I've been trying to pinpoint something about Min Woo's sudden redemption and being pushed towards Soyeon that annoys me, and I finally figured it out. When they're having that 'Oh poor me breadwinner for my family', he's STILL calling Soyeon a Princess and being bitter about her dad being a judge. Not once in the drama, apart from the NK defector lady and even then it was pretty messy, has she used her background to her advantage. She doesn't push it into anyone's face and it's never really mentioned unless he's involved, so while it's a part of her it's not EVERYTHING about her?
You could also say that if he should have a chip on his shoulder with someone, it's Soyeon, but he chooses to focus his ire and resentment on Young Woo, who realistically he's more closer to in terms of background. So yeah, this sudden move to push Soyeon into his arms is a load of cobblers and I will not have it!

junho has such a big crush on youngwoo and I love that he's not trying to hide his affection or hold back from it - he actively likes her!! no passivity, no keeping distance, no restraining himself or anything like that with him, he likes her so he shows it. he is at his core a very empathic and kind person as we saw from their first meeting and general interactions he's had with other people so he was always going to be the kind of person making sure she feels at ease with him and it is literally his job to accompany her places and help her out and support her efforts (I love that he's not also a lawyer btw) but he is clearly making so many efforts for youngwoo and going out of his way to please her (because he!!! likes!!! her!!!). he did set boundaries with the whale talk (which was a healthy thing to do tbh) but in a way that made sure that they'd eat together for lunch everyday and when she left for a few days he tells her he missed her during lunch! geurami mentioned a date spot and he took her there (so even if he didn't present it as a date to her we know he knows it was romantic and that he wanted it - he was clearly surprised by geurami's boldness but didn't deny it ) and got her to talk about her feelings and not just about her special interest and he told her he wants her on his side, he wants someone like her. he lights up whenever she comes into a room or is mentioned, he is desperate to know she's okay once her friend shows up and he's worried about her mental wellbeing, he smiles at her even when she's not looking at his face, he counts on his fingers before they enter a room together because she does it too, he runs across the lobby to get to her and calls out her name before she's leaving, he always says "attorney/attorney woo with so much emotion, he gifts her things unprompted (the lamp was because he saw it and thought of her but there was no specific occasion - and he really should've left a note with it come on) and when that gift fails he's so sad and he looks like a sad puppy watching her leave but he doesn't give up he just finds another way that she can't miss and he literally brings her to tears with how good his second gift is!!! he was already the one person she could talk to about whale making him a safe and fun "space" at work but now he literally brought a whale (picture) in the office so that she can look at one (almost up to scale but without being an actual captive one which she would hate) so that she knows there's one in the office - and once again that was completely unprompted, he just knows she loves whales and he likes her so the reasons are enough to act and do something like this! it's all just so romantic I love it

Some thoughts on EAW Episodes 13 & 14
Tumblr media
Penning down some (incoherent) thoughts on Extraordinary Attorney Woo episodes 13 & 14 before I combust, focussing on Junho & Youngwoo's journey we've seen through these two episodes.
While everyone (including me, of course) is heartbroken at their separation (temporary, I believe), I think that it's a necessary step in their relationship. Rather than seeing it as taking a step back, I do think that it is vital in helping them to progress towards a more stable dynamic in the future.
There seems to be a substantial degree of miscommunication in the scenes we got to see this week. For Youngwoo, she is still plagued with self-doubt -- something that has and will be difficult for her to overcome given the mere fact that her self-doubt is a byproduct of how society/the people around her view her to be (and that those external factors are utterly difficult to change). And it's evident that she herself is starting to believe what people say of her too (that Junho's sister saying that she isn't good enough for him for various reasons, that Junho feels lonely when being with her because of her autism, and as a whole, that it's better for her not to be with him because she's nothing but a burden). It's evident that she believes all that, because she doesn't even bother bringing up her reason for the break up (that she overheard Junho's sister's words), because to her, his sister spoke the truth. And that, to me, was really difficult to stomach.
