Thinking about the ddlc girls as a system, the literature club is their headspace, they each have separate rooms along the school corridor.
Monika is a gatekeeper who wants to keep the system/trauma knowledge hidden.
Sayori is a depression symptom holder and host, she suspects they're a system but gets a headache thinking about it.
Yuri is a BPD symptoms holder and gets very confused and angry as to why her knife collection keeps moving and why she feels like someone is controlling her
Natsuki is a trauma holder and age slider, she puts on a brave face but is easily upset and fronts most often around their father, although Monika tried to protect her from the memories.

Shinji Ikari, who’s basically the poster child for shitty anime dads;
Lucas, whose relationship with his absentee father is so complicated it warranted an entire headcanon post;
The Elric brothers, whose dad’s actions had good intentions but still fucked them up ( moreso Ed but still );
and N, whose dad is a fucking cult leader ecoterrorist!

eddie’s relationship with their father, judd, is incredibly strained and complicated. judd loved his kid and felt that “tough love” was the way to go. he didn’t want eddie being bullied or ridiculed any more than they already were so they had many spats about eddie’s behavior. he called eddie homophobic slurs for their interest in fantasy. yelled at him for drawing on the walls while margot, eddie’s mom, encouraged it. he struck eddie across the face when they used kool aid to dye their hair. frequently told them to “man up.” he was, however, proud when eddie defended themselves from bullies in fights and engaged in “bonding” by teaching him to hotwire cars. as eddie grew, so did their resentment for judd & the desire to include him in their life shrunk.

first of all thank you for responding i love you forever and ever ☹️♥️♥️♥️
yeah :( i haven’t seen him in months and i’m just so nervous i’m gonna fawn and be scared of him instead of being firm and strong :( like he’s so unbelievably evil and every time i hear about him i’m even further convinced but being forced to be around him for the first time in a long time is going to suck either way i feel like. so all i can do i think is try to do my best and stay away from him
i know for a fact he’s gonna try and talk to me & likely say something snide to provoke me so that i react explosively / negatively so it’s gonna take everything i have in me to just give him absolutely nothing 😭 like go girl give us nothing!!!

Dark Platonic! Rich Father x Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cecil, your father, was a teen dad, working two jobs to provide for you until he decided to take a loan from the bank to open a small business.
It only took him six years to become the richest man in the country.
All that happened, because Cecil wants you to have the best life.
No father wants their child to live in poverty.
As you grow older, you realise how your father became more possessive and controlling.
He homeschooled you and paid for the best tutors in fear that someone might take advantage of you.
Cecil would provide you with the best food, education, and clothes you need.
However, if you want an allowance, then you have to earn it by...
Respecting him and doing as he tells you.
Going with him to the company and helping him with paper work.
Just so he can keep watching you.
If you misbehave, you will be locked up for a week without any connection to the outside world, you will only receive your meals.
You cannot go out without him or without being surrounded by at least three bodyguards.
He tried to be your friend, so you don't have any friends, but it seems like you always felt uneasy in his presence.
At the age of fifteen, you called child protective services on him after your father threatened to lock you up for a whole month if you didn't cut off your friendships.
Unfortunately, CPS did nothing because Cecil managed to convince them with his money that you are mentally unstable.
"I'm really disappointed in you, you have lost my trust, (Y/n)"

Call me dad
warnings: suggestion of forced turning, reader refuses to call Muzan dad, the upper moons are scared, reader is tied up, reader is tied up. GN reader
Kofi
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reader hated Muzan with a burning passion.
They hated how Muzan got angry when they didn't call him dad.
They hated how his anger was never directed towards them.
It made Reader feel like they weren't justified in their anger. But what they hated more was the forced cuddle time.
"I hate this." Reader mumbled, Muzan was having a meeting but since it was at the same time as cuddle time. Reader had to attend, they were tied up unable to leave his lap. It would feel domestic if Reader ignored the restraints.
The upper moons tensed. Muzan turned to Reader with sharp yet concerned eyes. "Are the restraints too tight?"
"I don't want to be here." Reader mumbled. "It's too loud., Muzan"
"Is it?" Muzan mumbled. "How sensitive you are, my dear but it's dad remember." Reader rolled their eyes. "Don't worry, I'll punish those pests for disrupting our cuddle time."
Reader scoffed and mumbled: "I think they should be rewarded instead."
Muzan's grip on them became stronger. "Don't say such foolish things unless you want confinement." Reader couldn't help but chuckle. "And you say I am sensitive Muu-zan~!"
It felt like a victory every time he got pissed, the upper moons terrified faces made it all worth it. "It 's dad, preferably papa." Muzan hissed.
"Oh, it is now?" Reader hummed with a grin. Muzan dragged his nails on Reader's shoulder. "It won't be when I die."
Douma looked up scared, the other uppermoons looked at Reader with wide eyes. "Are you threatening me with your death?"
They grinned. "Well, it is the one thing you can't control." Reader whispered in his ear for dramatic effect. "Is it? Perhaps I should turn you now."
Reader's eyes hardened. "As if you would." Muzan didn't want to turn them until they were an adult". But the more Reader opposes him, the more he wants to turn them. "Oh, I will."
Their young demon self would need guidance and would be under his full control. And he could command them to call him papa.
and he will take that opportunity gladly

