Cautionary Tale: just because you’re kin to the Clan’s leader doesn’t mean you’re above everyone or everything else, especially not the warrior code
Story:
Moonkit was the runt of the nursery; she had no littermates and was constantly picked on because of her size.
Her father, Flintstar, hated her because he thought that Moonkit's size, a contrast to his own as a cat, was proof that his mate, Beetlespice, had cheated.
“That can’t be my kit!”
“Yes she is Flintstar! Why do you keep denying it?!”
“Look at its size! When I was a kit, I was not that small!”
“She’s a runt! She’ll grow, Flintstar! And stop calling her ‘It’! Your daughter has a name and it's Moonkit!”
“That’s no daughter of mine…”
When Moonkit’s eyes and ears opened she met a blue tortoiseshell she-cat named Bluekit. The two instantly became best friends.
Over the time in the nursery everyone else’s father came to visit them except for hers.
“Mama? Why doesn’t daddy ever come to visit us? Everyone else’s dad comes to visit them, why not us?” She had asked her mother.
Bettlespice had let out a deep sigh and turned to Moonkit with a forced smile. “It’s because he’s the leader of ThunderClan, so he’s very very busy.” “Oh” Moonkit replied.
When Moonpaw reached six moons, she was apprenticed to Deadfang, a mean, short-tempered senior warrior named after his chipped teeth. He was harsh to her, never giving her a break until she had perfected what he taught her.
"I’m tired, Deadfang, and all the other apprentices left ages ago! Can we please stop for the day?” Moonpaw had whimpered
“No! We’re not leaving until you get this move right now, do it again!” Deadfang yelled back.
By the time she finally learned how to swipe correctly, she was beyond exhausted and could barely stand on her paws, which forced Deadfang to carry her back to camp. Everyone in the apprentices' den started calling her spoiled because of that.
One night, Moonpaw went out for a walk and encountered a transparent black cat with hazel eyes.
“Who-who are you?” Moonpaw had asked, her pelt beginning to bristle.
“I am Icylark. I used to be a WindClan warrior long ago.”
“Are you a StarClan cat?” Moonpaw had asked.
“No, I am merely a ghost," Icylark told her.
“If you’re a ghost, how can I see and talk to you?” Moonpaw asked. The ghost just chuckled, “ That's a question you should ask your mother…” then he was gone before Moonpaw could question him further.
When Moonpaw passed her warrior assessment, she was named Moonsong and her best friend was called Bluecloud.
Moonsong finally asked her mother about her ability to see and talk to ghosts.
“Well, you see Moonsong..it all started with my great-great-great grandmother, Willowlake. She had the ability to talk to ghosts along with your great-great grandfather, Bubblestone, and my sister, Crystalpool. I guess the gift has passed on to you. All you need to know is that this is a gift from StarClan," Beetlespice had explained.
The same night, Moonsong heard yelling and sprang to help, but when she found the source, she saw her parents arguing. Not a pleasant sight, but a familiar one--so familiar that when the initial alarm at hearing raised voices settled, all interest in the dispute left her and she returned to her nest, completely unaware that she had just left her mother to die after coming so close to helping her.
Moonsong was devastated to learn that her mother was dead. She refused to eat, sleep, or bathe. Because of her poor health, she did not receive an apprentice, unlike Bluecloud, who became the mentor to a tom named Rockpaw.
One day, when Moonsong was walking alone, she saw a ghost. A very familiar ghost.
“M-mother? Is that you?” Moonsong had asked, not believing what she was seeing.
“Yes, my daughter, it is me. It is Beetlespice.”
“Mother! I missed you so much! But why are you a ghost? Shouldn’t you be in StarClan?” She had asked.
“Not yet," Beetlespice responded. "I need you to do something for me so I can pass on to StarClan.”
“Anything! What is it?” Moonsong asked excitedly.
“I need you to kill your father. Flintstar caused my death, not a rogue.” Beetlespice explained.
Moonsong's whole world was turned upside down before shattering into a dozen sharp pieces that stabbed into her. “I- I can’t believe it… father killed you? But why?!” Moonsong wailed.
“He was scared of your power. That’s all you need to know. Now please, my dear daughter, my death…” then she was gone.
With that information from her late mother, she got to work.
First, she lead Flintstar deep into ThunderClan territory alone after having manipulated a group of rogues and loners to come and attack the leader. They managed to take only two of his lives before retreating, but that was alright. He also had two left.
Following the attack, Flintstar was paranoid. He was constantly on edge, and so worried that he would lose his remaining lives, even in the camp, that he assigned Bluecloud as his bodyguard to be extra safe.