Another thing about Youngwoo: it's obvious that a great deal of her happiness is derived by proxy. She's happy when Junho is happy; she's happy when she sees Attorney Jung happily eating his noodles; she's happy when her friend Geurami is happy. And on the flipside, she's sad when the people around her are sad. Which is why I teared up at the scene of her phone call with her appa. Junho makes her happy, she KNOWS it, yet, she's doubting if the reverse is true. The one phrase that stood out to me goes something along the lines of 'the problem is me' -- honestly, Youngwoo-ya, I want to tell you that you AREN'T the problem. You have never been and will never be. Different isn't inferior; and who's to say what's normal anyway? The fact that you have ASD isn't a problem. The problem, sadly, is the prejudices people have formed against you. You are an innocent bystander in this case, you've been nothing but selfless and have been getting hurt as a result, and I'm so sorry for that.
As for Junho, perhaps he's viewing his relationship with Youngwoo with rose-tinted glasses (which isn't all that wrong or unexpected given that he's so in love with her). But at this point, he might still be thinking that they can overcome all odds no matter what people say or think of them. I guess, to a certain extent, that may be true. But the reality is that Youngwoo, though a strong independent woman in her own right, still gets affected by people's opinions especially in areas of her life which is unfamiliar territory for her (in this case, her romantic relationship with Junho). Mutual liking isn't quite enough in this relationship (though it is an important foundation); I believe that they have to work out all this nitty gritty details in order for their future to be more smooth sailing -- because, these situations will definitely crop up again, and they must know how to navigate around it. They probably can't change external factors (like people's opinions of them / her) easily, but hopefully they both grow to become stronger and more self assured that overcoming said circumstances will be more smooth sailing.
To add, I think the break up scene by the beach was so poignant. When Junho somewhat flared up when he said something like 'What about me? What about how I feel?' -- I think this was important to let Youngwoo become privy about the fact that Junho's opinion on all this is as important as hers. She may think that she's being a burden to him, but he obviously begs to differ. I wish they had communicated more openly here, but alas, no relationship is perfect with theirs being no exception, not to mention that their learning curve has been steeper than usual to begin with.
But having said all of that, their love for each other really runs deep. The way she looks at him like he's her source of sunshine, the way he looks at her like she's the most precious person, the way they make each other the happiest and luckiest people on the planet AND the way they BOTH lose that sparkle in their eyes when they aren't together anymore -- it takes a fool not to see how much they care for each other, genuinely, sincerely, pure and untainted. That it isn't just another fleeting romance or case of sympathy, it's a relationship for the long haul. It's about them building each other up, growing together, learning together, and being there for each other every step of the way no matter what life throws at them.
Which is why, I have confidence that Attorney Jung's words to Junho is a foreshadowing of what's to come; that he will hold onto Youngwoo tighter than before and not let her-- them-- slip through his fingers. Because I believe that when he does reflect on what happened, he'll have an inkling of what had crossed Youngwoo's mind that led her to the break up.
So yes. I adore them both. And I think that how their relationship has played out in eps 13 & 14 are not random or out of character. But having said that I'm still crying over their separation ARGH IT HURTS SO BAD REGARDLESS!!!
I love you both my sun and sunflower please only be happy 🌻🌞

post episode 10 ficlet, continuation of the scene outside junho's apartment
It turned out that Youngwoo really liked kissing. Like, a lot. Way more than Junho had anticipated. After the handholding fiasco, he had quietly resigned himself to a chaste and delicate courtship, and possibly entire life, because he knew that nothing short of the end of the world would stop his feelings for Youngwoo—even if she never so much as kissed his cheek.
He had never been so happy to be wrong.
Breathless, he pulled away from Youngwoo, reactivating the porch light. She was breathing harder than he was, lips shiny with spit and looking as flushed as he felt.
