Winx Club Next-Gen Guide

This was something I originally meant to make back in 2019, but for some reason I never got around to it. I believe part of the reason was because I was going to introduce new characters in it, but I also never got around to thinking about them more or working on them till recently(with help from @littlechaoticwitch, since I lost most of my old notes).

Since I have more ideas for those characters now, I thought I would finally make this! :3 Just a simple post with everyone's essential information. I am currently in the process of updating everyone and will be introducing the new characters in time, but I still wanted to post this so you all can know about them now in the meantime. I hope you enjoy! :D

Just finished catching up with the Fiero legacy. I really like your gameplay. Is there anyones else’s you’d recommend? Also, how did you come up with rules for how it’d go? I’m on mobile so if there’s a resource page or faq, SORRY hehehe

Aww, thank you, I am glad you enjoyed it!! I'm hoping to get a bit more up this summer, although will probably be taking a break before I get to gen 3 to focus on other neighbourhoods for a bit.

I am not really playing with any hard-and-fast rules besides the basic stuff like "no money cheats" and "obligatory heir polls". Sims can move house when they feel like it, I use mods that make the game feel more fun to me (like Story Progression!), and I'll move in love interests/babydaddies etc. just based on whether I think it will make for a more interesting story. Mostly I am just playing based on following Sims wants, and a little bit of my own interpretation of their personality!

I do roll randomly for stuff like aspirations and traits, but reserve to right to re-roll if I get anything I think is really ill-fitting for that sim. Oh, and since in this neighbourhood I am not playing with ACR/risky woohoo, I roll a dice whenever sims woohoo to determine whether they should try for baby or not. xD I can't really think of any other rules I'm using, though there's probably a few informal ones that are just part of my gameplay style

For other gameplay blogs I'd reccommend, there's so many?? Are you interested in legacies specifically, or gameplay in general?? Some of my personal all-time favourites that I really love reading (and who are currently active):

@lesyasun has the most beautiful gameplay that inspires me so much! Her legacy/neighbourhood Hazelwood is lighter on "story" but the vibes are immaculate

@yakumtsaki's Union Legacy is one of my favourite legacies on Tumblr, her style is more comedic but it's a real joy to follow

@moocha-muses' "Owl Creek" neighbourhood started out as a legacy, and it's one of my favourite long-term hoods ever. Her sims are all so lovable

@episims' Foxfire Forrest neighbourhood isn't a legacy at all, but I love her style of writing so much, she breathes so much life into her sims, her gameplay style is also quite similar to mine

@simhealing has a fantastic uberhood I love following! Again not a legacy, but it's been a big influence on my gameplay and storytelling style

I am typically more into larger neighbourhoods than legacies so I don't actually keep up with that many of them, haha. There are a few other legacies I have been wanting to read, but it's always a bit daunting to me getting caught up on everything, especially if they've been going for a while! If anyone wants to put out some other recs in the comments, please do :D

I'll go a head and do one for Lucina/Noire and Alm and Celica but I'm going to refrain from Vel and Forrest <3 it has been a while but I did establish that Velouria in her verses is a cousin to Forrest and Siegbert because her mom is Camilla, so it would be really uncomfortable for me, sorry about that!

Name: Aerilyn

Gender: Female

General Appearance: She looks as beautiful as her mother, but she does have Alm's hair for sure.

Personality: She's quiet, and friendly. Aerilyn can make friends easy enough and enjoys being around other people.

Special Talents: She's gifted with a sword and magic.

Who they like better: I think she's close with Alm

Who they take after more: Celica

Personal Head canon: She's an only child, so her friends (other second gens of sov) are like her siblings.

Name: Primrose

Gender: Female

General Appearance: She does not look like either of her parents, but she has long teal blue hair and bright purple eyes.

Personality: She's shy and timid, but once you get through that she's kind and loves being around her friends.

Special Talents: She loves using the bow, sword is far too direct for her.

Who they like better: She admires Lucina 100%

Who they take after more: I feel she ends up taking after Noire more

Personal Head canon: She was adopted by the pair of them, her parents died in a small town from a house invasion.