That is, until Bluecloud was mysteriously attacked and made to stay in the medicine den. Moonsong became his new bodyguard after that--she had pretended to help him fight the loners and rogues convincingly enough that he did not suspect her.
When Flintstar and Moonsong went hunting, Moonsong pretended to spot a fat rabbit and charged after it. Flintstar tried to follow, but his age slowed him down and he struggled to keep up. He was exhausted, panting, and didn't notice that the tree Moonsong had stopped behind had upturned roots and was leaning--
Moonsong pushes all her weight into it, and that last nudge was enough.
But the tree was small. It didn't squash Flintstar completely. He still had his final life left.
Flintstar struggled desperately to dig himself out, to no avail. He looked at the daughter he had rejected and begged her to help him.
Moonsong had responded by unsheathing her claws.
“This is for Beetlespice...” She stated in an emotionless voice as she dragged her claw across his throat, cutting it open and killing him instantly.
Moonsong was about to head back to camp, but when she turned, she was was face-to-face with the day patrol.
They immediately charged after her after witnessing her murder Flintstar.
Moonsong almost escaped, until she was cornered on the gorge and the large piece of the edge she was standing on gave out, and she was hanging on for dear life until she lost her grip and plummeted her death.
When she awoke, a Dark Forest greeted her.

I like to think that in the background of this AU, with Yellowfang still in ShadowClan under Raggedstar's rule, there's a lot of sniping between them. She doesn't respect him as a leader and he doesn't respect StarClan enough, and he showed how selfish he was when he tried to stop only Splinterkit being taken to the carrier ceremony.
It's not touched on as much but there are absolutely tensions between ShadowClan and ThunderClan, with Sunstar and Raggedstar butting heads. It's something that ThunderClan thinks might change when Flintfang is named deputy. He's fairly mild in comparison.
And yes in this AU Badgerfang very much survives and still gets to take his mentor's suffix <3 he also may become Flintstar's deputy in the future too.
But with ShadowClan, even though they're not as seen, they are very much there. With Raggedstar, they're antagonistic but in the background, the Thunderpath serves to separate them.
In chapter three, Splinterthorn will earn Yellowfang that as long as Raggedstar doesn't antagonise them, ThunderClan will leave them alone. Tigerclaw, as deputy, isn't interested in warring with them either.
But with WindClan driven out, ShadowClan also has to consider: RiverClan and ThunderClan have shown that they can and will work together to drive a whole Clan out of the territories. What if they turn on ShadowClan next?
Luckily for them, Lavenderwisp and Splinterthorn don't hate the entire Clan, just those in charge. It's only a matter of time before they turn their sights on murder, but not full Clan exile.

Warriors: Chronicles of the Four Clans
the prologue
The battle continued fiercely, a non-ending display of anger and determination. The warriors from Mudclan and Stormclan fought on, scratching and growling, their fur covered in mud and raindrops. This conflict wasn't about land; it was about their identities. Each Clan had established its place in this changing world.
Mudclan's warriors, solid and sturdy like the earth they called home, defiantly shouted as the rain soaked into their fur. They were born amidst swamps and marshes, with their lives intertwined with the squelching ground beneath their paws. The scent of soil filled their nostrils. They were no strangers to the taste of mud on their tongues. The land was as much a part of them as the beat of their own hearts.
On the other hand, Stormclan possessed silver-colored pelts that allowed them to move like swift winds. They were creatures with an unpredictable nature akin to thunderstorms above. Their territory consisted of peaks and sheer cliffs – a realm where only the strongest could flourish. Rainwater merely slid off their fur effortlessly while they skillfully used their agility to gain an advantage.
As the battle peaked, an elder from Mudclan, his fur covered in mud, shouted, "We will stand strong like the oaks in the swamp against your fierce winds, Stormclan! This land is our heritage. We won't give it up!"
A swift she-cat from Stormclan replied with a hint of confidence, her fur shimmering with raindrops. "Your oaks may be strong. They won't withstand a storm. Your territory is a puddle compared to the vast wilderness of the mountains, Mudclan!
"While Mudclan relied on their warriors' sheer strength, who grew up among the reeds and cattails, Stormclan warriors gracefully manoeuvred through the battle like predators. The sound of thunder echoed above as a reminder of nature's might while the clash continued. The battlefield became a symphony of war cries, teeth and claws clashing together amidst the rainfall.
