Nerd-to-nerd communication

Something super pointless and self-indulgent I've had on the backburner for a while. I love trying to make the pieces they gave us fit together!

Al-AN and Robin would absolutely bond over learning about each other's biology. I could talk about this forever but I'll get into all of the headcanons I have for these two in another post eventually

Architect Anatomy A. Architect "Brain" - Doesn't "store" information so much as allow for easy communication with the network B. Brainstem - connects the information received to the central nervous/circulatory system C. "Heart" - Circulatory system pumps the bioluminescent fluid to other organ systems and surface veins. Each node connects to a vast vasculature network D. "Kidneys" - Organs that filter the bioluminescent "blood" and other bodily fluids, absorbing and distributing collected material E. Nerve Center - Receives raw sensory data and filters it. Filtering can be unconscious or intentional

F. "Respiratory" Tract - Intakes gases or liquids and filters out material for use. Disposes of waste on exhale. Provides cooling to internal systems

The respiratory tract functions less like a set of lungs and more akin to a computer's cooling system, with the ability to absorb material from the environment to use in other parts of the body. It also would likely help the architect's body analyze the environment it is currently exposed to on a molecular level. It is also truly unidirectional, with the intake vents near the "collarbone" and the exhaust vents on both sides of the abdomen

The architect organ cache in-game felt like it was definitely not a complete model of the internal organs, so I wanted to come up with something to fill some more space. I also just really liked the idea of Al-An being capable of something similar to breathing, without having a respiratory system in the traditional sense. Feel free to use any of this in your own headcanons if you would like :)

I wish that when people said they were spiritual fictionkin/otherkin that they would actually be willing to dive into that and unpack that.

If it’s past lives, what order did they happen in? Did you remember your life as X when you were Y? Did you have any spiritual experiences before this life that you feel you still carry with you?

If your spiritual kintype isn’t an animal/human/similar, such as an AI or an object or a concept, how does that thing having a “soul” shape your worldview? How might that soul and its perceptions have differed from one shoved into a human form?

There’s so much to explore and I think we as a community should get more comfortable with these types of questions. As much as I love hearing about someone’s memories, the logistics of it are just as fascinating and impactful to me.

Sonic but Undertale souls (the post about how that works)

OKAY so humans souls are exactly the same as in Undertale but, unless you (or I) want to use it for AU purposes, there's no resetting time. With that out of the way, Mobians have the upside down souls BUT they aren't pure white. That's reserved for animals and such who also have much smaller souls.

Now the thing about Sonic and co is that Mobians with powers actually have 2 colors/traits when it comes to their soul. The outer soul color is their main soul trait (basically their soul's color if they didn't have powers) and the middle is their secondary trait. Also Determination is a very rare trait for souls to have as the trait is found only in people who have powers (side note: humans rarely get powers and when they do it's not as strong as Mobians) and that's only if they would've had perseverance as their soul trait if they didn't have powers. So it's a rare sight to say the least.

Edit: Forgot to mention that souls linger a little while after death and depending on how strong a soul someone has the longer it lingers. Also forget to mention that soul fusion is still a thing but it's finicky and like 99% of the time just ends up killing both parties. Also you are free to attempt soul fusion with another person if both parties consent but like... you're probably gonna die so it's not really worth trying.

the thing is i think that like. afab and amab as terms arent like. a bad thing?? like if you're talking about urself and ur assigned gender happens to be relevant and is preferrable to another descriptor (eg if ur dysphoric abt ur body to some it may be easier to say ur agab rather than describing ur features) or describing a situation where thats relevant then like. sure! its just like any other word u just use it cus it makes sense- (note this only applies if YOU'RE using the term when you're talking about YOURSELF)

Is it TF?

TF, as in Transformation, is a concept that can mean quite a few things to many different people- and when depicted in art or media, usually consists of some sort of physical or psychological transformation of one thing into another, often including the contexts before or after such a change occurs. 

For the purposes of this blog, the assumed pretense that the TF or TF-adjacent content depicted in posts on this blog being nonsexual in this manner is considered the default, and will be treated or engaged with as such unless clarified otherwise, but there are plenty of ways those who engage in TF art can enjoy it! There are many who consider it a paraphilia for themselves and commonly enjoy it as a sexual theme, but it is also quite common for people to enjoy it entirely nonsexually, as well- perhaps exploring it under a lens of gender, as a vessel or narrative device to communicate themes, or just liking it as an unrelated special interest... TF is fascinating and alluring concept in itself, regardless of the ways it can be enjoyed and explored.

I made this blog because I love it when I see people unintentionally making TF posts on tumblr. I feel like it happens a lot and I think it's really, really funny when it does, by accident or not.
