The Evermore Grimoire: Elemental Powers

Ferrokinesis is the power to create, shape and manipulate metal. This includes being able to lift and move any object made of metal or coated in a metallic substance. Those that wield this power can also reshape metal into different forms and objects of varying detail and permanence ranging from simple shapes and images to functional items such as tools and weapons. They can also sense the presence of metal and possibly gain a detailed understanding about the metal they are sensing. Over time this power can grow to the point where the wielder can even transform matter and objects, including living beings into metal, especially gold. Thus making this power highly desirable and potentially for all the wrong reasons.

I think in the future this would be the planet Ark retires to. Because he is 100% not staying on Alternia once the fleet lets him go. He wants as far away from it as possible and a very low-potential and generally unpromising colony is a perfect mix of 'acceptable place to go' and 'I will never have to speak to another member of the Alternian government for the rest of my life'

Did Aventurine poof because of the debris that fell on her, or did she poof herself because of the pressure she was feeling?

This is where, unfortunately, if you're not familiar with the original Steven Universe, the hints I'm trying to desperately throw at you may go right over your head.

No, it wasn't simply 'debris' that 'fell' on her, and neither was it The Lack of Zest for life. But unless you know that Peridot inherently has ferrokinesis, this is really hard to pick up what's happening.

I try to make this comic accessible even for those who have not seen the original show, but unfortunately in places like this, I kinda have to cut corners.

I do hope I've left enough hints in there for you guys.... If you're confused, I recommend reading it again. I know when people are excited, they tend to scroll through the comic itself very quickly, to find out what happens. But if you read this way, you miss a lot of details!

The Evermore Grimoire: Mermaids of the Seven Seas

The Indian Mermaids are a pod of mermaids who live in the Indian Ocean and are known for having the ‘Golden Touch’ thanks to their power of Ferrokinesis. Thus enabling them to turn anything they touch into gold which over the centuries has gained them the title ‘The Gilded Mermaids.’ Not only do they love to adorn themselves in shells made of gold that compliment their golden tails that shimmer brightly in the daylight. They also live a rather gilded life under the sea as their sanctuary is an underwater city embellished with the rare jewels (mostly gifts from the Baltic Mermaids) as well as earths finest metals. Because of this it has also made them highly coveted within the magical world which in turn has led to them being hunted down alongside their unique treasure. However just like the other mermaids from the Seven Seas, they are still powerful and cunning and will protect themselves and their magic at all costs by bestowing a curse. So if anyone from the surface world (magical or not) hunts down and captures an Indian Mermaid and their treasure, their life as they know it is over forever. Their health will decline and their life long riches will disappear leaving them destitute which will spread throughout the rest of their family including future generations. Nonetheless, this curse can be lifted if the perpetrator or any relative shows remorse by returning what they have stolen to the remaining pod of Indian Mermaids. But as we known the surface world can be both stubborn and greedy regardless of the cost of their lives and their loved ones, meaning that tales of anyone surviving this curse is extremely rare.

Okay, hear me out. Heisenwinters AU. Ethan is deaf and had a cochlear implant - Karl’s ferrokinesis tears it out of his head, so he can’t hear anything around him. Lycans, nothing. His other senses of course are heightened.

Ethan being deaf was genetic, so there is a possibility Rose could lose her hearing, as well. And I just thought this might be an interesting AU, tbh.

Karl finds this little chip and is just like “what the fuck is this” lmao.

Anyway Karl figures out Ethan’s deaf pretty fast when Ethan doesn’t respond to him immediately when they meet.

I also just think that the trap could be incredibly terrifying being able to feel this booming of a voice over speakers while being chased by a bunch of lycans.

Backstory

Atoosa Aryan was born in Hamedan, Iran among religious people whose lives were ruled by a religion centered society. Atoosa's family was considerably functional. She was a gifted kid who gradually became a perfectionist, and also a people pleaser thanks to her controlling mother who cared a lot about what others were thinking about them. Atoosa's powers were revealed when she was a toddler. Her powers were extremely weak, yet her mom constantly warned her to conceal it.

Atoosa used to be a cheerful and quiet energetic child, but growing up in an extremely male dominant country which was also torturing its people with poverty and increasing number of crimes, turned her into a reserved and stoic adolescent with a pretty low self-confidence.

In order to escape, save herself and create an ideal life Atoosa emigrated to Germany. She had been studying psychology for a year when her parents decided to pay her and her older sibling, Gizem, a visit. But the airplane was targeted by two rockets. Atoosa swore to find and punish anyone who was behind that incident.

Meanwhile, without her knowing anything, Metalrealmers were searching the universe for a certain half-metalrealmer to kill who was exactly Atoosa Aryan. Metalrealmers believed that their gene must not become impure as they wanted to preserve their magic. Raiden was also aware of this, so he also began to search only to find out that she lives in Earthrealm, and as its protector it was easier for him to uncover her identity. Raiden saw a great potential in her, so he decided to train her while also protecting her from Metalrealmers. Atoosa found this a great opportunity for her researches. Raiden let her live in the Sky Temple rent free, and asked Sonya Blade to train her.

Atoosa knew that Raiden wanted her to become a defender, and she despised that. She didn’t want to become an obedient soldier who would risk her life for honor and humans. But she took the opportunity to train and make herself stronger.

Eventually, the Metalrealmers discovered her location, and threatened Raiden that they would put up a war with the Sky Temple, if he didn’t give her to them. After a fight, the general of the Metalrealm’s army intervened, and informed Atoosa that if she proves herself to them, they can’t resist her powers which was superior to theirs. The god who was protecting their realm was vanished centuries ago, so they could use anyone who could offer some benefits. Atoosa asked them for equal civil rights, and they hesitantly agreed. Living in another realm and earning immense wealth, she had everything. However, she told Raiden that she only accepted their offer to avert a conflict in the Sky Temple.

After around three years, Atoosa earned the position of the president of the Interrealm Forces with the help of her calculated mind in the missions and the businesses. Although she had to be rightfully dead, she was exactly what Metalrealmers could ever ask for. Most of them hated her, but still showed their respects. They gave her a nickname that almost replaced her true name: Ombra. She basically suggested it herself. She once told them in a TV program that she was like a shadow. She didn’t elaborate because there was no need to. She continued her research until she found out that a cult was behind the airplane incident; a cult well-known to the people all around the world except a few countries including hers.

She was angry. Ombra was angry, and made her final decision to burn them into ashes, so she called her business partner, Kano, to execute her plan. This big step she took will lead her to unearth a harsh truth, and unexpectedly, find love.
