I keep a list of brands that I haven’t tried but want to explore. @personacosmetics was on that list and I finally got around to trying a couple of things! I know everyone raves about their eyeshadows so I’m definitely like 👀 lol they look beautiful. The products I’ve tried are their Laguna Highlighter and glosses in Honey & Toffee. Swipe for swatches! Here are my thoughts 👇 • Cali Glow Laguna Highlighter: She is THICC with ✌️ Cs and she is pigmented as all get out. Less is more for me (it buffs out best that way), but if you’re a more is more kinda person this gorgeous pale gold has you covered too. • Glosses in Honey & Toffee: They’re each a gorgeous shade on their own or as toppers. The formula is comfortable but thick enough to last a while and the shiiiiiine is there ✨ I can’t say I’m surprised that I had a good experience, but I’m definitely happy with it. Love at first bronze 😻☀️ @alamarcosmetics just knows how to do it right. It’s pigmented, blends like an airy dream, and holds up all day. The variation I have of the Hydrating Complexion Trio is in Medium-Tan. The three tones work perfectly together (on my complexion) to add dimension and depth, and the formula really lends itself to be controlled and manipulated. Now I don’t want to tell you what to do, but if you have their Bronzer brush, you HAVE TO try them together!!! Lol it’s my favorite bronzing brush as it makes any bronzer perform like a million bucks, but with this one it’s just that much more special. [PR] #firstaidbeautygiftedme Do you believe in toners or are they a waste of time and $$ in your mind? I see them as not entirely necessary, but also can be very helpful to treat like my experience with this guy from @firstaidbeauty 🙌 I jumped at the opportunity to try FAB’s new Oil-Minimizing Toner with Salicylic Acid 💙 I’ve gone through just about the whole “pandy” without breaking out too much from maskne (yes I’m double vaxed and still wearing a mask) and now all of a sudden my skin is breaking out. 😅 This toner has helped me keep them in check A TON! I’ll swipe this over cleansed skin usually in the evenings and by the next morning my blemishes are smaller/on the mend. A little about the product itself: It’s fragrance-free, doesn’t sting or burn my sensitive skin, and it plays nice with the skincare I use afterwards. Swipe to take a peek at the ingredients. Here’s the only con I can think of…It claims to make skin less oily and I don’t notice my skin being less oily, if I’m honest…at least not due to this product, yet anyway. Maybe I need to use it more during the day? However, the fact that I can depend on this to keep my skin in check is enough to keep me going back for more. It’s a winner for me! Meet my latest complexion obsession 🙌 The Dualist Matte & Illuminating Concealer from @wander_beauty has been on heavy rotation because it’s just easyyyy. I love the coverage, the finishes, and how both formulas work together. I even wear this alone on minimal makeup days and it stays in place all day even in this Cali heat ☀️🌴 Swipe for swatches! Here’s the breakdown 👇 The matte stick concealer is super easy to draw on and blend out. It’s creamy, has great coverage, and I don’t find myself freaking out if I forget to set it. LOVE that it has a natural matte finish and that it’s not drying or cakey looking. The illuminating concealer has a doe foot wand applicator, has a sheer to light coverage, pairs beautifully with the matte concealer to customize coverage, and I love that it feels hydrating. Did you catch my last GRWM Reel? I used a couple of @saiebeauty products, their Glowy Supergel in Starglow and Slip Tint in shade Three + Half. They’re both beautifully lightweight and perfect for those looking for a natural & glowy complexion. Here’s the breakdown 👇 • Glowy Supergel in Starglow: This is a very thin and watery serum that adds a natural glow to the complexion. You can wear this alone, under makeup, or top the high points of the face to highlight. If you prefer a soft or natural look, this is perfect! I definitely see shimmering particles when swatching, but I don’t detect it on the face. Additional things to note... It has a very strong botanical scent upon application but it does not linger for long at all and it also hasn’t caused any reaction on my sensitive skin. The size I have is a mini and they also offer a deeper bronzed shade in the full size that I’m eyeing 😍 Swipe all the way through to see it compared to the Charlotte Tilbury HFF in number 3. • Slip Tint in shade Three + Half: This tinted moisturizer provides sheer to a light-medium coverage when built up. My favorite way to apply is with my hands or stippled and buffed with a brush to control coverage. The formula feels very comfortable on the skin, provides a Broad Spectrum SPF of 35, and is perfect for everyday wear. {PR} If you’re looking to bump up the coverage and even out minor skin texture, this @rarebeauty Pore Diffusing Primer* could be one to turn to! I was super curious to see what the texture would feel like since I hate silicone feeling primers that claim to lessen the appearance of pores. Happy to report that this is way more comfortable than I anticipated! It does, inevitably, have a little bit of that dimethicone slip, but the water based formula really helps it be more comfortable and less gritty. When paired with the Rare Beauty foundation, my skin looks buttery smooth and I’m really able to manipulate the coverage. I’ve used the primer with other foundations and it’s nice, but with the Rare Beauty foundation, it’s flawless. 🙌 You can really tell that they were formulated for one another! If you’re heavy handed like me, I highly recommend using no more than a pea sized amount at a time and really target areas of concern to work in product. Adding too much of a good thing sometimes made my makeup sit on the face instead of mesh with it. In addition to this primer helping smooth, and prolong wear, it claims to help keep skin matte, but I found that it does not control my oily areas. Hi friends! Taking a break from binge watching Who Killed Sara on Netflix all weekend. We are HOOKED!!! 😱 Have you watched it? For those of my friends who grew up watching novelas with their mom, you’ll provably recognize a lot of the actors lol 😆 In makeup news, today I’m coming atcha with swatches of my entire @nudestix eye pencils collection. Most of these are my favorite Magnetic Luminous formula but I have a couple others in the mix too. My love affair started with the shade Nudity and blew up into a full blown addiction lol. They’re just so easy to use and last all day on me!
