I've been having some very strange trouble with my mech lately that I haven't been able to track down the source of. I was hoping you could help?
Also, just to get it out of the way, I do not have a Manticore. I don't know why everyone keeps asking me that. As far as I know, I've never even seen a HORUS frame outside of holos, and I certainly don't have any licenses for one. And yes, I have checked what licenses I'm recorded as owning just to make sure. I've checked three times, because people would not stop going on about it until I'd done it in front of them.
Now that that's cleared up, I pilot a custom quadrupedal Everest that's been refitted to have a small two-person apartment in it. That all went off fine, but ever since I decided to integrate a new laser directly into the chassis, the toilet's started flushing itself at seemingly random intervals, and about half the time when I fire it the kettle turns on.
Regards,
Brimstone
P.S.: Speaking of laser systems, my lancemate's NHP designed one for her, and she figured she could do the install herself, but she's really been struggling with it recently and doesn't want to admit to needing her help for it. Any advice on connecting a customised GMS supercell blaze generator to a standard HA torch emitter?
With regards to the first question: it seems like you've linked them directly to the same power source. When your laser vents heat or fires, it's overloading the other systems on the same circuit, and causing them to activate. You can solve this by giving the laser a direct reactor connection, rather than attaching it to the expansion port.
With regards to the second: She'll probably need to install a voltage converter, since the two components aren't made by the same manufacturer. It should be fairly easy to acquire one from GMS. Additionally, they're constructed from different polycarbons, so she'll need to use an adhesive rather than attempting to fuse or magnaweld them.

Hmm. Y'know, considering that @harrison-armory-official are keeping in proper touch with their customer-base, I'm surprised that Smith-Shimano Corpro, IPS-Northstar, or General Massive Systems haven't thrown together their own accounts to do likewise.
Superior By Design, right down to Public Relations and Customer Communication, eh?

Welcome to the Omninet blog of General Massive Systems! Feel free to ask any questions, complaints, or concerns about our line of the two most modular mechs in the entire galaxy, the Everest and the Sagarmartha! No two GMS suits are the same, and just as a mountain changes with the ages, so too does our marketing! As such, you won’t find any “standardized” chassis here—individuality is the core of GMS.

GMS is happy to announce that, for today only, we will be redistributing Chomolungma liscences to any applicants already in possession of Everest frames. Additionally, our askbox is now open

Has anyone moved their collection (dolls, furniture, clothing, all of it) recently (or ever)? I’m moving in the not-so-distant future, and it’ll be my first time moving since I’ve really started collecting - the last time I moved, my childhood AG/doll stuff was still boxed up at my parents’ house and I only moved one doll (Diana) and her little suitcase of clothes and accessories. I have exponentially more stuff now 😅 I still have plenty of time to plan it all out, but I can’t stop thinking about it. I don’t even have that large of a collection compared to some people, but the thought of trying to pack and move it all is so overwhelming!

not these AI obsessed futurists preaching how this is the time for actors and writers to start utilising AI more, how they can use AI to fight big studios and just digitally clone themselves using AI so they could appear in an infinite amount of episodes of a tv show or movies, churn out massive amounts of writing thanks to AI etc. - how this is the time for creatives to hand over the creative reigns to a machine that’s been taught on stolen art, writing and more.
how creativity, that makes us inherently human and separates us from other animal species on earth, should be given up to fight greedy studios and streaming platforms that already don’t give a shit about the people that make them rich

Howdy Doc, on anon bc I dunno if my Fireteam leader or my mech watch my blog
I recently got clearance to pilot my first frame, and got stuck with the one Everest in the hangar with a busted heat vent. She’s got a baby NHP in there for some reason, but neither of us have any idea how to patch up this thing.
Any tips for- A) Possibly using the vent’s damage as a weapon/resource; or B) fixin the damn thing on a budget?
Luckily the Everest is one of the most modular frames out there, so replacing the vents shouldn't be too difficult assuming you have access to the parts, but if you can't, try integrating a fuel rod cannon, which both cools the mech and serves as a weapon.

"Get in to modded minecraft" they say... "it'll be fun" they say... I just spent an hour adding an energy buffer to my RS system because I worry too much about it going down and now its literally never going to go down. I am not having a good time with it.