Headcanon / meta: Lucas’s relationship with Flint.
Tumblr media
Before losing Hinawa, Flint was never a bad dad. He was just as present as Hinawa was in raising the boys. He played with them, helped them when they were sad, told them he was proud of them — did all the things that a dad should do.
Of course, he wasn’t perfect; he was a human being, after all. Sometimes he came across as stern, sometimes he would lose control of his temper. But he was never, at his core, a bad person. Even when he and Hinawa argued, as parents do, there was never anything malicious or even outright abusive in the family. Lucas and Claus looked up to Flint.
It really wasn’t until the night of Hinawa’s death that things started to change. When Flint heard the news and lost his temper completely, physically lashing out at everyone around him — that was the first time Lucas saw something wrong.
In the immediate aftermath of Hinawa’s death, Flint was there when Lucas cried. He had to be. Lucas would even sleep in Flint’s bed when he had nightmares. But that was a man putting on a brave face for his child when he, too, was hurting. He was also trying to cope, but when Claus vanished, that was when things started to gradually change.
Even as Flint started spending more and more time visiting Hinawa and looking for Claus, he did still come home at night. He slept in the house and made sure Lucas was housed, clothed, and fed. Even if he spent a whole day out of the house — sometimes even a couple of days, searching high up in the mountains — he did eventually come home at night. But that’s the bare minimum for a child who’s also coping with the loss of his family, still trying to come to terms with everything.
In the three years following Hinawa’s death, Lucas took it upon himself to learn to cook, clean, feed the sheep when it was clear Flint would be out for a night. It wasn’t often that these skills became necessary, but it was better to know how to do them than not.
It was really Flint’s lack of emotional availability that took a toll on Lucas. At such a young age, it’s hard to fathom that your parents are human, and not perfect like you thought they were as a child. So as Lucas grew up, he always tried to rationalize why this man that was a role model for him was suddenly less present in his life. Dad’s also sad. He’s visiting Mom a lot because he loves her. He’s not giving up on Claus, and that’s a good thing, it means he loves Claus. He’s not a bad dad because he’s not actively mean.
But Lucas does harbor some negative emotions towards Flint that he’s in denial of. He suppresses them, mostly, but they rear their ugly heads every now and then. The most prominent instance of this is the incident on Tanetane Island, where Lucas had to literally stare the hurt and fear Flint caused in the face. What did you do to Hinawa? Daddy’s gonna beat you, boy. Of course, Lucas knew rationally that Flint had never hit him and wouldn’t. But these were deep, unconscious fears. They’re reflections of the worst of Flint that Lucas internalized. Flint dedicating his time to Claus. Flint beating the ground and lashing at the other adults around him when he learned Hinawa died.
Tanetane Island aside, usually these emotions simmer quietly, because Lucas doesn’t want to hate Flint. But sometimes they do come out. When Lucas said “bald as a bean” was a stupid way to describe Flint’s baldness, all the bottled up negativity burst out. He’s not a bitter person. He just had three years to harbor all of this bitterness, and learning about his brother was just the finger pulling the trigger that let it out.
Lucas ultimately wants things to be better between him and Flint, but there are a lot of things that he still needs to come to terms with about his feelings toward him. He needs to realize it’s okay to love but still be critical of his parents. It’s okay to hold onto the happy memories of Flint in his childhood while still acknowledging the hurt he feels now, in the present. He’s still struggling with this nuance. Maybe it’s his young mind learning that people are complicated — maybe he’s clinging onto the only family he has left.
