Hello istahil. I was wondering if you had any advice on writing characters. I love how fleshed out and we'll developed all your characters are and I was wondering what your process of developing them has been like.

I've written down what exactly helped me and I'm 80% sure it'll help you a lot. I know and have mentioned 3 methods and one might help. Maybe.

Method 1:

I actually saw a post (say about a few months ago) talking about how you should stick to cliche characters and I think that would be perfect advice (I only saw the post after developing my characters so it didn't apply to me but if I didn't, I'd totally go with that) + (I would link the post but I can't seem to find it sorry :( )

Method 2:

Something else I did (one I actually followed) was I'd collect a bunch of characters (from shows/movies/serieses) and pick out what they had in common, realistic things they'd do (like have more than one pet peeve on things) or just habits they had that I liked a lot. So I'd mix and match (but avoiding clashing two different vibes together unless your character had heavy mood swings lol)

If every character is the same at the start (a mirror of yourself most likely) trying basing your characters on other pre-existing characters you love. Or at least some parts of their characteristics or characteristics from various similar characters combined.

If you want your protagonist/Romance option/side character to be a golden retriever type of a character, think of characters with the same habits and behaviour from other movies and serieses you've watched.

Method 3:

Also I started using character sheets? This is actually pretty useful as you can write out their goals and all of that. I've made a template for the exact one I'm using so that might help? (It's not completed but it's a start!)

Here's the template make sure to copy the file then begin editing it!

Since dreams often use fragments of memories, does your LoZ OC Dreem have powers relating to dreams, memories, and the mind as a whole? (Was thinking about doing some art with your OC meeting mine since one is a Poe with very little memory of her past life 👉👈)

I dunno if you've seen my other posts about her, but she was actually born from a dream herself so she's inexplicably linked to them. (From dreamfishes dream to be exact! the one from links awakening :>) She can enter Dreams physically and has some quirks in the waking world that give her some skillsets attributed to her powers. She has a handspindle that can take on multiple forms, like a lantern to dispell nightmares or dream fog (the stuff that hides ur dreams so you cannot remember them when awake anymore) and that can guide her to points of interest within someones mind. A dream is also filled with something i for now just call dreamfibres. Like dustbunnies they collect pieces of the imagination an subconcious and are seen as clouds that she can spin into thread and that thread can be used in a variety of ways. Like in a dream she can use it to stitch up holes in one's memory/dream. She can also take it outside and use it so create physical objects with it (Physical manifestation from dreams!). She can also stitch certain sigils or symbols onto pillows lets say and if someone sleeps on them then they dream a handcrafted dream she made herself! Like for example if someone has a favourite memory she can make it so that that person can experience that same memory in their dreams again. Her spindle is also with which she enters dreams since she can use it to make someone fall asleep like a pendulum.

these were like the earliest little explorations of the idea, but they're not that up to date anymore designwise, but that's like the idea of it, a morphing spindle with multiple functions relating to Dreams and fantasy or for combat, if she should encounter nighmares or hostile entities though i really don't see her as much of a fighter, it's more so just in case.

But all in all it's still pretty wip since I wanna felsh it out some more and think of regulations and a few possible downsides for balacing issues, but thats like the drafting ideas :D

Well I don't really know whats its like in my stomach.. its definitely not a good time though, I mean people tend to stop moving pretty quickly just chucks of felsh and bone within the hour. I know there's not a lot of 'breathable' gas in there, I tend to burp alot after swallowing someone and that cuts their oxygen time down by alot... but if anyone wants to find out ill happily ablige ! Its been hours since I ate anyone and I'm practically starving !

Clatter: (how do I feel about 'leftovers' from my prey)

firstly I love the term clatter ! Hehehe!

Mmmmm I adore the feeling of bones and skulls pressing through my skin from my stomach and intestines, clattering along their way hehe but thats not really the question hehehehhe.

I definitely have a lot of leftovers hehe, it just feels bad to throw away peoples bones, and they just keep pileing up evey time i burp !

Also I'm a real sucker for free things, so any pretty jewellery or the likes is an instant keepsake for me hehe, sometimes I even remember who they belonged too.

Heart: (do i care about my prey, or are they just food.)

I mean I do kinda value peoples lives, its just hard to care about every single one I have to eat, when I'm eating 2-3 people for breakfast lunch and dinner with a few little snacks thrown in throughout the day 😋 😊 Really im just that hungry, even if we're friends and my stomach starts growling i'll probably just say something like "I'm sorry about this bestie" as I lift you up and swallow you down, probably to forget you till I'm snaking again!

But I promise im not heartless hehehe, okay mabey a little !

Ahhh okay after all that talking I deserve a little tasty treat and I'm sorry anon but your the closest hehe ! Bye bye now !

It seems like I only post TMA content. Anyway. Today's episode was MAG 28 Skinthight.

I love Melanie and the fact that Jon was trying to stay so professional to not mention his connections to Georgie.

But what got me so much was the graffiti "SILK WILL NOT STICH THE BUTCHER'S MEAT" and while they had nothing to do with the statement, I just loved it. I know it's probably something about medical stuff during the war was made of silk but just for a second imagine it's the Web.

Like an avatar/follower of the Felsh or Slaughter had beef with the Web and went in and painted it up to assert dominance. Like that is some petty shit man.

And also the tresspassing bit fror Sarah. Like I get it, it's the domain of the Slaughter and they have beef with the whole old Unknowing but hey.

Anyways if anybody can reccomend a fic that deals with this let me know!
