this is such a niche grievance but I find it so odd that clothing models are overwhelmingly thin and tall when most people quite literally dont look like that. why are we showing clothing on an outlier? they do not represent what most people look like and therefore they do not represent what this garment will look like on their body. why would I buy your garment with basically no idea on how it will fit me? how does that at all make sense

The loneliness! Ah! very real. Like, lowkey same with the best friend thing. She's family to me,,, but somehow its easier to call her family than it is to call her an actual friend... if that makes sense?

But more on the loneliness thing! You ever find yourself like,,, grateful for it? I feel like so often its so,,, freeing? Sometimes i see the ways people are real "held back" so to speak, especially by the desperation to end that loneliness? Attaching yourself to people you'd rather not/prob shouldn't just so you aren't alone. I get it, i know what its like to not be lonely. Its nice! but some people seriously are not worth that absence of loneliness.

I'm much happier now "lonely" than I was when I kept *their* company. And now i know im stronger than i thought! Like i can carry myself. Having help is nice, but i can do it myself. It'll always taste a biiiiit bitter- but like coffee its an acquired taste. It grows on you. I'll always be that (not) girl walking the track alone in recess. She's okay tho, the teachers never catch the books she sneaks outside heehee

i get it! im sorry your "friend" doesn't treat you like one either. it isn't right and it isn't fair

im not yet at the point where im grateful for it, because it's just still really hard to be so lonely. im held back both by my devotion to someone who treats me poorly and also because i have a hard time doing things alone, so im not really having a good time with her and im also not really having a good time without her. sometimes she's worth it but sometimes she says things that are so hurtful that it really takes a toll on me but i have to swallow it because she can't take criticism. so im still at the point where im desperate for something that's sometimes harmful rather than nothing at all because I pretty much only hang out with her because I don't have many other friends.

im so happy for you that you feel freer and like you can carry yourself. and we can be not girls walking the track together and talking about books :) books were my earliest friends <3
