessed it was a makeup issue (the bane of all modern sci-fi!), but Na'toth won me over very quickly. G'Kar is such a drama king, it's hilarious; but I mean, look at all of the Narn! Ok, lol, the Centauri aren't far from that and neither are the Minbari. Londo's inner nature is a feast table; sounds about right!
We finally get to meet Lennier, about whom I know only a meme that goes "If you want to kill me, please do it quickly, I've got tons of work"? Seems to check out? Lennier quickly goes into Delenn's steel grip ("Look up. I don't need an aide who will be forever walking into things." - not an exact quote, but man, is this a good Delenn line!) and goes quiet. FOR NOW. Me to my friend: "of the ambassadors, is it only Delenn that does not sleep with literally everyone on the station?" Him: "Well, Strazhinsky is a big Tolkien fan. And specifically Delenn is Luthien." Me: wat. I guess we'll have to wait and see? There's another name I vaguely remember out of context: John Sheridan or something? Sinclair's story line is just "no ex-wives are contained within it: the TV show." It gave me Disco Elysium vibes, which explains the dialogue. :P The assassin with his bookkeeper glasses! Comedy gold! And so is Na'toth just beating the crap out of the idiot she's been trying to protect, and enjoying it more than a little. Also, I hear you folks (B5 team) also got an Emmy for the makeup in this episode? "Also" as in "the Emmy team sure does like their lizards, huh? Narn, are you the grown-up salamander babies from VOY?" The two giddy Narn as they ferry the assassin out are glorious. Those two look like kids who got their hands on A PILE of ice cream. :P "Have a pleasant flight!" Minbari "jokes" about accidentally marrying people are indeed very elvish. :P I was honestly thinking Sinclair was going to do a showcasing of space exploration as humanity's dream. But no, we go into theology instead (starting with atheism, ha). There are a lot of things wrong with the line - for some reason it assumes the religions are the same as in contemporaneity, etc - but it legit surprised me.

B5 s03e09 Point of No Return table of contents • previous chapter
Londo demonstrating some politic thinking and also
"Intelligence has nothing to do with politics!"
True and depressing. Poor Vir. Is he getting that nap or not? The Emperor's third wife, Lady Morella is coming for a visit!
President Clark just pulled a coup! Fired the senate, arrested a bunch of them.
"Everything's gone to hell, John. God help us all; you're on your own."
How promising!
The communications blackout of Babylon 5 is an incredibly intelligent move. Removes the possibilities of moles. Or at least makes the moles' tasks harder. Reduces misinformation. Clarifies chain of command on Babylon 5 and distances Earth.
A General Hague has gone rogue and wants to do a counter strike, but needs to gather military allies. And he's Sheridan's contact in the military. He might be coming near Babylon 5. dun dun!
Zack Allen is pushing back a little tiny bit against the Nightwatch guy calling a meeting tonight. hooray *waves world's tiniest "you only collaborated a medium amount" flag*
Lady Morella, the Centauri is a seer, and Londo reeeallly wants her to visit so he can ask her about the future, and to assure him he's made the right choice.
But as a seer, she seems pretty surprised at the unusual circumstances she's walked into. No pomp, no ceremony, no Earth officials to greet her.
Sheridan and Babylon 5 are getting their official orders from the President's staff. And they're terrible. All of Sheridan's security staff must be Nightwatch.
Meanwhile, Zealous Nightwatch Guy is giving a terrible speech.
"From this moment...Babylon 5 belongs to the nightwatch."
Please let them overthrow the nightwatch this episode. Extended spying and counter-intelligence sounds stressful.
G'Kar, who is free three weeks early, thanks to Garibaldi preferring to assign his security staff to more useful activities than guarding G'Kar in prison, has plot! His allies stand ready, and G'Kar has plans, it seems!
Zack Allen. is failing his moral checkpoints again. He's trying to convince nightwatch people from resigning from the nightwatch. Garibaldi is going to physically fight them, right as Lady Morella is about to take her tour with Londo! Should be fun.
Ah, Lady Morella is the widow of the late Emperor. The one who died and told Londo with his last words that they were basically doomed, and Londo unfaithfully repeated as the empire will be glorious or something.
Will this, finally, be a turning point for Londo? He wants to see if he has any choices left, and if they're worth choosing. And Lady Morella has agreed to give him a reading! Exciting.
