My supervisor recently offloaded about 300 tea bags on me because their grandmother had them on a rotating order. I'm in heaven. It's gotten to the point that I routinely drink mugs of hot water to make sure I don't accidentally form an addiction haha

26. your favorite bug that lives in your area / region: Is it cheating to say Phidippus audax / bold jumping spider? Just because I have one as a pet? Well, if that's cheating, then I'll go with...western boxelder bugs. There are so many of them and I like the way they act and I think they're pretty.

35. favorite noise a bug can make: cliche, but cricket song. specifically the song of the crickets that live by my grandma's house. ahh...sounds like childhood summers.

36. your policies and procedures when encountering an outside bug inside your home?: unless it is something that could bite or sting the ferrets (who are small and stupid enough to get bit or stung), or somewhere likely to get hurt (like the giant house spiders and mouse spiders who spawn in the bathtub and I dont want to drown em), i pretty much let them be. we've got plenty of cellar spiders in corners who just vibe, and honestly they seem to keep the flying insect population way down. I know lots of ppl hate silverfish but I don't kick them out either, they're just guys. If it is something I'm removing from the house (usually large spiders), I have a specific small container I use to scoop them up in. I frequently keep them for a day or so to admire and show off, especially if they're really big, and then I let them go off the front patio.

A couple of nights ago there WAS the largest giant house spider I have ever seen in my life (I'm talking "had to check that he wasn't one of my tarantulas escaped when I first saw him" levels of big) sitting on the floor of the dining room and he DID spook the hell out of me when my roommate missed with the container the first time and he sprinted directly at my feet. But we caught him eventually and hopefully he's having a nice giant spider time outside in the yard now. So yeah! Ignore or scoop.

Remember that old ask game where I asked you about what happens in Scum Villain and you asked me about the contents of Star Trek? I would be FASCINATED to know what impression my dash has given you of the Owl House

So this might be a bit disappointing, but I actually do know some stuff about The Owl House. Because you're not my only friend who likes that show, I've seen it a lot on the dash. I do want to watch it eventually but you ever seen that post about your brain won't let me watch something new until the time is right but who knows when that will be? If we were RL I've say we'd need to have a binge session because that usually helps Yeah. That's me.

Anyway Luz is a teenage girl who ends up in a magical place called the boiling isles and she lives with someone called the owl lady and her little dog named King. The one with the skull. I do remember seeing something about King's dad is really powerful???? Luz wants to learn magic but isn't her family concerned about her being here???

Anyway I'm not sure why the Owl Lady is the Owl Lady, can she turn into an owl? I do know she has a sister who is aroace, because I remember seeing a post about that.

And then your babygirl is a puritan from the real world (time travel????) and he doesn't like all the magic. He also has that form that makes him look like a skeleton/ deer mix. Also he has a brother named Philip, because you have mentioned that.

While there, Luz meets a girl named Amity, who has green hair and then purple hair, who starts off as someone awful but then becomes better and they date. Someone else showed me the scene where they became girlfriends and it was really cute. And Luz is bi, because I saw that screenshot from the show about how she came out as bi. Also, girls dating in a Disney show??? I'm so happy to see that.

They and their friends, who I remember are named Gus and Willow and Hunter fight against your Belos and some little babygod called The Collector.

I do remember everyone saying the Collector is just a kid and he's extremely powerful, which is interesting. Is Belos using him? I also remember I once saw a post about Luz's mom (wonder how she figured out her daughter was in this magical place) could stop The Collector with the power of being a mother.

Anyway, from what I heard it was cancelled early but had great rep for LGBTQ rep. But I did hear that it deserved more screen time. Hopefully the fanfics are good.
