Four years, passed away in a blink of an eye. This world showed me its true colours in my trying time. Who were supposed to stick with me through thick and thin, found a quick exit to avoid the mess. Four years, the hardest of my life. Heartbreak, betrayal, backstabbing, I got a taste of it all. Did somethings isn't proud of. I tried to follow after you, daddy, but I realised there were others needed me down below. Couldn't abandon my blood, like others did to me. Daddy, I will wait here for my time. My only regret, I didn't get to say my last goodbye, will never forgive myself for being in a rush. If I would have known, wouldn't have left even if world ended. Waiting for my time till I see you again, I will run into your arms and never let you go again.

Four years ago today I concluded my one month trip in Laos. It may have been a bit tainted by anxiety and traveling with the wrong person, but it is such an incredible country, that it helped me overcome it all. • • I hope to go back one day, for a chance to travel there without the bitter taste of anxiety and with the right person. Four years ago today. • Four years ago today I was in Vang Vieng, Laos. It is one of the most amazing, tranquil places I’ve ever been. We spent a whole week there, and it truly was great. • However, due to my anxiety and restlessness I had a hard time relaxing, despite the perfect surroundings. • At the time, it was filled with coffee shops and restaurants playing episodes of friends, and people lounging around drinking shakes and smoking. • I was going stir crazy from just watching others doing nothing. And as much as I wanted just to lounge around, I couldn’t. • I am an active person who needs to keep busy. And mixed with the anxiety, I just couldn’t enjoy the complete calmness of the place. • That being said, I would probably still go back there in a heartbeat. Although, I’ve heard it’s not the same anymore... • • • How about you? Do you enjoy lounging around on holidays?