“Whoa,” Junho said, softly. Youngwoo’s lips quirked into a smile and she brought her hands up and down in a familiar motion.
“Whoa, whoa?” she said, half a question. Junho chuckled and copied her.
“Maybe we should slow down,” he said. She took a moment to consider that, then nodded.
“I think so. Geurami says we shouldn’t have sex until our third date at least. Seeing as how we’re not even properly boyfriend and girlfriend yet, we should slow down for now.”
Junho choked on an inhale. “Sex?”
Youngwoo cocked her head. “Yes. I assumed you would want to have sex with me at some point. Am I wrong?”
“Well—well, no, you’re not,” Junho said. Damnit, why was he blushing? “It’s just… I didn’t know you thought about things like that.”
“I do,” she said simply.
“Oh. Okay.”
“Do you?”
“Ah—” All the time. Constantly. Sometimes I can’t breathe for how much I want you. “Yeah, sometimes,” he settled on.
“Good,” she said, looking pleased. “You will have to teach me some things, though, like you did with kissing.”
A thought struck Junho and he took a shuffling step towards her, careful not to reach for her hand like he wanted to.
“Was that your first kiss?” he asked cautiously.
Youngwoo made a humming sound. “No,” she said. “A boy in high school kissed me. It was a dare from his friends. They all laughed while he kissed me, then he pushed me on the ground.”
“That’s horrible,” Junho said, aghast. Youngwoo nodded her agreement but continued on.
“Geurami said it was ‘bullshit’ that a jerk like him stole my first kiss, so she kissed me, too. She was much better at it than he was. It was much more pleasant. His lips were rough and tasted bad, but hers were soft and sweet. I think she used chapstick. Would you use chapstick before we kiss sometimes?”
“Uh,” Junho said, caught off-guard by the amount of information dumped on him. “Yes?”
"I would prefer that.”
Cautiously, he asked, “Attorney Woo, do you like women?”
Another considering sound from Youngwoo. “I don’t know. I think so. I hardly knew what it felt like to like someone before you, but I think if you were a woman, I would still like you. And kissing Geurami was nice. She kisses me sometimes when she’s drunk and I don’t mind.”
She paused while Junho absorbed this. “Of course, now that I like you, she won’t kiss me anymore.”
“I wasn’t worried about that,” Junho said faintly.
“Good. I would like to kiss you again.”
“Now?”
“Yes.”
And who was he to say no to that?

1) Geurami and Youngwoo’s friendship is goals honestly. Loved the breakfast scene between them.
2) Suyeon once again proved to be a great friend and human-being. I’m so happy she called out Minwoo to his face and exposed him in front of Myeongsuk, and then of course her loudly pointing out the ableism of the whole situation in public (which, Youngwoo literally didn’t get an internship while everyone else did because of her autism and this guy still has the audacity to screech about nepotism??). I’m also glad she told Youngwoo about Minwoo so she’s aware of how he has ill intentions towards her, which came in handy later.
3) Omg the umbrella/competition scene killed me XD. I love the humour in this show; it doesn’t try too hard, but it’s so hilarious. Poor Myeongsuk keeps having to sing though hahaha.
4) Minwoo cannot be redeemed at this point. This bitch is not even apologetic about what he did. He went on to call Youngwoo “shameless” when he’s the one who doesn’t have any shame for his ableist jealous petty underhanded behaviour. I’m glad Youngwoo called him out and stood up for herself, but the way he went on to just falsely guilt her again 🤬🤬🤬. He needs to go where he belongs: the trash. And he should also crack a dictionary open and learn the definition of nepotism.
5) I’m actually glad they didn’t drag out the mom subplot (in general, this show is great at not dragging out plotlines and I love that). The full backstory did clear up quite a few things, like how Youngwoo knew about being abandoned despite the whole widow story. I’m also happy to know that Youngwoo wasn’t abandoned because of her autism in particular and that she knows that.
