So for one, I’ve been hanging on to this because I was trying to get a good sampling of people and also because I was being a little lazy and forgetful. Anyways, on to the recommendations.

I have a lot more Eddie than I have other ones but that’s because he’s baby boy and the very specialist of them all.

@jo-harrington has Freaky Friday, Store Manger Verse, and an amazing Van Helsing (2003) AU that she’s working on that just blows me away with every new thing I read for it.

@storiesbyrhi Burning Yarrow series is DELICIOUS and is also super in depth and well researched and just ugh. It’s so good okay?

@dr-aculaaa who has a mixed bag of Eddie and Steve, but mostly Steven. Their Sunday Morning stuff is literally made of butter and cinnamon sugar it’s just so good.

@chestylarouxx has just so many things. So so so many. There’s a vampire Eddie that makes me go insane and then she has this Rockstar Eddie that is unlike any other Rockstar Eddie I’ve seen. It’s VERY good and VERY angsty and it just really hits the soul right.

@bettyfrommars has Nightmare Factory AND Gargoyle Eddie which makes me also go insane. I’m jumping around in my cage thinking about her work. She also has a biker Eddie series (that also features a biker Steve. Yum.)

@eddiemunsonbignaturals who wrote this disgustingly sexy piercing Eddie thing. If you read all my stuff and liked it, you will for sure like their work too. Like, I think about this fic at least once a week.

@deadboyfriendd Everything they’ve written but especially Cochise. Just go read it. Wild West. Eddie Munson.

@somnambulic-thing also has a vampire Eddie BUT THEY ALSO HAVE a musician Eddie who is the best boy. He’s so full of life and I also think about him whenever I listen to my psychedelic metal playlist for some reason.

For Gator things I haven’t personally found a whole bunch of writers but @wroteclassicaly has a nice little bathroom romp that she wrote a while ago before the show aired that I really like (also she has some little blurbs about him being an asshole).

This isn’t everyone because I would just give you a list of everyone I follow at this point. However these are a few of my favs and what I’ve been reading recently because I got a bad brain and it’s been hard to keep up with my TBR list. I hope you find something in this mess!!!!!!

We're going full on Cloud Meadow!

Monster Island Sanctuary Au (MIS) head cannons

You boss has hired you to take on the duties in his stead on his private island full of monsters.

His monster Sanctuary.

But when you got there the place is run down some monsters have escaped and roaming on the island.

Other than a salary you will also be given a home on the island

Like bull farm you'll be doing similar tasks in the sanctuary like a farmhand, but not all tasks are the same in some are a lot harder than others.

Very Cloud Meadow but you're by yourself on the island so there's a little bit of survival elements as you get your bearings repair the sanctuary.

Occasionally the person you work for, sends you a map and a list of new monsters to go find to put in the sanctuary. ( don't worry you'll be using his private boat)

Some characters are going to have different monsters species.

Ingo+Emmet will be staying as Bulls

Guzma = Minotaur

Cynthia= Dragon hybrid

Milo= Mandrake

Red and Blue= will be staying as dog boys

Steven = gargoyle

N=werewolf

Volo= Kitsune

Nanu=panther hybrid

Grimsley= Cat hybrid.

Raihan=naga

Leon= centaur.

Siebold=Selki

Between chatting with @ninjastormhawkkat @liloskull343 and a few peeps on discord I have a few ideas.

Blu's a wraith. Pretty friendly and bubbly. Was very sick as a toddler before she passed away. Loves to play hide and seek.

Chase is a clone child of Steven and amazo/Adam in this Au too. And also shares the same were mouse curse as steven .

Ruben takes more so after his mom, miss question in looks. Except when you look at him you can't look away. He's very shy tho and tends to hide.

Liam is pretty much half of both of his parents - imposter Angel miss power and amazing rope guy who is just a regular human. Also reclusive. Knows the world will end someday, just doesn't have the energy to care much

Beverly and Simon are Seymour's adopted kids. (He adopted them around 50 years ago and turned them into vampires) Simon is a lol gremlins and loves to play pranks on people. Bev is more relaxed and calm tho she does try risky stuff like seeing how long she can stand in the sun without bursting into flames.

Rhea is an ice gargoyle type monster (can't remember what rhyme and reason were in this Au so I took some liberties) still has ice powers tho more concentrated

Paperjam is basically flat stanely. Or at least a mini version of him. He got created by accident after a copy machine went haywire. He calls Beatrice mom and the butcher dad (they dont mind)

And here’s the Arisato siblings’ refs! These are both remakes of refs I had already done in 2019 (I redid Ham’s in 2020 though), but both of those are so ugly and outdated that I had to remake them.

Now for the info dumping

Hamuko’s a siren!

Her main ability is, of course, her singing, which hypnotizes anyone who listens to it to do whatever Hamuko wants them to do. Her singing can also put people to sleep

Can also imitate voices scarily well

She can shift into a human form and also a sort of mix of the two forms (where she has human legs but still has the other fins and stuff).

She can glow because bioluminescence is fucking cool (that’s what the second version of the ref is for)

Can manipulate water pretty much like Lapis Lazuli from steven universe, which includes making wings out of water that she can use to fly

I probably should’ve said this in the ref proper but her hair tie has pearl beads :>

Minato’s a gargoyle!

Can take on a human form (if you took a shot every time I said something along those lines on each ref you’d probably have like 7 shots or something idk)

Should probably go without saying that he can fly, those wings aren’t for nothing babey

Really strong

Can turn into a stone statue. It’s meant for camouflage/protection, but that little doodle in the fourth pic shows that he does it if he’s mad (but like jokingly mad)

Doesn’t need to eat food to survive (he still can eat, and likes to)

Can see in the dark