Jerry Doyle just gave Zack Allen a speech! And now he's giving the nightwatch a speech, but they're not buying it like Zack Allen, who seemed to waver a bit. fucking Zack is the new security head. laaaaaame. He's so laaaame.
G'Kar is all into transformative meditations to turn himself into a calm being right now. The telepathy drug experience did a number on him. Gave him a fervor with a directed clarity. Ta'Lon is not impressed.
Humanity is the key, and G'Kar and others will turn the key. And on the other side is "salvation for all of us."
Sheridan, stop going along with this. Just go overthrow the nightwatch. Garibaldi will be working it from one end, to be sure.
Londo!! The audacity! He took Lady Morella's arm and tried to stop her from going to where she was going (to see the human breaking news). General Hague the rogue general has had a daring escape and the nightwatch broke up the cheering crowd. Cue citizens vs nightwatch brawl!
Great work putting Sheridan's calm announcement of martial law over the brawl. With Zack Allen standing uselessly by as nightwatch fascists beat civilians with batons.
Dr Franklin thinks that going along with the orders will help buy enough time for General Hague to gather allies, the Senate to reconvene, and "beat this whole thing."
Sheridan's attention to detail and rules-lawyering is coming into play! The orders he got came from "the political office" but Sheridan is only obliged to obey orders from the Commander-in-Chief. Which is the President Wanna-Be-Dictator. So his orders would be bad. But the orders didn't come from him, they came from "the political office."
Lady Morella had a vision while doing Vir's hair! It appeared to be Londo, old, and slumped on a throne-like ornate chair.
Zack Allen is reporting that Babylon 5 staff are bringing a ship of Narns in to replace the nightwatch. I wonder if this is a play. I'm hoping that Sheridan et al is running a play on him and the nightwatch. Because if they decided to trust in his moral fiber, they're bound to be sadly disappointed. He's cosmically bound to always make the worst choice.
G'Kar has a plan, and plea to his Narn network. Can't wait to see how that plays out.
John Sheridan is getting ready for something Very Srsly. And he's already up and ready to go when his alarm went off at 2:30 am so I'm taking it as proof of the Sheridan et al are playing the nightwatch theory. Zack could be acting shady because he's in on it, or...ope, he was in on it! What a dive out the gate. He landed on the right side at the eleventh hour. Now lovebomb him so he doesn't falter, I guess?
Sheridan's stalling, more or less per Franklin's advice. The information about the Narns was real! Sort of. The Narns were already on board! This must be G'Kar's plan blooming? Cool!
Londo has three opportunities to avoid the fire that awaits him at the end of his journey, and has already missed two. And a lot of other things I'll need to look up and copy at some point.
Lady Morella: "You will be Emperor. That part of your destiny cannot be avoided. You will also be emperor. Why are you laughing?" Vir: "I thought you were joking." Lady Morella: "We do not laugh in the face of prophecy, Vir."
ominous! And Vir will be Emperor, huh? That's wild. And Londo will be Emperor! That's interesting. He fails upwardly so hard he eventually lands in the hot seat he doesn't know he doesn't want, eh? I never knew that. Y'all are really good at keeping spoilers secret.
Oh dang!! She's sharing the lift with Ta'Lon, who smiles so politely at her! Adorable. She is not impressed in the slightest.
Yeah, G'Kar! He wants in. Sheridan playing dumb is honestly so disingenuous. Their anti-Shadow alliance has been so dismissive of the Narn and G'Kar, but they're literally the best allies the humans could be making right now. Because like Zack Allen, human earth command has been making all the worst decisions and backing the wrong ponies.
And now Londo doesn't trust Vir to not be trying to kill him all the time! Vir is hilarious teasing him about it. At least, I think he's teasing.
General Hague is in a bad way. Four out of five of his ships have been shot down and he's fleeing in the last one. Humanity's not making awesome decisions, ongoing. Well, the high political offices, anyway. I can't blame the future's citizens for their dystopia from my position in my dystopia too harshly.

oh that's a nice twist. that's one of Londo's finest moments. The hologram pacing while he lectures? Perfect. Pulls one set of enemies to kill another. AND HE FREES NARNS TO GET G'KAR TO GO THROUGH WITH IT. That's fucking style.
Not just killing an enemy, discrediting his whole house and removing all your opposition. Glorious.

Scenario Snippet: Cecilia getting put through her paces by Gwynevere~
Describe a scenario, accompanied with the words ‘Scenario Snippet’, and I’ll write a small snippet of my muse in that scenario!
