My makeup from the ICONIC LUX Pole Cabaret show, done by yours truly 😘 I took the makeup look from the music video as inspiration, and then made it my own. Guess which ICONIC song danced to with this look 😁
And remember...I said it was an inspo pic, not a copy cat 🤪

Hot take but sometimes people need to remember that makeup brands are allowed to target a specific demographic and don't need to make products that work for everyone. This is specifically about Glossier and how I see people complain about how their products are light coverage. That is the entire point. They make light coverage makeup for people who just want a little touch-up that feels lightweight on the skin.
When I was a teenager and makeup youtube was huge, full coverage, matte, full glam makeup was all the rage, and most brands catered specifically to that trend. But I can't stand full coverage, full glam makeup on myself. Thick foundation and lots of layers of products are uncomfortable on my skin, and I frankly don't want to feel like I have to commit to a lengthy makeup routine.
I loved when makeup brands that catered to the "your skin but touched up" philosophy started popping up. I hate wearing foundation. All I want is a lightweight concealer that I can buff over some redness and my under eyes to soften my face. Glossier concealer is so lightweight that you don't need to worry about getting an exact color match because it doesn't draw attention to itself. I can use their products and still feel like myself.
So stop showing up everywhere complaining about how it doesn't cover your acne scarring. It's not a product made to do that. Heavy coverage defeats the entire purpose of the low-coverage niche that the brand targets. There are so many brands that offer exactly what you want, so stop acting like every niche brand needs to make a product that meets your specific needs.

I have added a before and after look of the drag race makeup. I would like you to admire the eyeshadow because it took me the longest time out of anything, and I didn't search for any makeup Inspiration, I just went for it.