From their concealed positions, warriors from Stoneclan and Swampclan silently observed this spectacle. Stoneclan stood firm like mountains with unwavering determination and loyal devotion. Their territory, with its landscape and hidden caves, had shaped them into warriors imbued with unyielding strength and profound wisdom.
Swampclan, on the other hand carried an aura of mystery. They resembled wisps of fog that clung to the lowlands, concealing their secrets within the maze of their domain. They observed the unfolding battle with an air-detached yet captivating demeanour.
Flintstar, the leader of Stoneclan, conversed with his deputy Dustclaw amidst the clash of sounds. "We must exercise caution in this world, Dustclaw. "Flintstar's voice resonated above the chaos. "While our territories may have shifted, our allegiance to the warrior code must remain unwavering. We mustn't let the winds of change sweep away our traditions."Dustclaw solemnly nodded as his gaze fixed on the warriors locked in combat.
"Indeed, Flintstar ", he replied with conviction. "We will forge our path with strength and unwavering honour."
The thunderstorm grew more intense as lightning illuminated the sky with dazzling bursts of light casting a glow upon the battlefield. In this chaos, shadows danced like a tapestry woven by warriors' determination. A reflection of tensions marking a new eras dawn. Each Clan possessed its challenges and destinies within this uncharted territory.
The confrontation between Mudclan and Stormclan wasn't about fighting for land. It signified the start of an era for four Clans forever connected to the heritage of the previous Clans that existed before them.Author note:  here's the prologue dome! This story has been in my head for a long while, I will release Google docs on each individual Clan and their members when I get time in between school and other stuff.Thank you for reading, and don't forget to share and star the start of a new era of the warrior cat series.

Warriors OCs Stuff
Don’t know if I’ll actually write for these guys but here y’all go
This is really long lol
Grove Clan:
A clan founded in a clearing between two forests. The clan is known for their generosity to outsiders and their devotion to Star Clan. Though they are very generous, they have strong boundaries. The leader often relies on the medicine cat to know when someone is safe or not, as Star Clan often gives warnings when something is off.
Upland Clan:
A clan founded on a small prairie outside of the forest. This clan is known for its reservation toward outsiders and its members sensibilities during tough situations. Though the cats are reserved, they maintain positive relations with Grove Clan, often crossing their territory to go to Rosemary’s Connection and even going with Grove Clan cats to the pond.
Rosemary’s Connection:
Rosemary’s Connection is where clans seek communication with Star Clan. It was discovered by Grove Clans previous leader, Rosemarystar. She found it when she was a deputy, after being attacked by the leader before her. She stumbled upon a starlit pond, surrounded by shining rocks and thriving foliage. In an attempt to keep herself alive to make it to Upland Clan for help, she drank from the pond. The second she swallowed a few sips; she noticed the stars coming down to her. The cats of Star Clan appeared to her and one of them smiled at her proudly, before touching her forehead with their nose, giving Rosemary her nine lives and the energy to make it to Upland Clan, where she received assistance with exiling the leader that almost killed her. The pond continues to be used for cats to communicate to Star Clan, though they must be with a medicine cat or a leader.
Land of The Lost:
The Land of The Lost is a territory that’s occupied by lost souls that deemed their deaths undeserved and hold resentment toward Star Clan. Many of these cats are siblings and hold resentment for not only Star Clan, but for their mother and their brother that is currently living. They live beneath a dried up lake in a blue, purple, and black void.
Some Important Cats:
Pumpkinstar: Leader of Grove Clan. She is calm and reasonable. She keeps a positive disposition and does anything she can to be there for her clanmates. She frequently goes hunting with others and often goes with her medicine cat to look for herbs. She takes pride in her clan and her clanmates.
Mackeralrain: Deputy of Grove Clan. He takes his responsibilities very seriously while maintaining his sense of humor and bouncy personality. He enjoys going on patrols and sparring with his friends. He’s one of Pumpkinstar’s best friends and does what he can to help make the clan is taken care of.
Junipershade: Grove Clan’s medicine cat. She is soft spoken and gentle. After being abandoned by her twolegs, she found a home in the clan, Blueye (the previous medicine cat) taking her care of her and being made her mentor. She quickly adjusted to clan life and takes pride in her knowledge of herbs and connection to Star Clan. Pumpkinstar and her often go on walks together to gather herbs.
Flintstar: Leader of Upland Clan. He is quiet and reserved, though he enjoys talking with his clanmates. He often patrols with others but prefers to go alone, taking in everything around him. He cherishes everything around him, everything from his much-loved clanmates, to the air he breathes.