Tumblr media
It is one thing to be summoned to Anor Londo, for whatever reason. It is a completely different matter when you are summoned to the sun princesses chambers by personal request! Cecila nervously tittered into the sun goddess room, and as the doors were pulled shut behind her, she had a very odd notion that she might be in danger. At least, it felt that way, until in the blink of an eye she was suddenly in the goddess own bed, her own clothes replaced with...with...these flowy white garments, just like the goddess herself! She felt open, exposed! And with Gwynevere's prodding, she admitted that she did not know what was going on.
"This is all so strange and odd. But....my lady, you are divine...in both body and soul, and I am afraid I cannot..." But Cecilia was silenced by a single one of the goddess' fingers. It seemed she had shrunk to human size to consort with the blonde. A blush formed on Cecilias face, and warmth spread throughout her body. She was...so aroused. She normally wouldn't consider even attempting something like this, but...well, she is Gwynevere. She'd be lying if she said that she hadn't thought about it. Cecilia let herself be silenced, and was drawn into Gwynevere's bosom with a nervous flush, rubbing her thighs together as her heartbeat quickened. This...can't really be happening, right?
--------------------
Tumblr media
Seven hours later, and Cecilia came again to the goddess' hands inside of her snatch. Cecilia's eyes rolled in the back of her head, and she fell back, hot, sweaty, and but still so so aroused! It wasn't enough, it couldn't be enough! She needed more, and the goddess wasn't satisfied either. Suddenly the goddess was on top of her, spreading her glorious womanhood for Cecilia to witness, barely able to see her face behind the goddess' massive tits. She lunged forward, licking and lapping at the goddess folds like the good slut she was. Her hands desperately grabbed and fondled Gwynevere's ass, all while tasting the sweet sweet nectar from below. She was in heaven. She was completely lost in the goddess' warmth and lust.
So much so that just by the goddess own words, she came again and again while never even touching the goddess, so that when the goddess thought it time to step it up a notch, she barely batted an eye when the goddess laid back and drew her leg over her head, exposing herself. Cecilia latched onto her leg and started dryhumping the goddess, grinding her pussy against Gwynevere's own in a show of tribadism. "Fuh, more~" Cecilia moaned, eyes clouded over in a haze. "Feel more!"
So the sun goddess obliged. As the night went on, Cecilia was given all sorts of boons and blessings, and was fucked in so many ways by the goddess. Sometimes others were brought in to fuck her with Gwynevere, but it didn't matter. Cecilia was loving every depraved second of it. Her thoughts only consisted of how hot and lustful the goddess was, and how she wanted to be just like her. To have such a gorgeous body, to be the object of every man and woman's desire! To be a symbol of fertility! With her face buried in Gwynevere's chest, suckling her own teat while Gwynevere materialized dicks to fuck both of Cecilia's holes, the goddess bore Cecilia's head from her breast and kissed her, long and deep. Cecilia couldn't take it anymore. She came and came and came and felt like her entire mind slipped into the fog as she was enraptured in a nice, bright light.
---------
By the morning of Cecilia was passed out on Gwynevere's chest, completely and utterly used up. But Gwynevere didn't mind. She was just happy she had found a new acolyte to play with. Perhaps this one...could serve as her priestess? She'd need some work yes, but she had the drive and talent to do so...yes, Gwynevere would keep this one around. She was such a cutie, after all.

14. which muse has the most aus or verses? 19. for each muse, is there a character you wish had a blog so you could interact with them? [also hi! *waves]
MULTIMUSE QUESTIONS !!!
14. which muse has the most aus or verses?
caius and aline are tied, I think ( 6 each ) !! but aline would win if I counted a private verse I used to have. I’m counting a current ‘private-ish’ verse already to tie them. both come from ancient times when I used to try and write verses to account for the main fandoms I’d be likely to write. now I don’t bother so much!
19. for each muse, is there a character you wish had a blog so you could interact with them?
for each? like i have to go through all of them? jeez… I’m gonna leave out my ocs, for obvious reasons. though I would give anything for someone to write andrew from aurora’s backstory for me. also leaving my dw muses off because they’re super low activity atm.
