In Washington County, MD: Daisy- 4-year-old spayed female
Poor Daisy has had such bad luck over the holidays. She was brought to The Humane Society through no fault of her own when her owner was put into hospice care. This poor girl is understandably so stressed at the thought of being alone, as she has been returned to us twice. She is anxious when left alone, especially when in the crate, and loves to sing to your neighbors to announce her presence. She would love to be the only animal in a home where she can build confidence and trust after her difficult ordeal.
If you can help by giving a home, foster or rescue for Daisy, please contact:

Adoption magic
I was really counting on that adoption magic to prevail this week, but I’m an overly optimistic person.
I was able to see four of my puppies into the arms of their new families.

Seriously, I just like cartoons. I wanted to try more bold lineart and colors this time around, sometimes drawing in soft colors gets boring :p
Quite proud of this one, just saying.

In Baltimore City, MD: 4 y/o very trusting and cooperative sweetheart seeking rescue after likely being hit by a car - BARCS, Baltimore MD
- Rescue Needed -
Auburn- 4 years, unaltered female, 51lbs
4-year-old Auburn was brought to the shelter by a Good Samaritan after being found stumbling in the road, urinating, defecating, and having difficulty walking.
Once in our care, our vets quickly got to work examining and caring for Auburn. They noted that she was in shock and had absent proprioception in the hindlimbs. X-rays revealed a complete, comminuted, displaced fracture of the left pelvis. For now, she has been started on pain meds and strict crate rest, and a full medical summary can be provided upon request.
Despite what she's been through, Auburn has been incredibly trusting and cooperative with staff and handling so far, and has been doing well in her crate, too.
Auburn is currently on stray hold until 4/4, and due to her injuries, we are seeking rescue placement for her ASAP.
Please let us know if your organization can help!
Thank you,

hey dogblr. I'm currently fostering this stray dog from my neighborhood. Likely around a year old, she has great teeth. Got her up to date on vaccines, treated for intestinal parasites, heartworm negative and just got 6 month heartworm prevention shot.
Located in Mississippi but I can meet someone for the right home. Potty trained. Shes good on a leash and in a kennel but she is a chewer. Still a baby and could use some training.
She loves to snuggle and she carries around her blanket when we let her out of the kennel.
We've been calling her Poppy and we think she may be a lab/husky mix.
