The last time I was regularly on this site was during the most troubled phase in my life, so maybe it makes sense that I'd come back here this year, when I felt lost and alone and I couldn't rely on my routines and I couldn't see my friends or really talk to them. And it's been really nice! Despite all that is wrong with this year, I'm still in far a better place than I was 5 years ago when I left this site, and for that I am really grateful, but it's still been tough. And fooling around on here, obsessing over some fictional characters instead of the problems in my own life, it's been a good escape. Scrolling through my dash has been great fun, and there have been so many people (well, maybe not that many, I've been seeing how many people have been tagged in these things and I just don't interact in any way with that many people on here) who have thoroughly entertained me and made me laugh pretty much everyday. My blog may be a mess, but the blogs of the people I follow are really great.

I am even more grateful for the people with whom I've had the opportunity to have a chat with, and feel some actual human connection (that's been rare this year!). Some I've talked to on messages and hopefully become at least sort of a friend to, and some I've just sent some anons to (because sometimes I'm shy and intimidated), but with all I've had the privilege of having some semblance of normalcy, and some nostalgia over what being on here and making friends was like back in 2012.

All in all, 2020 really sucked. But it really has been nice on here.

ok finally decided to write down how CLMC met :) i could have worded things better around some parts but i really just wanted to put my thoughts out on how they met i'll revise on it some other time

cyan works at a music shop, every week they see magenta bc he loves buying things there when the weeks turn to months then a year or so they become good friends. lemon is new to the city, she decides to go to the city cyan and magenta live in bc she wants to play music and help her family income wise. she checks out the music shop and meets cyan :) she goes to the music shop to buy a guitar since she only has her hand-made banjo. cyan goes ahead and helps her pick a guitar out and magenta joins in too bc he wants some instrument they somehow have in the shop. lemon is amused at magenta and cyan and decides she wants to be friends with them. so they did! yipeeeee lemon and carmine met before but they didn't know it. they met back when lemon was on the bus to the city. carmine ran away from home bc she doesn't like her parents forcing her to take up acting and not music. they sat together on the bus on the way. after lemon buys her guitar and goes to the apartment she rented. carmine goes around looking for a place to play some music. carmine didn't really plan anything else other than she wants to get away from her parents so she doesn't really have a place to stay at. her brother lives around in the city so she decides to live there for the time being. she goes around the city to form a band bc that has been her dream for soooo long. her brother fern offers to help but with him being a model a flock of fans will try to join the band just to get close with fern so she declines his offer to help.

she goes to several bars and stuff to join a band or to form one but they don't want to accept her offers. she then goes to cyan's music shop and asks if cyan plays any instruments. cyan says that they played the double bass back then in highschool and carmine says she's alright with that and asks them to form a band. cyan, amazed by carmine's enthusiasm agrees also bc they miss playing music and not just selling stuff about it. cyan asks carmine if she has other members and carmine embarrassingly says cyan is the first member she has recruited. cyan goes ahead and calls magenta and lemon since they know they play instruments as well. in the music shop there's a music studio upstairs that no one uses anymore so they decide to practice and play in there. before they play first they don't know what song to play carmine writes songs here and there and shows them her work. no one other than them and her brother have seen her song writing work. after their music session carmine exclaims that they need a band name. magenta suggests silly band names they could use. they all laugh at it but carmine said they gotta be serious about this. lemon suggests they use the first letter of each of their names. they all agree with that and CLMC starts their journey on being a band!
