This was vaguely inspired by Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast, my love of Apollo being slightly inhuman, and my wish to give Meg a giant sword. This is what happens when you mix too many ideas together, guys.

The working story I came up with while I was drawing this is Apollo was cursed by Zeus a la Beauty and the Beast to be, well, a beast (Zeus is worried Apollo will bc more worshiped than him, what better way to prevent that than making him look like a demon? Fullproof) Apollo hides in shame bc he's dramatic like that, Meg finds him while running away from Nero, shenanigans ensue. I also liked the idea that since this would be set in ye olden days, glasses wouldn't exist, so any interaction between Meg and Apollo would go as follows.

Apollo: How can you bear ... to even look upon me ... such a monstrous figure ....

Meg, squinting really hard: Wait are you wearing a mask or is that just your face.

anyways lighter version under the cut so you guys can see some more detalis.

Spring/summer 2024 fashion favorites

As we head into the swing of spring (and summer), let’s dive into what we can love to see as the weather gets warmer!

1.MINIMALIST BASE MAXIMALIST JEWELRY RUFFLES

This is a classic banger. You can go wrong with a little juxtaposition to balance out the look. Starting with a basic foundation of great structured clothing, ideally with a solid color, juxtaposed by some maximalist jewelry as a way to explore and express yourself with fashion. How chic!

2.RUFFLES

It’s so light and feminine, perfectly emblematic of the lovely spring and summer weather ahead. Oftentimes perfectly structured to add just the right amount of dimension to an otherwise simple outfit. Ruffles are the perfect tactile and fun design you just might want to add to your closet for the season.

3.DRESSING TO THE NINES

Transcending the spring/summer restrictions, overdressing should be adopted across all seasons. Enough of the sweats and errand uniform, the goal now is to look a little too good. Of course it’s important to dress for your environment. I cannot in good conscience suggest that you go hiking in a high heel sandal and floor length skirt, but elevating your look just for everyday life is the ultimate life hack. You can still be overdressed without sacrificing comfort, so focus on looking good and feeling great.