Caius: I would die for someone to write virgilia or volumnia for me  ( denisa, nisa, I’m looking at you two ). or aufidius. I’d take aufidius too. Cami: Vincent. Enough said.Jim: I want a spock to write an au verse to match jim’s. a friend nearly did when I first made jim’s blog way back ages ago, but then they kinda… disappeared and we never got to write the thing. Delenn: sheridan, for obvious reasons. Also draal and neroon. and lennier! I almost want to say I want someone to write sinclair because he and delenn are THE most important to me, but also sinclair is very special to me and I would like to keep him all to myself. I’d be too critical of other portrayals, I think. Sinclair: I moved him to his own blog but shhh… I need a garibaldi again. I had one and then they left. but also marcus. I had one of those too but they’re not around anymore :( but also sheridan because reasons.

Goretober Day 2-Puppet
Tumblr media
Fandom: Dark Souls III
Part 2 of 31
Read on AO3 here
"When Aldrich ruminated on the fading of the fire, it inspired visions of a coming age of the deep sea. He knew the path would be arduous, but he had no fear. He would devour the gods himself."
-Soul of Aldrich
---------------
High above the kingdom of Lothric, secluded in the ancient halls of the old Gods, Aldrich the Devourer took in the end of the world.
He knew it would come to this. Long before he became a Lord of Cinder, he had dreamt of the oncoming darkness. It did not matter how many laid down their lives in service of the primordial First Flame; all fires were destined to go out eventually, and all of their sacrifices, including his own martyrdom, would be for nothing.
His only consolation now was that, in its own desperation to continue burning, the Flame had deemed it necessary to resurrect him. While he had once despaired in the loss of witnessing the glorious oncoming Deep, now he was given a second chance, and he would not waste it by playing the part the world has bestowed on him. No, this time he would take his rightful place as a Lord of this Age of the Deep. In order to accomplish this, his holiest of missions, he would need immeasurable power. And he knew just what to do: he would devour the Gods themselves.
Aldrich loved to take his time with his victims. The arcane power of the many souls that animated his seeping, maggot-ridden flesh had blessed him with another gift: he could slow his victim’s deaths, sustaining them on his life essence as he devoured them like a snake. He relished in their screams of agony, their shudders of pain. If he focused, he was even able to tap into their emotions, taking in their suffering like a fine wine.
He did not realize how much more exquisite a God would taste. The anguish, finely aged over the countless years, was the sweetest thing he’d consumed in ages.
As he devoured his prey, the youngest son of the great Lord Gwyn, he dreamed of all the Dark Sun had seen. If Aldrich had any pity in his heart, he would have felt for the Dark Sun Gwyndolin, a silent shadow in his father’s grand plan. A God born not with the affinity of the sun, as the rest of his family, but bathed in the light of the moon, frail and malformed in contrast to the rest of his siblings.
He saw the dissolvement of his family: his elder brother, lost even to history due to his great sin; his father, so devoted to his bygone Age of Fire that he made himself a part of the cycle, only a hollowed shell left behind; the rest of his family, fleeing the holy city of Anor Londo as the Fire continued to fade, even after their patriarch’s sacrifice, leaving only Gwyndolin behind.
But it seemed that Gwyn had seen fit to make the youngest of his brood a cog in the machine of his endless Age of Fire. Even as the power faded from Anor Londo, Gwyndolin had played his part. Tempting in countless Undead with the promise of Gwynevere’s favor, of everlasting glory if they were able to reignite the First Flame, the Dark Sun dutifully followed his Lord father’s final orders. A regiment of talented warriors were at his beck and call, ready to dole out divine vengeance to anyone that discovered the truth: that humanity were mere kindling to keep the line of Gwyn in power.
For this, Aldrich would gladly prolong his suffering, keeping Gwyndolin alive as long as possible. He had been cruelly robbed of his beautiful Deep, thrown into the First Flame without a care to keep the world turning. Now that he had refused to do it a second time, he knew more Cursed Undead would come. It seemed only fitting that the great Gwyndolin would now serve as the obstacle in their way, protecting him from the accursed Fire.
Gwyn had made the world his puppet; it served him right that his line should return the favor.

I’ve said this idek how many times before, but Ornstein really had no respect, whatsoever, for like 90% of Anor Londo’s nobility and their manipulative sycophanty.
He observed the protocol because... ofc he did, he wouldn’t act like a savage. But he always had that intense disapproving disposition about them, making it crystal clear that they could all drop dead and he wouldn’t give a single shit lol.
He never spent more time than it was strictly needed with any of those people. Did them no favours either, unless Gwyn himself ordered it. His stance was just: go about your days doing... whatever it is that you lot do, AND MAKE SURE YOU NEVER WASTE MY TIME.