Valleywhisper: Flintstar’s deputy. She is serious and tends to have a short temper, though she refrains from letting it blind her. She is the mentor for Cricketpaw, often scolding him due to his care and recklessness. She gets things done when they need to be done and enjoys sharing tongues with Flintstar, even if she is the one keeping the conversation going.
Coppercreek: Medicine cat of Upland Clan. He is cynical and blunt. He tends to scold his clanmates when they get hurt when they should’ve been careful. He enjoys visiting Rosemary’s Connection, seeing the cats of Star Clan make him feel at ease.
Very Important Cats:
Apricot: A past kittypet and a current loner. She stays in her run-down house that has been abandoned by her twoleg. She was a cat used for breeding, having many litters, though the only ones that are still living are Conifer, Cinder, and Redkit. Due to the cursed nature of all her kits deaths, she is grief stricken and hasn’t been able to stop herself from being consumed by her depression and guilt. She usually sits on a window seal and looks outside.
Conifer: A cat of the Land of The Lost. He is resentful, angry, and hurt. After hesitantly escaping from the Land of The Lost, he joins Upland Clan. As he stays with the clan, he becomes more open and calmer. He spends a lot of time with Flintstar, learning how to move past his anger. Though he learns to manage his anger, he still holds overwhelming resentment against his mother, Apricot, and brother, Cinder.
Cinderstorm: An ex-loner that is now a member of Grove Clan. After wondering in the forest, he comes across a patrol that happily take him to their camp, as Cinder was very skinny, and his eyes were unfocused. After a couple of days of Junipershade keeping an eye on him and giving him what he needed, Pumpkinstar asks if he’d like to stay, Cinder accepts, and he soon becomes a warrior. He is quiet and reliable, often doing tasks to help others. Cinderstorm is known to see the spirits of passed cats, though it’s not limited to Star Clan cats, as he has seen cats from the Land of The Lost. Though his grief for his brother, Conifer, had once been overwhelming, he has learned to appreciate the memories he has and focus on the present.
Redkit: A week old kit that is currently in the care of Upland Clan. He is being taken care of by Valleywhisper and Clayspot. He was found on the shore of a river by Clayspot.
Maybe I’ll expand and share more of these guys but idk yet
Much is still being worked on lol
I think I’ll share the picrews I have tho👀👀

some kitties from my old fan warriors allegiences hehe
i've told y'all about tulipseed; her mother is desperate romantic snapbranch, her dad is career-oriented flintdust / flintstar, she eventually becomes a tyrant, yadda yadda yadda, she mates with a rogue named mire and their kits' names are cloudbloom, gravelfoot, and needlethroat
firetuft is an infamous womanizer from riverclan - he's kind of the community meme about how many mates and kits he's had; he's a senior warrior with a big head because he's actually a really good fighter, hunter, and mentor, but he's admittedly not that good of a husband or dad lmao; his first mate was the snooty but beautiful swanface, and they had two daughters: runningheart and cricketleg; then he mated with the shy meadowshine, and his third daughter was named deertail; his current mate is the naive and easily-persuaded dandelionfur, and together they end up having two sons named aspenthistle and pikesplash, and a daughter named marigoldflight; firetuft's mother was ducksplash, his father was thorntalon, and he has a brother named eaglestep
lavenderheart and bateyes are two sisters from shadowclan, born to their sickly mother shademoon and their deadbeat dad owlsight; not too much on them yet, but lavenderheart is the soft and sweet one while bateyes would be the cool one that owns a motorcycle and hangs out at bars on the weekend; lavenderheart is the mate of a tom named bristlegorse and they have two sons named spiderclaw and webstorm, and a daughter named breezeflower; meanwhile bateyes is in love with a she-cat named grassfrost (actually one of my very first warriors oc from childhood hehe) but they had a litter of kits sired by lionscar: their daughter smokecloud and son skunksnout
i might draw more from my allegiances, i mostly doodles these down in an attempt to get out of art block ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I took the quote and blue hue from photoshop, which kinda made it look like one of those dramatic quote images you find on instagram. But honestly I prefer it with it.

Flintstar, leader of StreamClan
Formerly known as Flintwhisker,
Flintkit was always more calm and friendly yet shy and anxious. She was always a party pooper and liked to sneak in the medicine den and hide near herbs whenever she and her friends were playing hide and seek. Flintkit always asked her mother for permission, as her 2 other fathers were always on patrols. She never really got in trouble.
