If You Return to Sin After Being Delivered From It, Your Punishment Will Be Worse
2 Peter 2:20-22
[20]For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
[21]For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
[22]But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
To learn something is sinful and to turn and repent of it, but then return to that sin is like a dog returning to it's vomit. It's better not to know something is sinful than to learn it's sinful and return to it after God has delivered you. Don't return to your wickedness, no matter how hard it is to be righteous. Ask God and the Holy Spirit for strength to walk in rightstanding with Him and not fall weak to flesh.
I know we can't be sinless, I know it takes time to change your lifestyle from habits and wordly mindsets, but in the end there's no excuses for knowledgeably sinning than to admit selfishness, wickedness, and to know eternal punishment is the result of such ignorant defiance of the Lord. Prayers that I myself, the lost and unsaved, and other brothers and sisters in Christ, completely turn from sin and backsliding. No matter how much it "made us happy", "satisfied us", seemed "harmless" to our souls, or how "miserable" we feel without it. Firstly God is the only thing that can actually make us happy and anything else is deception by our flesh. Secondly, we should rather prefer misery and holy suffering in our temporary lives far more than anything that risks the reward of eternal suffering and damnation. You don't have to be happy, you just have to obey God's commands and be holy. Maybe choosing that will have God bless us with happiness we don't see coming until we're truly righteous. I pray we forsake feelings and emotions, and only act out of holiness righteousness and purity.

I can't remember if I've said it before but Blake would so body worship Bestie
He would make them feel fucking divine, the praise he would utter, the adoration in his voice, the lovesick devotion in his eyes...
Bestie (if they didn't already) would come to love their body, for every so called 'flaw' would just be another reason that they were unique, another reason that Blake loved them as much as he did.

My insignificant archeology gets me to the mysteries of the profound past, when the tiny light in the palm of my hand lights up the beginning of the world, like this.
"Go love this world," you said. Without knowing your name, similar to the way you breathe, the song of the Cretaceous rings out.
I asked if I could be born into this world, "Sure," you replied. The moment you chose me, I had chosen you, too.

I'm having Nod thoughts again:
Do you think Caine remembers how things really were?
He's doomed to walk the Earth eternally, lest he accept his actions as wrong and genuinely seek repentance for it, but how clearly do you think he remembers in Modern Nights? To my knowledge, I don't think it's ever explicitly implied or stated that he'd be exempt from the fact that memory is a fickle thing at the best of times, which is to say nothing for folks as long lived as the Cainites.
How much of what isn't muddied and blurred by emotion can he truly recall? Do you think he remembers the way Abel's face lit up when they'd joke around like brothers are want to do? The proud looks he must've gotten from Eve when he'd taken up gardening? The grief-stricken look Adam gave him before exiling him to the lands of Nod?
This is, of course, to say nothing of his time in Enoch and the squabbles his Grand-Childer got themselves into in the First City.
How can one truly, genuinely, repent if you can't even properly remember parse the events that have got you here in the first place after a certain amount of time has passed? A swirling miasma of emotions and trauma mudding the waters, diluting any chance at reconciliation. God In the WoD was never portrayed as infallible - [His] laundry list of fucks ups and overwhelming displays of neglect being more than enough to back up that point - but the more you delve into it, Caine's punishment seems more and more like an afterthought for something that had as many ramifications as it did. He never had a real shot at redemption, no matter how many emissaries [He] sent. Something something "the game was rigged from the start" something something

I just. I love eyrie and their twin bc eyrie owes him so much and they didn’t even ask for it. he spoke for them, was their only friend for a long time, understood what they meant; they took care of each other in the only ways siblings can. they were inseparable and the absence of each other is still such a heavy grief

Stop obsessing over whether or not you'll get what you want in this life. It doesn't matter either way. Just do what it takes to get into Heaven, and stop caring about this temporary life. It's nothing. Even if your wildest dreams come true, it's always going to be nothing. Obeying God is everything.

canon dnd devil lore is so utterly boring...
absolutely MIND-NUMBINGLY BORING (and racist) that anyone would write an entire race as just being purely evil in the first place, but what sense does it make that the bringers of justice after death would be pure evil??? chaotic, perhaps, for some of them, but entirely evil? no way
i will die on my hill of "alignments" between gods and devils being entirely based on what their "purpose" within the deity system is and the personality of the entity themselves and this being INFINITELY more interesting than "gods good and devils bad :)"

had a thought.
dawn lucas and barry are essentially the closest the world has gotten to a human existing among the ranks of legendary pokemon. theyre basically existing to protect the world, on top of being having direct ties to the lake trio. so if you think about it theyre like them.
all of sinnoh's legendaries have domains or have gifted a miracle to the world of pokemon. (dialga time, palkia space, lake trio willpower knowledge and emotion, cresselia dreams, etc)
the sinnoh trio would be no different.
and in the text books written long ago, the passages from their time in hisui states that the three children with qualities like the gods gifted the world love.
not like in a “the world suddenly knows how to love” but moreso the gift was THEIR love

Gotta admit, your bot rant intrigues me. I definetly agree with what you said and all but it makes curious, how you rewrite the bot plot to make it not as bad as it actually is given the choice? <:) (Also want to take this as oppurtunity to say I love your takes and art by the way!)
First Off: Omg Tysm That's So Sweet of You :]]]] 💕💕💕
Second Off: My Issue With the Bot Situation is I Feel It Squanders the Concept of Bot Being Based On Bow, a Person Who Did Exist and Also is Still Around. S3 Has Several People Who Knew Her, Her Miraculous Return From the Dead Should Raise a Couple of Eyebrows. I'm Not Crazy About Test Tube and Fan Making Her, I Feel Its a Odd They Did This When They Explicitly Learned Not to Project Their Feelings Onto Other Concious Beings Before, and Also I Simply Don't Think Either of Them are This Disrespectful. Both of Them Were on Marshmallow's Team, They (In Theory) Would Know How Much Bow Meant to Her.
S3 Keeps Gesturing At the Theme of a Show Being Dragged Out Long Past When It Should've Finished and I Think Bot Should Be a Thesis Character for This, and I Think the Weird Walkie Talkie Voice Should've Been Responsible for Her Existence. We Don't Know Anything About Walkie Talkie Because She Doesn't Do Anything, if She Did Make Bot That Would Make Sense With Her Whole Goal of Keeping ii Running and it Would Add Some Tension ans Complexity to the Series. How Did She Do This and Why? Are There Other People Involved? Isnt This Horribly Invasive? You Could Still Have Test Tube and Fan Adopt Bot or Whatever Idc But If She Was Made By a Shadowy Faceless Entity Using the Likeness of a Popular Dead Celebrity to Boost Ratings of a New TV Show That Would Say Something Right? There's a Statement Being Made Here, What's the Statement of Test Tube and Fan Making Bot Other Than "We Did Not Learn From the Egg Baby."
