in all seriousness it's very alienating knowing theres Something Wrong With You. like seeing your mental illness come through in your behaviour and thought processes and knowing it's irrational and unhealthy, knowing other people are reading you as weird or stupid, and not being able to do anything about it is such a lonely experience

god theres sooooo many shenanigans that have happened over the years but if we’re talking right now, then uh, here is a story in pictures involving a (justified) bad review for her album

the extremely normal fandom is trying to doxx and harass literally every member of staff they can find at this publication. they were also tweeting gifs of exploding buildings at them and saying “this will be ur hq” and yeah, its likely jokes, but they’re flying pretty close to an investigation there lmao

we still get immediately shoved out of our immersion in tv shows or films when The Girl find a dead body and immediately shrieks - we just don't find it realistic because we're pretty confident most people would gasp rather than shriek (i.e. sharp inhale rather than sharp exhale) and it also feels unnecessarily (and predictably) misogynistic too, as men encountering corpses almost never do the same on screen

also of course please do tell us if you've actually encountered a corpse unexpectedly, because tumblr is absolutely a place where some people have done this thing and we love a good anecdote

iv never been on tiktok but i really do think its inherently bad for listening to music cause a part of a song goes viral, everyone plays it in their videos, the algorithm forces these videos to keep being watched, and then u end up hating it cause uv heard it so many times. its one thing to listen to a song u love over and over on ur own accord but its another thing when even videos not relating to the song use it over and over so much that u cant escape it.

then of course people dont want to admit that they hate it just because theyv personally heard it so many times so they start acting pretentious and insulting everyone who does like it. tho this last part isnt solely a tiktok phenomenon
