For a little over a week now, I've been playing the game with a plogon that hides all players in the game (accursed hoard grinding is a Fuckton of menuing, and other people running around where the HoH npc is messes with my cursor and it was also distracting) Lately I've been wondering if existing in a literal dead game for a week (and probably for the next whole month it'll take to finish the achievement) is doing some subconscious damage to my mood (not helped by the assload of work and Everything Going Wrong already going on in my real life) lol

#more journaling #every day i log in to a ghost world and a barren aetheryte plaza to teleport to an empty deep dungeon entrance like maybe im being #conspiratorial but while i enjoy the quiet im also like. this probably isn't good for me.... but that's okay i can vegetable in front of th #npc and not think about irl for a few hours doing my boring task.. #i can feel myself slipping into a Spiral but being stuck in an infuriating limbo waiting for answers and having your chain yanked #and being put through the ringer with non answers and broken promises and communication refusals from friends who should know better!! #yeah idk putting myself in the most numbing awful grind in the game at the very least takes my mind off of that

Really at a Nothing To Smile About In My Life point the past few weeks i cannot lie. I work harder than ever pushing myself to wrist pain yet i can just never get anything done as fast as i want, constantly fighting a close friend because he puts himself in completely avoidable situations of being taken advantage of and denies those of us trying to help him. I just..feel like im letting everyone down idk! Dont know how, but that’s how i feel. Makes me wish i got into drinking or weed or something (I never did and never will because dad would be so sad) but man i wish i had something to numb low points like this. I just sit here and try to get something done and end up putting 3 lines down in 3 hours and then finally it is time to go to bed and hope my shitty short term memory makes me forget about everything for at least the first few hours after waking up the next morning. It usually does, but these things tend to crop up, again. Always 🥲

I don't really say my opinions on characters because I'm so OCpilled that my opinions are pretty lukewarm but I like Zenos... Cuz he's one of those characters where it's hard to feel Nothing about him, I only ever see people really like him or really hate his guts because he is a lot of things but he's not Boring yknow

#i giggle every time my sis and i talk about zenos bc she hates him but has to admit through gritted teeth that he's an Interesting character #which is funny because i like zenos just fine yet we both agree on everything about him lol

Hello! I just found your FFXIV artwork and my goodness I am in love with it, like aaa??? Those loose lines and just the style it reminds me of a storybook!! Its so lovely!! (also I love your WoL(?)'s name its so sweet)

Waaa thank you so much!! ;_; It means a lot that you would mention storybooks, kidlit illus was my dream career for the longest time since I was a teen... Never worked out in the end, but I still enjoy bringing aspects of that kind of art I used to draw and still love to this day into personal work :')

Don't know if I need to say this periodically, but a decent chunk of my posts here are journaling (I always put it under readmore and tagged with #more journaling so it can be blacklisted) Most of the journaling is about grieving, so not fun stuff, but I try to make it as easy as possible for people who follow for art to skip it

My switch is still packed up since several months ago, from when i gave it to dad to play. It was still early after his diagnosis so he could mostly still walk around, but he was tired all the time so i gave him my switch to play mario odyssey (mario was always special to us, it was one of the few game series he enjoyed and played with us). I was so excited for him to get to the new donk level, the really cool night time one, but he just…got sick so rapidly that after a month he insisted giving it back because he didn’t think he’d be able to handle it (because mario odyssey, you have to play it by swinging the joycons, and he was in so much pain he couldnt do that) And…it's sat in a bag ever since. I always think about taking it out, but i just dont know if i can without breaking down. It's the reason i never played totk or pokemon dlc or mario rpg remake, despite being fanatics of all these series. I dont know. maybe in a year i can manage it.

It’s something strange to bring a small bit of comfort to me, but for the first time, i did my taxes weeks early and did them myself. Every past year, I’d do them with dad’s supervision and help, because taxes feel so intimidating to do by yourself and with so much potential trouble if you do them wrong. But, i dont know. I’d like to think he’d be so happy to know i did them earlier than usual and did them myself. I’d just. Like to know that.

Tumblr is the only website I do not ever open my notifications or activity or w/e the lightning icon is, if I want to see interactions on a post I go to the post... Truly like a horse wearing blinders I am blissfully unaware of whatever else is happening on 95% of my posts...
