Don't know how much you guys will care for it, but over at Youtube, a Youtuber by the name of Ice-Raptor has completed fantranslated playthroughs of Last Bible 1-3, Another Bible, Last Bible Special, and SMT Trading Card: Card Summoner, so you want to see any questions answered about these games, now's the perfect time to do so.
If it helps on when people ask you about obscure games in the SMT line, GameFAQs has a couple script translations for Ronde, BuffMaister has done playthroughs for Majin Tensei 1 + 2, and Seth Bop has done a playthrough for Giten Megami Tensei for you to look up answers when needed.
Thanks for looking out, but it would maybe be for the best if people simply didn't come to me for answers regarding games that I haven't played lol. Not that it happens very often, but I'm just no longer invested enough in the series to do independent research on titles that I consider too tedious to experience firsthand.
These are all fantastic resources, though, and the Giten playthrough seems especially valuable. I'll post the links below so that I can point back to this post as a potential resource; thanks for bringing them to my attention.
Ice-Raptor:
Another Bible
Last Bible Special
Card Summoner
Buffmaister:
Majin Tensei
Majin Tensei II: Spiral Nemesis
レトロゲーム部屋/Retro Game Room (Playlist compiled by Seth Bop):
Giten Megami Tensei
Ronde:
English Script by ShibaMaster
Game Script by staticnation
I am in awe of the fact there are two competing translations of the Ronde script.

hi, do you still have the smt: tokyo revelation/apocalypse drama cd? it might be worth uploading to youtube, because even though its so obscure it could maybe get some attention that way. i would offer to translate it, but sadly the most i could personally do is put it into an audio transcriber software and machine translate it line by line. if you aren't interested, that's totally fine. i just found out about the OVA and it's *so weird*, and then there's its minor connection to giten megami tensei through kojiro's younger brother (really random). anyway i hope you have a nice day regardless!
Hi there, I do still have it. I'm concerned about copyright strikes though naturally. I had worked on the team that translated the Persona Sin & Punishment Manga and helped with a couple chapters and we were hit with a cease and desist right near the end, luckily another group was able to complete the last 2 or 3 chapters I'm not sure.
That said. I just want to take this opportunity to elaborate on the canon of the Tokyo Revelation subseries and let everyone know that it's actually part of the SMT 1/2/NINE/IMAGINE timeline. The anime version of Tokyo Revelation is set just before the nukes happen in SMT 1, and then Giten is some time post-nukes. I knew the games coincided with eachother but it wasn't till last year I learned that its confirmed that it specifically says how the titles align with eachother. That said I think it's funny that between TR and Giten there's not much connection aside from Sanshirou. Akita Kobayashi is actually one of my favourite Megami Tensei characters so it's sad he or Kojiro were never really brought up again. I still would love to play Giten even if it looks kind of not fun and a bit hideous haha. The final scene in the anime was breathtaking though and I'd love to speak on it in more detail if I'm ever given th chance.

Should we even consider Last Bible Special an official game to the Megami Tensei franchise, or should we treat it like Giten Megami Tensei seeing that it wasn't developer by Atlus. Sure Sega now owns Atlus who also published LBS, but the games feels really different from both Last Bible and the other Megaten series.
I don't see why not. Last Bible is Last Bible (i.e., it's a dead series that's really of least concern to the franchise as a whole).

Shin Megami Tensei Game List
Circe here! Okay, I finished reading the Unofficial Shin Megami Tensei Guide, so I sat down and put together a complete list of all the games. Rather than listing them chronologically, I’ve decided to sort them into tiers based on the difficulty in acquiring and playing them. Ultimately I’m going to be playing these games in any order I want, and weeding out any games that prove unfeasible to play. Also, just because an official release exists doesn’t mean I’m committed to using it, it just means I won’t let issues with fan patches or the like stop me if I run into issues. With that said, let’s get started.
A Tier - No Problems
These games are known to be available in English, and there's no reason not to play them.
Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne
Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey
Shin Megami Tensei IV
Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse
Persona
Persona 2: Innocent Sin
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment
Persona 3
Persona 4
Persona 5
Persona Q
Persona Q2
Persona 4 Arena
Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers
Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army
Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon
Digital Devil Saga
Digital Devil Saga 2
Tokyo Mirage Sessions
Devil Survivor
Devil Survivor 2
Last Bible
Devil Children Light/Dark
B Tier - Some Assembly Required
These games are only available in English via fan translation. I don't anticipate issues playing them, but there's always the possibility of running into problems with unofficial patches.
Megami Tensei
Megami Tensei II
Shin Megami Tensei
Shin Megami Tensei II
Shin Megami Tensei If...
Shin Megami Tensei Synchronicity Prologue
Majin Tensei
Majin Tensei II
Last Bible II
Last Bible III
Last Bible Special
Another Bible
C Tier - Obscure
These games are on consoles I'm not entirely sure I can emulate/acquire. I'll probably be able to get it figured out though.
Persona: Dancing All Night (Yes, the Vita and PS4 aren't technically obscure, but I don't own them and I am not buying them just to play the Persona dancing games)
Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight
Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight
Jack Bros.
D Tier - Japanese
These games have never been translated into English, officially or unofficially. Uhh...mmmaybe?
Giten Megami Tensei
Shin Megami Tensei NINE
Devil Summoner
Ronde
Devil Children Red/Black/White
Devil Children Fire/Ice
Devil Children: Puzzle de Call!
Devil Children: Messiahliser
Shin Megami Tensei Trading Card: Card Summoner
F Tier
Stands for "Fuck mobile games and MMOs". Mostly not available in any form now anyway.
Shin Megami Tensei Imagine
Shin Megami Tensei Dx2 Imagine

The Megaten wiki is annoying because even though it's not very good, it's also the main/only source of information for about 95% of the franchise for most of the western fandom. Like I legitimately think that the only reason anyone knows anything about weirdass spinoffs like Giten Megami Tensei and Last Bible is because of the wiki.
Yes, and prior to the wiki the primary source of information was the original Hardcore Gaming 101 article. On the topic, I remember being wowed by this collection of sprite art when I first saw it:
But yeah, all the more need for the wiki to be as good as it can be. Part of the problem though I think is that people who believe in this don't necessarily want to do it themselves (myself include).
