He’s the annoying little brother who asks you to take him places

Doesn’t matter what your doing, you could be streaming and he would be like

“What do you want Tommy?”

“Will you take me to Mcdonald’s?”

And you’d be like

“Bruh”

If you said no he would babyrage

He calls you big f/l, or small f/l depending on your hight 😌

When you make fun of him for being a child, he would make fun of you for being old

Normally he would be an ass to you, but when he is soft, you embrace it

He gives good hugs, prove me wrong

When he turned 18, he made you do a drinking stream with him

Absolute chaos, but you would do your best to stop him

You ended up throwing uncle Nasty, he was pissed off, but he pissed you off first, so it’s ok

He would probably be really sweet off stream, but if you ever brought it up on stream all hell would break loose

Would deffo send you ‘good morning!’ Or ‘come join the call and hang out!’ Messages if your having a bad day

The Best Laid Plans...

So, with a heavy heart, I have to apologise that it now looks unlikely I will be able to post any more fics in 2023.

I had hoped to write and post three other holiday fics and a birthday fic next week. That seems very unlikely to happen now. I don't foresee having any writing time. I will of course try my very best.

Unfortunately, there has been a death in my workplace, which means my workload between now and Christmas has doubled. I will be working LONG hours and have barely any time to do anything but sleep between now and the end of next week.

So apologies to everyone, especially the person whose birthday fic deadline I will miss. You know who you are. My humblest apologies my dear. 🫶

I’ve been writing the first chapter of SWMF along side the Sel/Nick smut piece— weird I know— I just keep bouncing back & forth between them when I start losing steam, for whatever reason. Anyway, those should be out around the same time as I’m pretty close to being done with both. Living for the Natasia/Faye dynamic already btw, they’ve barely even spoken three words to each other yet, so glad I ship these two. 🥰

The smutty piece is also going to live in the same world as RTN, which is to say it’s post LB3 but they are all still squatting chilling at the Lodge because it’s better than any dorm ever could be so why not? Bree makes an appearance in this one as well with some fluffy bookending setting up their cute little OT3 situation, for those of us who are optimists on this ship!

It was just a regular day. Minding you own business, making people drinks, when this guy, who’s like 20 years older then you, starts flirting with you.

Now normally, you try to ignore it but this guy was relentless, like he couldn’t take the hint. So you did what any rational person would do, and called your boyfriend. Who is your boyfriend, you ask? (I feel like you should know, he’s your lover, but what do I know, I’m a fan fiction writer) it’s the one and only Quackity! The owner of Las Nevadas, it was your favorite card to pull on creepy people.

“So, uh whatcha makin sweetheart, something as sweet as you I hope?” The pervy dude said to you, as you were making another patrons drink. “A knuckle sandwich if your not careful” you muttered, gods what was taking Q so long. “What was that sweetheart?” He replied darkly. “I said I’m not interested, I have a boyfriend” you said, groaning.

“Yeah? Well I don’t see him” Was all he could say before his head was slammed into the bar. “See him now, jackass?” The man of the hour said, pushing you behind him. “Took you long enough, what, did Slime get stuck somewhere again?” You grumbled, looking rather pissed off.

“Yeah, sorry mi vida,” The black haired man chuckled. “PURPLED”

“Yes boss? Oh shit, what happened to that guy” The dirty blonde laughed at the unsightly knocked out man. “Take out the trash, would you?” “Thanks kid” You said, as he grabbed the dude, dragging him away.

“Why don’t we get out of here, hm?”

“Yes please, it has been a long shift”

The two of you grabbed your things and headed out, going a bit farther into the desert. You were a bit suspicious, as he kept looking over at you, while quite frankly, very badly hiding a basket?

Quackity made you cover your eyes as he layed down a picnic blanket, setting down his basket of baked goods. “Here we go, babe, a picnic under the stars,” The duck man chirped, “Awe, thanks Q, you always know how to cheer me up!” You replied, placing a chaste peck on his lips.

Your boyfriend blushed at the action, “w-well, let’s get snacking? I brought your favorite!” He stuttered, you agreed, stifling a giggle at your beloved boyfriends actions.

The rest of the night was filled with laughter and stargazing, shared jokes and stories.

It was nice, you finally found people who would love you no matter what, and you were happy.

How does Calliope feel about Faye since Faye is technically her step mom?

I shared a couple snippets of Calliope learning about Faye; you can find them here! I think Calliope would initially feel upset because Faye is Kratos' second wife, and it would sound like he's moved on from Lysandra (and Calliope by extension). However, in my fic, she doesn't really focus much on Faye at the start; she focuses more on Atreus because he's actually with her in the flesh, whereas Faye starts off as a faceless entity.

Then Atreus starts telling Calliope stories about his mom, and she sees his portrait of Faye, as in the snippets I shared XDD In Calliope mind, Faye takes on a mystical guardian-like presence: someone who will protect you, but also someone to be in awe of because she's a mysterious figure. After all, she's a Giant! She has a magical axe! And she takes away bad dreams in Calliope's dreams!

I feel like part of why Calliope likes Faye so much is because Calliope loves Atreus XDD If they didn't have such a good sibling bond, she either wouldn't care much or would probably just dislike Faye. But Calliope sees Atreus as a very good person and brother, so knowing that Faye raised him for most of his life really raises her in Calliope's esteem.

Not to mention Calliope hears so many favourable stories of Laufey the Just that it really heightens the mystical guardian image loll like a knight in shining armour! Sindri and the dwarves have their version of Faye, and so do the Giants in Ironwood. Meanwhile, Atreus shares the calm, motherly stories of Faye, and I think Calliope would enjoy those the most <333