In regards to the dad, I’m glad they talked it out and I’m so happy Youngwoo reassured him that he’s a good parent (of course, she had to have her whale moment after that and kick him out 😂). Her sticking by his side was also heartwarming to see. There are a lot of kids in situations like this that favour the absent parent and abandon the one who was always there for them (which I really don’t get), so it’s good to see Youngwoo isn’t one of them.
6) I love Myeongsuk for being very understanding of/patient with Youngwoo and not getting angry at her for breaking social norms. He guides her by pointing out the proper etiquette gently.
7) I’m surprised Junho didn’t bring up the article, but man, it was good to know what happened at the end of that scene (also, have they not been having lunch together since it didn’t seem like they talked since that night??).
The way Youngwoo went on to just confess so casually!!! I’m obsessed. Junho was totally about to as well but that dude just had to run away at that moment (that was another hilarious scene lmao but did he really have to interrupt)...
8) Youngwoo quoting her dad @ the judge (+ mom) 😂😂😂. She’s so savage.
9) Youngwoo calling out her mom 🔥. You go girl. She’s so brave for having this conversation and making her stance. Again, I’m so happy she didn’t abandon her dad.
Ugh, now we gotta wait a whole ass week for the next episode 😭.

Hi Kay! What are the EAW WIPs you currently have!! Hahahaha gosh, the brainrot is so bad for me too, that I currently keep having ideas pop into my head at random times LOL
hi 💙💙 okay so i have an unhealthy amount of EAW WIPs i seriously have a problem help. all of these will most likely be one shots (or very short multichap fics). in no particular order here they are:
kwon minwoo and the horrible, terrible, very bad, no good day: i think we all need a fic where minwoo gets 👊 a few times. i can’t believe he didn’t react more to finding out junho is dating youngwoo he’s literally so obsessed so i’m writing a little fix-it fic where he gets the karma that’s coming for him.
loving you is like the ocean (it goes for miles in all directions): youngwoo is sad that she can’t go on her yearly whale watching trip because she’s pregnant so junho + the rest of her protection squad decide to bring the ocean to her instead (aka they quite literally turn the nursery into an underwater oasis). quite literally just pure married whale couple fluff with a heavy dash of the found family trope
i had the time of my life (fighting dragons with you): geurami + youngwoo centric fic because their friendships gives me so much joy. the simplest summary would be ‘the three times guerami smacked a bitch for youngwoo & the one time youngwoo smacked a bitch for geurami’
untitled: junho meets youngwoo’s dad. yes it’s awkward and hilarious and oddly wholesome bc i’m saying no to toxicity
touch me like you do: youngwoo and junho show each other *exactly* how they like to be touched 😳
everything will be alright (if you keep me next to you): suyeon + youngwoo centric fic set during law school. i know we probably won’t get a flashback of it so i wanted to explore their dynamic in the early days
untitled: i’m combining two different prompts from the same person (youngwoo jealous & junho getting in to an accident) because. cannot do pure angst for these two nope no thank you
why break up?: our whale couple is going to say peace out to that kdrama curse on their jeju island trip and actually communicate 🥰 miss geurami said ‘besties just use your words it’s that simply’
untitled: post ‘conflict’ fic where our lovable dorks express how they feel and maybe kiss a little 🥺 (this one will hopefully go up sometime today)
untitled: youngwoo catches guerami watching a very spicy drama and makes the execute decision to try it out for herself
untitled: no thoughts head empty just a bunch of short little drabbles of all the different kisses youngwoo and junho share
hold me close: aka junho has a bad day so youngwoo offers to be his personal hug chair
we’re dancing around the kitchen in the refrigerator light: youngwoo + junho decide to skip out on the traditional first dance during their reception (too loud and busy !!!) so instead they waltz together in the middle of the night…yes in the refrigerator light <3
untitled: youngwoo + junho beach wedding!! except it’s really just a small gathering & very non stressful & relaxed. + their proposal too because 🥺 they <3
untitled: youngwoo + junho honeymoon shenanigans listen i have multiple fics planned in the ‘whale couple wedding cinematic universe’
untitled: junho finds out youngwoo fell down the stairs…worried junho has me weak (@akuyuukai i told you i was going to do this 👀)
untitled: youngwoo quits hanbada and works to work with ryu jae-sook. not at all angsty because she makes the decision on her own. i just need more women supporting women and youngwoo flourishing professionally
listen i was not kidding when i said the eaw brain rot was real. this drama has me by the throat ajdjsjd and these are technically not even *all* of my WIPs. these are just the ones that i’m actively writing right now. yeah perhaps i do have a problem 😬

Youngwoo literally skipping down the block, becoming a full time employee, seeing all her favourite whale friends in the sky, conquering the rotating doors and then meeting with Junho?!??? What a goddamn banger ending.
