i am well aware that there is more than one person running for the democratic party in the presidential election but unless someone usurps biden in popularity (which i honestly kind of doubt will happen), people really need to understand that ultimately the election is going to result in one of three things:

1, democrats refuse to vote, therefore donald trump or another most likely equally as bad person will win

2, democrats split the vote between other canidates in the democratic party which results in none of the dem candidates getting enough votes to beat a Republican and the same outcome as 1 happens

or 3, democrats work together to vote for the most popular canidate (who i think will most likely be biden) and a democrat is elected

and im gonna be honest, if 1 happens im gonna start biting people. yall NEED to vote, voting is LITERALLY the most basic most liberal ass thing you can do as a leftist right now, and if you are refusing to vote right now im like actually mad at you, its really not that hard yet some people STILL dont wanna do as if NOT VOTING WASNT PART OF WHY TRUMP WAS ORIGINALLY ELECTED. I guess the thing that bothers me about some of the posts on here berating people about voting for Biden is that some of the people they are berating are people who have literally lost dozens of family members to this genocide and they still don't seem to understand why telling those people "yeah, Biden is aiding a genocide but you better still vote for him because Trump would be worse!" is hurtful and patronizing, or why those people then get angry.

I'm not going to tell you not to vote for Biden, I do understand the reasons why it feels like the only option, but please for god's sake think about what the words you are saying look like to someone who has watched this man enthusiastically fund the murder and starvation of their people for the last five months.

i think a lot of yall r misunderstanding what happened in that un warehouse in gaza. its not that the un wasnt giving out Any food at all, its that they were trying to give it out in an organized way, which is hard enough even w/out the threat of airstrikes. the people who broke into the warehouse did it because the frustration and desperation from going so long w/out any basic needs drove them to get it themselves. and this isnt something to blame on the palestinians. anyone faced w/ the same situation likely wouldv done the same thing. and its not quite right blaming the un either. im sure their system wasnt perfect, but nothing is when youv got so little supplies to hand out to so many people who need it. lets not forget that the un workers are risking their lives there as well. no, the blame lies soley on israel, as it always as. israel is the one who has cut gaza off from any and all supplies. israel is the one whos the most opposed to aid getting into the gaza. and theyr the ones who have dropped bombs on some of the few places that have gotten supplies.

yes, the un could do more. yes, the un is far from the best. but maybe dont go calling for one of the only organizations actually bringing aid into gaza to be disbanded just because u saw some angry tweets.