He could get away with it because Anor Londo was an extremely militarised society; its power and wealth built upon a world-changing war. A realm ruled by a warrior god-king, who bestowed more trust upon his glorious knights than any noble folk.
The only people he ever gave the “privilege” of his sympathy were those who shared his fondness for the fine arts. Although, that was also relative and a case to case situation.

my mum and i have been rewatching babylon 5 and every episode she is like heart eyes over g'kar. she said an interesting thing tho that she finds londo to be a sadder character because he's a bad person and knows he's a bad person but continues to do bad things despite having the opportunity to do otherwise and also being quite capable of being good if he wanted to (you had all the opportunity in the galaxy not to suck, londo). whereas g'kar is, despite a capacity for being bad (which, i stan scheming g'kar tbh) is like, actually fundamentally a good person with good intentions who is struggling for something that is actually worthwhile rather than just 'ooh let's build the shitty empire and be shitty again :)'
and tbh i think this is a big part of why they made such different choices when given the 'what do you want' question. londo is a very sad and empty person and all he really has is his dreams of the glorious past. g'kar has narn and dreams of the future

S01E03: Born to the Purple
Ah, classic sci-fi half-naked waitresses and cut-out clothes on a pseudo-belly-dancer performed by white women. Of course this is the type of place Londo Mollari likes to hang out.
Nice, Londo. Feeeee-males. Very Quarkian.
Ko D’Ath, Spots’ new diplomatic attaché. I like her and her disgusted looks at the strip joint. And her flinging gross men! Yes please! I, too, would like to throw PUA asshats across the room with one arm.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*claps wildly* this is glorious 🤩
Look, Londo, if you get in bed with a random entertainer waiting for you in your quarters, you’re not responsible enough to be an ambassador. Londo. Ya dumb.
Wait, wait. Male Centauri have a mane of hair and female Centauri have a fuckin ponytail? A horsetail, if you will? I...I have no further commentary at this time.
Does anyone know this Centauri woman is a slave? Is slavery allowed in any of these four main societies or on Babylon 5? Someone please murder the hell out of this slaver.
“mind probe,” that’s a mascara stick, lmao.
I dunno if I can handle any more horse-related cultural/physiological Centauri facts. Her dress seriously looks like an equestrian outfit and I just cannot handle it!
Also cannot tell if Mollari knows that this nameless slave woman is a slave. Do Centauri have institutional slavery? There’s definitely some sort of bias against her that she’s worried about, but I can’t parse if slavery is legal here. (but of course the privileged, wealthy man is less concerned about breaking a societal taboo than the disenfranchised person)
No Talia, don’t date Sinclair. Date Susan.
Adira, finally a name for this woman. And if one single hair on her hair gets harmed, or she suffers a single consequence for being sex trafficked and enslaved I will be seriously displeased.
Lotta people capable of throwing other people with one hand in this episode.
HAH Trakis is going to try to team up with Londo against Adira? That’s definitely going to go well.
I’m glad Adira has someone helping her flee.
FUCK, slavery is legal under Centauri law. Alright Adira, burn down the republic, it’s too corrupt to exist.
Londo, you’d better be mad because slavery is evil and you’ve just realised that, not because Adira, who is enslaved, isn’t licking your boots.
Ko D’ath! Do give away the homeworld, but not to the Centauri. They’re slavers.
At least Londo cares if Adira is harmed. I gotta know what the deal is with slavery in this time. Do the other species know? Do the humans? Are they knowingly allying with and supporting slaving species?
I’m a sucker for a tragic backstory and am loving how much tragedy is in Susan Ivanova’s. I’ve got a feeling she’s going to disembowel Garibaldi for seeing her in a vulnerable moment. edit - wait, Susan was the one making the unauthorized gold call. I see now. Weird that she couldn’t just talk to her dad. Also, don’t date Garibaldi, Susan. Date Talia.
It’s interesting to me that Earth requires that all human telepaths be registered/imprisoned/drugged, but they also pay their fees. Is the psi corps some kind of private corporation? It’s starting to sound like a contracted business that has a total monopoly over human telepathy.
Londo, being less of a creep and more of a genuine person than I expected. And confirmation that slavery is well known in this universe. And apparently condoned on Babylon 5? Gross. Real gross.
K Londo, nice to give her fancy jewelry to sell to support herself in her new life as a free woman.