I too am feeling a sense of fulfilment Youngwoo!!
What a great ending. We were on rocky terrain for a while and they reached for the tried and true drama tropes. And you kept being left uncomfortable because all the people Hanbada was representing weren’t people you could easily sympathise with. But it made for some compelling storytelling, if the fandom riots were any indication at the absolute fear people had about how EAW was gonna end. Haven’t watched 2521 but I hear y’all are scarred. I had no such trauma so I was more judging it for the fact that it did try to cram a lot into the final hour. And maybe they had the inside track on getting S2, but I believe the first season, first book, first book should always be a contained story in its own right
I think this was. Yes the Minwoo storyline is not complete in terms of him making up for his past sins and whether or not Atty Jung returns to Hanbada is up in the air. But I think that EAW S1 had a solid through line and ended quite well and completed the story of Youngwoo’s first 6 months as an attorney with her becoming a full time employee.
I look forward to s2. If Kang Tae Oh isn’t there bc of his military deployment, then yknow what they can wait. Bc otherwise there’s no point.
Park Eunbin is a stellar actress. Great ensemble cast. Kang Kiyoung is best boy. I hope to see Geurami find the person of her dreams and move on from Minwoo. Still kinda hoping Suyeon does the same but idk if that’s the vibe atm.
But anyway. V good Kdrama. Some flaws to be sure and content matter is complex and steeped in real world politics and intricacies but delivered very well I think?

I am SHAAAAKING in anger right now...like wtf was that episode. It doesn't make sense, none of it. I know we still have 3 episodes left BUT, episode 13 felt like such a slap in the face.
The miscommunication between jun-ho and youngwoo. It was just...left.
The forced 'blossoming relationship' between su-yeon and minwoo (which I REBUKE,my queen deserves better)
Don't even get me started on my king attorney Jung, I hate that they're putting him through pain.
Get ready, cause this is me ranting and it's gonna be long!
Junho and Youngwoo
Clearly, Junho was still a little upset at Youngwoo because of the whole 'we never said we were dating so we're not dating' convo that happened in ep 12, and I was full on expecting them to hash it out and come to some kind of resolve, but that just didn't happen. Instead we were slapped with a 2 second mention of what happened and then Youngwoo got hit with an inlaw meet up, like wtf. I had to replay the scene again just in case I missed anything. I would say that he is still just in love with her as ever, but something about they're relationship feels strange now, and there is soooo much that doesn't make sense like, Junho is such a great guy, and through the first half of this show I kept thinking 'wow, so he comes from a family that accepts people for who they are and are non-judgemental, how brilliant' and then we meet his sister, who passes judgement and prejudice, she didn't even get to know Youngwoo properly, she just took one look at her and already had it in her mind that she couldn't make junho happy. And that thing she said about how their parents would faint if they found out about her,it had my heart squeezing with anxiety and sadness and I felt soooo bad for our Youngwoo. I am still trying to be optimistic about our whale couple, and I get that there will be challenges in this relationship like the writer said there will be, but with only 3 episodes left, I don't know how things are gonna turn out, especially when they had the chance (multiple chances) to clear the air this episode and blatantly chose not too.
