I see them as not entirely necessary, but also can be very helpful to treat like my experience with this guy from @firstaidbeauty 🙌 I jumped at the opportunity to try FAB’s new Oil-Minimizing Toner with Salicylic Acid 💙 I’ve gone through just about the whole “pandy” without breaking out too much from maskne (yes I’m double vaxed and still wearing a mask) and now all of a sudden my skin is breaking out. 😅 This toner has helped me keep them in check A TON! I’ll swipe this over cleansed skin usually in the evenings and by the next morning my blemishes are smaller/on the mend. A little about the product itself: It’s fragrance-free, doesn’t sting or burn my sensitive skin, and it plays nice with the skincare I use afterwards. Swipe to take a peek at the ingredients. Here’s the only con I can think of…It claims to make skin less oily and I don’t notice my skin being less oily, if I’m honest…at least not due to this product, yet anyway. Maybe I need to use it more during the day? However, the fact that I can depend on this to keep my skin in check is enough to keep me going back for more. It’s a winner for me! My skin turns into combined type when hot weather kicks in. And my pores do need some extra care since working out on the heat and wearing SPFs do make my pores enlarged and more visible. I kept this mask for about 20 min, recommended 10. It did make my skin feel super smooth, soft and it has a bit of a whitening, calming effect that I needed. Skin appeared brighter and tighter 🙌🏻 also I like the no mess packaging, it’s a travel friendly tube that won’t take a lot of space. Thank you @firstaidbeauty it’s a handy product! It definitely tops my list of “Must Have Masks for Dry, Itchy Winter Skin” with beautiful soothing and healing ingredients like Arnica Flower, Calendula, and Centella Asiatica. The texture is beautiful that is reminiscent of toothpaste (if I were to compare it to anything) an initially is rich and has a white cast upon application but quickly sinks in leaving the skin feeling instantly calmer. This beauty also passes the pillow test with flying colors! After using it I wake up to soft, supple, and dewy with MUCH less visible redness. Heres a FAB selfie on this fabulous Sunday! . A whole shelf full of @firstaidbeauty products that I have been trying out lately. There are some knockout new products and some old favourites. . I have seriously been loving the Ultra Repair BarriAIR cream, with its bubbly, foamy texture, and the Ultra Repair Oat and Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, which is both hydrating and calming. The oil has a really thin consistency and is the texture of a dry oil, meaning it sinks in right away and doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or heavy at all. I also really like the scent of this oil, its very clean and almost soapy. . The Ultra Repair Cream is an OG and is a beautiful whipped, pearly moisturizer. I love it on my ultra dry legs. It locks in moisture right away and doesn’t feel sticky at all! Their Ultra Repair Cleanser is also a favourite of mine. It’s pH balanced at 5.5, which is the natural acidity level of your skin, so it won’t strip your skin or leave it feeling tight. . All around, these have been a big hit for me! I haven’t tested the primers enough yet, so will share my thought on those once I’ve tested them more! . I love trying new concealers. #firstaidbeautygiftedme Recently tried out First Aid Kit’s Avocado Concealer. I genuinely like this concealer because it doesn’t crease or crack throughout the day. It works extremely well with my oily skin & dry under eyes. I don’t think it does that great of a job with diminishing my puffy eyes and dark circles but it still somewhat covers part of them.
