I don’t mean to rush you but you’re taking a really long time to get back to the comics.

Nah, you're absolutely right. This past year has been pretty hectic, if the lack of posting has proved anything. xx; Lots of stuff happening irl, as well as some pretty bad depressive episodes. Trying to draw had become very stressful for me, since nothing was turning out how I wanted it to. Algorithms and lack of feedback across all of my active sites had also killed a lot of the joy I had making things. It's something a lot of artists struggle with, I know, but it was just making me particularly bitter and I needed a break. Anyone who reached out to me during this past year via DM's or asks with words of encouragement: thank you. ❤️ Even if I didn't respond, I did read and the words meant so much to me.

I want to try to get back into this year after we move later this month. Gabi and I are moving closer to my family in the state over, and hopefully my spark will come back once we're in a better place. :) I'm actually pretty excited once the dust of everything settles.

Just be a bit more patient with me, guys. I'll be back. 💕

Aw, I don't mind explaining what happened! I'm thankfully on the road to recovery!

So I've had a few rough months dealing with other, more complicated health issues that have basically placed me in constant pain and almost chronic fatigue. Finally those "issues" were beginning to wear off and finally stopped sometime last week. Not even the next day, I began to get a constant pain in one of my back teeth.

It got so bad I couldn't sleep for two days straight and no amount of pain medication (pills, gels, ice compression) would help. On Saturday night, breaking down and shaking, I drove myself to the ER. After a three hour wait, I finally saw someone and found out I had a super bad infection in one of my molars, to the point where the left side of my neck had swollen and it was difficult to breathe and swallow. So they gave me some extremely powerful painkillers and antibiotics and sent me home.

Up until this morning, I had been completely bedridden, nearly comatose from the painkillers. I would wake every few hours to take my medication, get a fresh icepack, and maaaaaaybe try to eat a pinch of food, before going back to sleep. I had been so nauseous and dizzy that I couldn't really function in the times I were awake.

I managed to finally get to a dentist today and they yanked the criminal molar out. Despite being a bit sore, I am already feeling insanely better!! xx;; I'll be taking it easy for a little while until I'm fully healed, but that's basically what's been going on.

I appreciate all of the love and support everyone has sent me across all of our platforms. 💗 Thank you guys!