Flintkit was still friendly as an apprentice, but she became more confident and energetic. She was playful with the apprentices and would always attack anything to practice her hunting skills. Flintpaw’s mentor, Redsnake, was always bitter and stubborn, so Flintpaw would always usually ignore him, or just tease him and bother him whenever she could.
When she finally turned into a warrior, Flintwhisker was smart, energetic, confident and brave. She was a bit of a hothead but only when it came to bratty apprentices and sassy warriors. Her leader, Kestrelstar, had to retire and move to the elders. The deputy, Heronmask, now known as Heronstar, chose Flintwhisker to be her deputy for her clever and bold personality. Surprised yet grateful, the she cat accepted the role, and tried her best to be the best for her clan.
When Heronstar passed away, Flintwhisker was hesitant to pick her deputy, she loved all her clan mates, but most of the warriors wouldn’t make a good leader, and she knew that. After hard time of choosing, Flintwhisker, now Flintstar, had chose Nightstep as her deputy.
Flintstar is the second youngest leader in the clans, yet the most calmest. She makes sure the warrior code is followed, and doesn’t start beef with the other clans.

About the Leaders
Flintstar
Tom (he/him) | 24 moons | Prairieclan leader | Homosexual
Previously Flintkit, Flintpaw, Flintstrike
[A sleek dark grey tabby with white paws and a white chest with bright yellow eyes]
Flintstar has always been a proud cat and he isn't afraid to scream it to the world. An active cat that's always ready to get up and do something, rather it be helping his clan or causing trouble. He doesn't often think of the consequences of his actions and will do what he think would satisfy him the most at the moment. He lives for a rush of adrenaline, no matter how quick. This often leads him to making rather dangerous and stupid decisions, somehow not being in fear most of the time while he does it. He has a big ego and thinks that he is the best around. His friends are on the top of his priority list and those are the only cats he respects. He is extremely blunt with his words and doesn't care if they offend someone. One thing that entertains him if someone getting angry at him, just so he can laugh in their face and piss them off even more. He loves to have a laugh and you can often find him joking around with his buds. He is protective of his friends, and clan, so you can expect a nice slap if you disrespect them.
Thornstar
Tom (he/him) | 28 moons | SummitClan leader | Pansexual
Thornkit, Thornpaw, Thornshade
[A slender brown tabby with thick fur and green eyes]
Thornstar is pretty sluggish in the mornings (hence why his deputy usually organizes early patrols). He loves going hunting and sometimes doesn't think when it comes to taking down large birds. He's overprotective of the queens and apprentices and has been known to accompany apprentices out on their training. He's got a big soft spot for kits and loves hearing the elders' gossip. He can be a bit lazy but loves joking. He's also a bit of a neat freak so his den is very tidy. He can be stern with the young apprentices but isn't overly mean when they do something wrong. When the older warriors do something wrong however, he tries to be understanding but typically scolds them harsher since they should know better.
Riverstar
She-cat (she/her)|20 moons| CreekClan leader|Pansexual (preference for she-cats)
Previously Riverkit, Riverpaw, Riverfrost
[Slender silver tabby with golden patches and odd eyes, one blue one gold. Thick and fluffy neck fur and a feathery tail]
Riverstar is very cool and slow to anger. She’s incredibly responsible and very formal to her clanmates and anyone she isn’t close to. Not many cats get to see her true personality but she loves her clanmates and almost treats the kits and apprentices like the children she has yet to have. Skittish when it comes to building relationships. Usually pretty relaxed with punishments but is still quite stern when needed.
Shadowstar
Male, He/Him | 25 moons old | RootClan, Leader | Hetero
Bigkit, Bigpaw, Shadowdusk
Small, darkgray tabby tom with a white chest, white paws and one abnormally large eye
Shy, kind but internally self-conscious. He hides his insecurity for the better of his clan. His mother named him Bigkit so his warrior name would be Bigeye. She died when he was an apprentice, and since he as well as the entirety of the clan thought of his name as cruel, he was renamed.

for @fllnstar cont. from here
Tumblr media
She couldn’t quite understand why she’d had such a flair of jealousy when Brandon had gone off with his brother, sister, and the Dornish woman before her. All in all he’d spent more of the tourney in Lyanna’s company than he had her own. Lyanna was set to marry that Baratheon boy, and his little brother had only just returned from the Vale: It was only natural Brandon would want to spend time with him. . . it was Ashara Dayne she objected to.
And now she was stuck sitting next to the woman where Brandon had left her to go chase his sister again. Lyanna had taken to taking off at the oddest moments since they’d arrived. “They’re all to worried about who that mystery knight is to pay any attention to anyone.”