Still not over the fucking centaurs having fucking manes and tails. Can’t decide if it’s hilarious or not. Do they grow that way as a secondary sex characteristic, or do they intentionally groom (heh) themselves in adherence to a societal standard?
Next!

I really, truly ADORE Anor Londo. It is by far my favourite area in Dark Souls, both for its layout and lore. Enemies are few and far between but when they do show up they are goliaths clad in the finest armour of old. Each enemy encounter feels like a duel as opposed to hacking and slashing away at raggedy hollows and deformed beasts. There's something so epic in the implications here. That these are old rusted knights bound to their solemn duty decades, perhaps even centuries after this place has been abandoned. It's also such an open and spacious area that really allows you to relax and take your time to just absorb that warm, glorious sun beaming against the marble floors. Oh, and let us not forget that all this is merely a facade- a city of illusions! Hand-crafted by trans wifey, the Dark Sun Gwyndolin. The more I think of all the different characters: Gwynevere, the darkmoon knightess, Gwyndolin, the giant blacksmith and yes, even Ornstein and Smough, I get this tremendous feeling of loss from thinking.... Who were you? What did Gwyn think of you? Were you loved, hated feared, or... discarded, unknown?
Yet, with all that said. Why did they put Solaire's summon sign there.

[...i finally at least TRIED to make these lmao;
DARK SOULS
Laurence is a young man living in Anor Londo, one of the highest ranks members of the Blades of the Dark Moon and one of the few people still lurking around the city of the Gods ; once simply a high priest of Gwyn, despite his vague disdain towards the ruler because of his unspoken hatred for Seath, with the years spent in solitude between the illusionary walls of what was once a glorious land he ended up becoming an Undead, still serving his Dark Sun with upmost loyalty. However, just as the scaleless Dragon he hates so much, he’s prone to make little experiments as well, albeit not as inhumane as Seath’s are; most of them are about Pyromancy, kept secret to most, in a desperate hope to be able to stop the Flame from extinguishing itself...
GAMEPLAY TALK
LOCATION: Anor Londo, outside the door where Ornstein and Smough are. Will spawn only after their battle.
DROPS: Prototype of the Pyromancer Ring
FRIENDLY ROUTE: openly talks to the Chosen Undead only if they have committed no Sin and before Gwynevere’s illusion is killed; sells Miracles and allows them to join the Covenant, trasporting them into worlds where a player is invaded to aid them in combat, giving many Souls in return
NEUTRAL ROUTE: If the Chosen Undead committed a Sin or Gynevere is killed, Laurence will still trasport them to other worlds for saving invaded players, but won’t allow them to join the Covenant and won’t give extra Souls once they return to Anor Londo; other than that, he’ll clearly be far more snappy and sarcastic when speaking to him
AGGRESSIVE ROUTE: Laurence attacks the Chosen Undead on sight if they defeated Gwyndolin, using Miracles and a long sword to battle. Once defeated, he drops a Ring to make Pyromancy stronger
DARK SOULS III
Laurence never liked Sulyvhan, and liked him even less when he became Gwyndolyn’s right hand man despite all the years spent in the ruins of Anor Londo. Openly jealous and angry, he pushed himself even more in his studies of the Flame, to the point that he didn’t even realize Sulyvahn’s plans until it was too late. Filled with nothing but grief and guilt, Laurence lead as many people as he could - admidetly, not enough - outside what would become Irythill, clashing blades with the Pontiff in one last desperate attempt to avenge Gwyndolin’s death just to be dragged away from the battlefield once he lost his left arm and the sight on his left eye after having part of his face burned down. He still does all he could to save some more prisoners thanks to nothing but his improved Pyromancy skills, but everyday he feels moving closer and closer to Hollowness.
GAMEPLAY TALK
LOCATION: the Profaned Capital, near the first Bonfire.
DROPS: Cursed Pyromancer Ring
BEFORE THE FIGHT WITH ALDRICH: Laurence won’t speak much, merely telling you to kill Aldrich and Sulyvhan at all costs. He will sell high levels Cursed Pyromancy (high fire DMG in exchange of using HP)
AFTER ALDRICH D I E D: Laurence is finally surprised the Ashen One put an end to that monster’s reign, and finally moves to the Firelink Shrine, ironically enough by Aldrich’ throne - not to pay respect to it, but to Gwyndolin, begging for forgiveness for leaving his Dark Sun behind. After that he can be found outside teh Firelink Shrine, turned Hollow.