2. Choi Suyeon and Kwon Minwoo romance plot
NO!! ok NOOOO!!! Look, that moment he had with his surprised Pikachu face in ep 9 is something I can look past because let's be real, we all reacted the same way, even Youngwoo turned half lesbian when she saw her but this...this is just not ok. I would've been good with it had Minwoo had his redemption arc in earlier episodes, but it just feels too rushed and sloppy now. What!? We're supposed to sympathize with him all of a sudden because his parents have health problems and he's got too be the breadwinner for his family? like, it sucks that his parents are unwell, but that still doesn't excuse the behaviour he has displayed towards Youngwoo and the things he is still ACTIVELY trying to do. And they wanna throw Su Yeon in the middle of it? Our girl has been through enough!! I won't say anymore about this other than I hope this is just a subplot where Suyeon finds out about what he plans to do and derails his plans. Extra points if Geurami somehow finds out also and they stomp him together, bit of a reach but, if the latest episode has taught us anything, it's to expect the unexpected.
3. Attorney Jung
It was touching albeit heartbreaking to see a glimpse of his married life, as soon as they got to that old noodle place and he started talking fondly about it, I knew there had to be something else, the smile he had on his face while explaining the noodles to everyone, it felt like warm familiarity. Even though his storyline is heavy with sadness and pain, I love how he fully embraced the trip to Jeju. Choosing to ride in the drop top with Geurami and hairy boss at the bafflement of his colleagues, telling everyone that he just wants to hang out with them and enjoy food and drinks, promptly slamming their laptops down and making a mess of Youngwoo's papers(that made me laugh out loud and fall in love with him even more😂) even though he knows this is still work, he's making the most and best of it, and I couldn't be happier for him. The end made me cry for obvious reasons, I'm sooo scared for him. Imma throw hands if anything tragic happens to him.
Anyways, those were my 3 major concerns. I know there's a lot more to unpack but my brain is still trying to recover atm😂
Sidenote: Geurami and hairy boss were the dopamine we all needed to make it through.
And thank you for coming to my Ted talk😊

SPOILERS FOR EAW EPISODE 14
If they pull the WE LET EACH OTHER GO TO AVOID HURTING EACH OTHER.
Or he stays by her side as a friend bs especially with that talk he had with attorney Jung. Like it better not be some sacrificial agape love bs.
Then I would say;
FUCK THE WRITERS AND CREATIVES BEHIND THE SHOW.
Junho and Youngwoo are fine They are going to have to make mistakes, learn and grow just like every other romantic relationship. They are good for each other. Theirs isnt a typical romance and they knew,we knew there would be challenges from the get go.
Fine, ngl, I love me some angst. THIS TEMPORARY BREAK UP plot better something that gets them both to be stronger and realize how good they for each other. This pain that they are going through, difficult as it is is necessary for them to navigate the future together.
They cannot end because of the prejudice against them. I know it's real. Even with people watching the show. Recall how a lot of people were so adamant that Junho was just being nice. They had millions of reasons but I still call out the hypocrisy that if the titular character was "normal",lots of the anti romance plot people would've been with fine it.
One person shared a theory with me yesterday, saying that Young woo was never invested in the relationship as much as Junho. That yes while she liked him alot and he was definitely someone she is comfortable with, dating him didn't mean anything different to her. That it was mostly the talks from Geurami that fit her curious. And so the break up with him isn't going to hurt her as much. She'll just go back to being herself and Junho will probably move on but still be there for her.
Like what the fuck? Excuse me? Pardon??