By "winking of subtext between siblings" what do you mean ? The mistranslation of Eirika and Ephraim support makin creepy the simple act of patting the head of your young sister ? The whole Tellius deal with Micahiah and Sothe being canon despite having had a family bond ? The fact that Morgan and Kanna can marry all of their potential siblings ? The whole Rhea deal becaus people refuse to learn that organ donation and blood perfusion doesn't make you related ? The people worrying about Robin/Tiki and Tiki/Exalt because they all share Naga's blood ? The whole adopted sibling thing and the whole ex step- siblings deal in Fates making it unsure whether or not S support Kiragi, Shiro, Siegbert or Forrest is aunt/nephew or not especially as Corrin can be their mom while i Awakening Morgan could still marry Inigo, Brady and Owain even with Lucina as a mom and that Morgan could marry Lucina with one of those 3 as their dad ? Or the Veyle S support that is platonic in both jap and eng version ? or the twins whose support are romantic but are not Alear's siblings because they are born from different Sombron ?

Now i think that when it goes sibling territory, Instys makes sure that it's is not incest even if they use far fetched explanation but when it's cousin no problem because Japan and many societies are fine with it, hence Azurrin.

I feel like I have played enough FE games to say without the shadow of a doubt that even incest between siblings is seen and portrayed as negative * see Jugdral* and the others "incest" pairings are not actual one but just seems to play with the limits. In the twins cases, it depends entirely if you consider that Sombron and another Sombron are one and the same, when the game try to make it through your skulls that Sombron and another Sombron are not the same person. And the twins keeps it consistent, never making the mistake to call Sombron "father". There is only Veyle that made this mistake but Nel corrected it right away.

I feel the need to point out that it's all that and then some. The early Western fanbase was cracking jokes about Priscilla and Raven and the Renais twins back in the mid-2000s, and with Judgral the issue for potential remakes isn't so much Arvis/Deidre, which is clearly nonconsensual and a part of the villain's plot, but rather Lachesis/Eldigan, which gets eulogized in Gen 2 as a star-crossed love and which kicked off a lengthy tradition of teenage girls fawning over their brothers.

Cousin marriages are also potentially abundant in Gen 2, and those are another difficult matter as not everyone, not even in the West, considers them incestuous. To use some lazy wordplay - incest is relative.

Inauguration d’Espace Diffusion

Nous étions plusieurs invités sourires aux lèvres, hier soir à participer à l’inauguration d’Espace Diffusion et au dévoilement de sa programmation 2022/2023. Jadis le Théâtre Tournesol à Cowansville créé en 2002 est maintenant Espace Diffusion.

Il est dit, qu’il manque de relève! De jeunes entrepreneurs se sont mobilisées pour redonner une nouvelle vie au Théâtre des Tournesols. Ainsi, Espace Diffusion est maintenant sous la direction, pas d’un, ni de deux, mais de cinq jeunes entrepreneurs sachant bien user des forces de chacun, afin de remettre un nouveau souffle à cet établissement à faire rayonner les arts et de la culture dans la belle région de Brome-Missisquoi. Espace Diffusion est maintenant sous la bonne et jeune gouvernance de Mme Josiane Noiseux, M. Philippe Mercier, M. Adam Pearson, Édouard Lagacé et Marc Danis. Le Théâtre Tournesol, que dis-je, Espace Diffusion a eu une cure de rajeunissement. Des revitalisations ont été faites avec des nouvelles loges en arrière-scène ayant une entrée spécialement faite pour les artistes. Un nouveau hall d’entrée saura bien accueillir les invités et la section bar lounge est conviviale pour les rencontres avant spectacles et entractes. Nous pouvons palper l’effervescence des nouveaux propriétaires. Ils ont plusieurs initiatives en tête, afin de donner à la région de Brome-Missisquoi une salle de spectacle multifonction sachant répondre aux demandes du milieu et à tous les âges. Comme le mentionnais Mme Josiane Noiseux co-propriétaire d’Espace Diffusion, « Nous voulons débuter de façon sobre et s’ajuster au lieu d’avancer trop rapidement. » Cela dit comme vous pourrez le constater par la programmation ici-bas, les spectacles sont de marque et débuterons le 16 septembre 2022. SpotEv tentera d’avoir l’ensemble des spectacles, afin de vous informer des ajouts d’artistes et l’achat des billets directement.
