They're going to have to drag me out kicking and screaming if they want me to leave the fandom. I'm not going anywhere. I’ve gotten death threats while I was in this fandom, so it's going to take a hell of a lot more to get rid of me.

That being said, I'm obviously not the injured party in this situation. I don't have all the information, although I am a nosy bitch and would love to know who did the doxxing. I just want to know so I can report, block, and move on.

I'm really confused over this whole doxxing situation? The person who did sucks, obviously, goes without saying, but how in the world did her employer justify firing because she has a fairly innocuous hobby?!

This is merely speculation, so please take what I'm about to say with a bucket of salt, but I think it went beyond doxxing. It's possible the person who doxxed them contacted the employer and spread lies about the person, which then led to them being fired. If the potential allegations were serious enough, they could warrant immediate dismissal. Like I said, this is speculation, so don't take my word as law, and please, don't harass anyone. That goes for everyone in the fandom, not just you, obviously!

I can't even fathom how you can live with yourself knowing you've threatened someone's safety and livelihood. It's disgraceful and unacceptable, and I hope the person who did it steps on lego barefoot.

But never, not once, did it cross my mind to do anything that would jeopardize their safety and livelihood. You block and you try to move forward. That’s it.
