Arc-V Month Extra Prompt 3: Doodlebook - Uh Uh Uh!
@arcvmonth
Fanmade cards! I made a bunch of those a while back for the Infinite Loops Project on Spacebattles, and I really want to share them! Honestly I forgot about this extra prompt until I saw it on my dash today, so here it goes! Get ready for a bunch of cards!
Cards under Read More because there are SO MANY.
Keep in mind, I designed these based on the ANIME effects, not the real life ones!
First of all, let’s start with some Lyrical Luscinia cards I designed!
For the Lyrical Luscinia cards, I wanted their Rank Ups to reflect the theme of escalating civil arrest that Shun’s cards do, but with more of a focus towards unity that conflict itself. So it goes Assembly-Protest-Riot-Revolt. I haven’t gotten to use Revolt in a fic yet, but I’m looking forward to it!
As for the main deck monsters, I hit Google and various websites to search for blue-coloured gemstones, as the cards in Ruri’s main deck all follow the blue theme! I stuck with level one monsters that Ruri already uses. Their main purpose was to make a 40 card Lyrical Luscinia only deck possible, which it did!
I also created some exlusive support for the Archetype to further enable the combos.
I know I did not include summoning conditions for the Xyz monsters - oversight on my part, as I figured Rank Ups would be the only feasable way to pull them off. Same as Assembly Nightgale, but change the levels, I guess?
Lyrical Luscinia - Protest Nightingale
Rank: 2
Attribute: WIND
Type: Winged Beast, Xyz, Effect
ATK: 0
DEF: 0
EFFECT: This card gains 200 ATK for every Overlay Unit attached to it. This card can attack directly a number of times each Battle Phase, up to the number of Overlay Units attached to it. During either player's turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect, detach one Overlay Unit instead. You take no damage from that battle, and half the negated Battle Damage is dealt to the opponent as Effect Damage. If this card was Xyz Summoned using an Xyz monster as material, destroy one Spell or Trap on the field.
Lyrical Luscinia - Riot Nightingale
Rank: 3
Attribute: WIND
Type: Winged Beast, Xyz, Effect
ATK: 0
DEF: 0
EFFECT: This card gains 300 ATK for each Overlay Unit attached to it. This card can attack directly a number of times during the Battle Phase, up to the number of Overlay Units attached to it. During either player's turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle or a card effect, detach one Overlay Unit instead. You take no damage from this battle, and the negated Battle Damage is dealt to the opponent as Effect Damage. If this card was Xyz Summoned using an Xyz monster as material, destroy up to two Spell or Trap cards on the field.
Lyrical Luscinia - Revolt Nightingale

During either player's turn, if this card is to be destroyed by battle or card effect detach one Overlay Unit and negate the destruction. You take no battle damage from this battle, and the opponent is dealt effects damage equal to the amount of battle damage negated x2. If this card was Xyz Summoned using an Xyz monster on the field as material, destroy 3 Spell and/or Trap cards on the field.
Lyrical Luscinia - Apatite Dove

When you control a "Lyrical Luscinia" Xyz monster, you can use it as material to special summon a "Lyrical Luscinia" Xyz monster that's one rank higher. (This summoning is treated as Xyz summoning). This card is then attached to the summoned Xyz monster as an Overlay Unit.

When this card is attached to an Xyz monster as an Overlay Unit, that monster cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects.
Rank-Up-Magic - Lyrical Force
TYPE: Quick-Play Spell
If a "Lyrical Luscinia" Xyz monster under your control was destroyed this turn and sent to the Graveyard, pay half your life points, special summon the destroyed card, and then special summon a "Lyrical Luscinia" Xyz monster that's one rank higher with this card as material. This special summon is trated as an Xyz Summon. When a monster is successfully Xyz summoned with this effect, you may attach as many level 1 "Lyrical Luscinia" monsters from your graveyard to that card as Overlay Units as possible.
Lyrical Luscinia - Flock Cloud
TYPE: Continuous Trap
When you control a "Lyrical Luscinia" Xyz monster, your opponent cannot declare a direct attack.
This is it for the Lyrical Luscinia cards, but I’m not done! Let’s check out a little thing I made for Yuto as well!
Supreme King Dragon Knight - Phantom Rebellion Lance
Type: Dragon, Fusion, Effect
Attribute: DARK
LV: 7
ATK: 2500
DEF: 2000
Summoning conditions: [1 Warrior-type monster] and [1 Dragon-type Xyz monster]

When this card is destroyed: target one of it's Xyz fusion materials in the graveyard: remove the other fusion material, and then special summon the targeted card. This card is then attached to the monster special summoned by this effect as an Overlay Unit. If a card with "Rebellion" or "Requiem" in its name was used as fusion material this card’s fusion material, this card gains the following effect: When this monster battles a LV 5 or higher monster: halve that monster's ATK, and the removed number is added to this card's ATK until the end of the battle.
And finally, a few more generic use cards, for the same fic!
Extra Dimension Gate
TYPE: Quick-Play Spell
When you control one or more monsters: Special summon one monster from your Extra deck by using the monster(s) on your field as material(s), as long as they fulfill the summoned monster's summoning conditions. This Special Summoning is treated as the monster's respective summoning method. When the monster summoned by this effect is sent to the graveyard: banish it.
Jammed Reload
TYPE: Normal Spell
Discard up to three Level 1 monsters from your hand. Draw an equal number of cards from your deck. You cannot activate the effects of any of the cards drawn by this effect in the turn this effect was activated.
And that’s all! I hope you found them interesting! Yes, I know some of these are broken (especially Jammed Reload), but hey, fanfiction.

Idea for a fanmade Leitner inspired by a different post I just saw:
Leitner that's a "Where's Waldo" book (no, not "Where's Wally", its a US originated Leitner, and if you complain out loud about it not being "Where's Wally" before reading it fucking explodes your head the second you open it) where as soon as you spot Waldo in the first page, in each subsequent page he gets more and more obvious to spot as he gets closer and closer to the viewer. His usual smile starts flattening out the closer he gets until his face is dead center, taking up a majority of the page with a blank look on his face staring directly into your eyes and you know for a fact that he's looking at you and actually seeing you.
Then you start noticing Waldo in different books that are definitely not copies of "Where's Waldo". And in the background of TV shows. And Movies. And then in real life crowds. And he's always getting closer. Always with that blank, haunted stare from the last page of the original Leitner.
And then, fuck, idk, he kills you or something???
Oh no, waitwaitwait, you end up as one of the people in the crowd in the "Where's Waldo" Leitner, as Waldo gets closer to the viewer the people in the crowd around him start looking more and more openly horrified and outright distressed to the point of visibly sobbing and screaming and those are the people who've read the book before and got McLeitnered™
Idk man it's almost 1 am here, take my podcast brain worms