You're telling me that miss woo "you're the first person I wanted to see again again or you are in my head just like whales "(or something like that) young woo wasn't into it the relationship as much as Junho? Her telling him she likes him that her heartbeat accelerated even when she hasn't touched him. The same woman that watched him through the office blinds and blushed so bad when they held hands through the window. Are we watching the same show? And that uneccesary comment about Geurami? Acting like Young woo wasn't blushing when she was talking about her man?
They also brought up that young woo and Junho still address each other in polite form, rather than a romantic or even casual way means that there is a barrier. The show creators left that for a reason to hint that they won't progress.
Funny I didn't see that same reaction or theory when Dr. Winter was calling her boyfriend Professor Garden, Professor.
I know that this show is not centered around romance. I'd love it (and my young woo) without it too. The reason why I think I and many others are rooting for it is because the representation that disabled people can be loved. And not just portraying them as these quirky characters.
And what is up with the whole min woo getting the ladies now?? Like I've said, I'm not against a Minwoo perspective or even redemption arc. Though I wish that was introduced a tad bit earlier but this writing seems rushed and sloppy.
Is this plot to get Suyeon and Geurami together? They find out what he did and the founder and co founder of the young woo protection squad kick his ass? And then they date? I'm telling you if it wasn't for homophobia, those two would be an item by now already.
On less depressing abd annoying updates,DADDY JUNG IS OKAYYYY. All the scares we had thinking he was gonna die.
This also gives me hope about our whale couple.. The creators just like messing with us. They was like y'all been too happy. We'll hurt you and be all SIKE! at the end. Not at the very end I hope. I want to see communication between two of them and being clear on how they move forward together. THEY BOTH NEED IT.
Anyways I'll end this rant by saying, why would you let prejudice win? That would be a stupid thing to do. Thank you for portraying the prejudice that is a very real thing that happend but if you have them not work out,it wouldn't make sense. People in real life with disabilities and/ or disabled partners probably deal with this shit. I think they don't need a tv show saying yeah it will never work out because society says so.

do yall be seeing junho's expressions? they take me out lmao. anyways, what another good episode god. i haven't felt like this for a show since 2521, im very happy about it. suyeon is just... 💖💖. the fact she even acknowledges her past actions/thoughts about yougnwoo too. shes not perfect but goddamn it she's growing, something minwoo is incapable of it seems and idk if i even want them to give him a 'redemption'. theres just gonna be people like him. not everyone is needed to be redeemed. just need junho to punch him :) ohhh the look he had when youngwoo said she liked him but then he couldnt tell her cus they got interrupted ahhh im dying. her running away from him, same girl same lmao. but ugh i teared up when she told her that you're my mom. the whole scene was so wow 🥺
fjfjdkdkf he's so so good!!!! and omg anon, i completely agree with you, like i haven't been this invested in a show (like the main plot + sub plots + all the relationships) like simply everything has me hook line and sinker 😭 and omg right?? like i had hope for suyeon since i saw her but the way they've written her character development like MY GOD, like she acknowledges where she was wrong to junho and to youngwoo herself and is striving to still grow and be there for youngwoo and i'm glad she's there to have youngwoo's back even from youngwoo herself 😭😭 and god yeah like i love good redemption arcs but he's just :/// a cartoonish villain atp idk how many people have to call him out before he realizes what a dick he is but as you said, some people never learn and i feel like he's just going to be that person, i honestly want geurami or suyeon to punch him tbh like either geurami gets over her crush and kicks him or suyeon has enough of his shit and smacks him like i'll take either :') RIGHT LIKE WHY DO U KEEP CUTTING THEIR ROMANCE OFF LIKE THIS LET THEM BE TOGETHER AND IN LOVE!!!!! god her scene with her mom made me so emotional and gave me so many mixed feelings (in a good way!!!!) and my god i love this show so much

The way I really thought episode 13 was misleading and every misunderstanding would be resolved in ep 14 🤡 I thought the writers pulled out a genius move but guess not... The thing is there are so many things they don't tell each other it's crazy, if geurami knew what minwoo had done to youngwoo there's no way she would like him or at least she would have wooped his ass, same goes for junho it seems like he doesn't know about his roommate being a piece of shit, also what's up with minwoo? He can't act all "nice" all of a sudden when the last time we saw him he was plotting against youngwoo. It seems like so many scenes are missing from in between it's driving me crazy, sorry for ranting but this drama was so good at first I'm just that much more disappointed I guess
we were clowned on SO HARD it’s not even funny. we thought they would subvert things but they didn’t. they just decided to throw every wack plot and random idea out there to see if it sticks (it didn’t…besides the thing between geurami/hairy boss…their little dynamic is the best thing to come out of the episodes).
