Azula headcanon

I think azula is actually pretty funny but in a sarcastic, ranty, storyteller, commentary kind of way! I think she makes people laugh unintentionally a lot but doesn't always get why they are laughing. She'll give an opinion about something or tell a story and people will laugh about the things she says and the way she says it. Sometimes she won't get why it's funny, but she enjoys making people laugh. I've seen people say that she isn't intentionally funny, but I think she definitely can be! She'd be funny in the same way toph is. She'd let her humorous side shine wayyy more after she heals more and develops more stable sense of self. Post healing, I think she'd be popular on social media for her humor, lifestyle, storytimes, life experiences, mental health, fashion, and opinions on the miscellaneous things in life!

so idk if other peeps have pointed this out but i was looking at pics of the firelords and i noticed that at the bottom of all their royal portraits are what they accomplished in their reign

so first i have sozin and obv there is the comet at the top but then at the bottom u have a bunch of soldiers to signify he started the war idk what the scroll signifies

okay so then u have azulon right and he’s standing on flames and stuff blah blah but he’s also standing on a dragon to signify that during his reign the last of the dragons were hunted and killed (or so iroh made everyone think)

and then ozai (the jerklord)but i like his portrait the best bc it shows something that’s never really talked about but this pic shows under ozai’s rule the fire nation was industrialized with the pipes releasing fire and the gears which i think is cool

Send in the Stormlord

My little idea is, that Firlord Zuko, as a more gentle and peace loving soul, introduced the title of Stormlord, named by the impressive ability of the first holder of that title to cast lightning.

In times of peace the Stormlord’s duties were mostly that of an army inspector, who had to maintain the capability of the Fire Nation military, ensure that the men and women were well trained and equipped and also loyal to the Firelord. But in times of war, called by the Firelord, the Stormlord would take direct command of the military to fullfill the goals set by the Firelord.

The first Stormlord was princess Azula, who took command after she returned to the Fire Nation officially five years after the defeat of Ozai. Despite heavy protest among other nations the decision was pretty popular among the citizens of the Fire Nation, appeased some of the opposition to Zuko, intimidated others and soon ended all who went for more active measures to oppose her brother.

Her first rule as Stormlord followed two years later, when the Earth Kingdom absued the absence of the Avatar for a ‘rouge’ attack on Fire Nation territory with covert support of the Earth King and his military. The conflict ended swiftly and most of the casualties came from the initial attacks and when the armies of the “rouge general” besieged the Fire Nation´s outer defensive positions. While the bulk of said army was busy with siegecraft Stormloard Azula personally lead a small elite team behind enemy lines and arrested the general and his staff and forced the Earth King to thank her for taking care of the “criminals” and observed their execution by the Earth Kingdom.

The Fire Nation soon entered a golden age of peace and prosperity, brought not by conquest but cooperation and guarded by the Dragon of the South, as Stormlord Azula was later known after he campaign at the southern islands.