no one in this drama can talk to each other or communicate…ironic considering most of them HAVE TO COMMUNICATE WELL FOR THEIR JOB (suyeon girlie use your critical thinking skills pls minwoo is trash).
geurami has been shown as someone who is not afraid to throw hands for youngwoo…so the fact that they made her crush on the man who regularly makes ableist comments is ??? no. not it. AND JUNHO TOO! like year he threw that basketball at minwoo but would he truly still be besties if he knew the extent of how bad minwoo is? the writing is so messy. you would think as much as minwoo ran his mouth junho would have heard him more than that one time. and you would think he would have said something. so either he’s clueless or knows but doesn’t think it ever went that far. it’s not even about junho swooping in to save youngwoo. if my ‘friend’ was acting like that (to anyone but especially to someone i love) bye i’m done
it DOES feel like there are so many missing scenes?? it’s infuriating?? i’m upset mostly about the thing with minwoo (& atty. jung) so the fact that they keep pushing it is annoying. how can you pair up minwoo with A LITERAL SPRING SUNSHINE. i’m all for morally ambiguous characters characters *if* they are well written but minwoo? poorly written. more fleshed out than in previous episodes but not enough
anon you can rant all you want i’m so ??? about this drama too. it sucks when you go from loving a drama to feeling ugh about it. i don’t want to get our hopes up just to be disappointed but…fingers crossed it doesn’t get any worse than it already has

!!! I am screaming, crying, shaking.
Okay, where to begin.
1) Geurami teaching Youngwoo to incorporate cham cham cham into her interrogation was so funny! That scene was so cute, especially when Geurami hinted that Junho likes Youngwoo and you could see from her reaction that Youngwoo is very pleased by the idea. The scene with the rude customer too was so funny (not the customer being a Karen, but the interaction with the dad).
2) Junho’s passive-aggressive reaction to Minwoo being an absolute trashbag, we stan. Although I wish he would have verbally reprimanded him too.
3) The car scene!!! It. Was. Sooo. Intense. And beautiful. And heartwarming. The acting was phenomenal. Taeoh is so good at expressing so much just with his face, it’s amazing. The way Junho managed to evade the question so smoothly was applaudable, but omg he’s so obviously in love, I’m screeching. It’s a shame Youngwoo can’t pick up on the fact that his answer is indicative of a yes, since if he didn’t like her that way, he could have just outright said it.
4) The dinner scene with Suyeon made my heart melt <3. It was sooo wholesome. I’m glad to see they’re becoming genuine friends, at least from Suyeon’s side since Youngwoo always thought of her positively. Youngwoo’s words were so kind and sincere.
5) I really liked this case as it showed the reality of the law system and it’s not realistic for Youngwoo’s every client to be the true victim. So I’m glad they addressed this topic.
6) The Taesan CEO! Is the mom! I’m sure of it, it was so heavily hinted at the end. So I guess Youngwoo’s mother didn’t actually pass away. The weird vibes with Seonyoung make sense now, since she definitely knows. Also, that scene in the preview of Youngwoo wondering if her mom wouldn’t have abandoned her if she was born a whale broke my heart :(
Can’t wait for tomorrow!
