i dont believe in the 'dazai goes back to the pm' theory but like.... if kunikida stays in the ADA and dazai goes back to the port mafia it would be The kunizai arc. kunikida having to choose between his ideals and his partner??? dazai having to leave the pm of his own volition instead of having oda/something else force his hand (showing that he's changed since his port mafia days/developed as a character)??? acknowledging how much kndz care about each other??? dazai n kouyou interacting and talking about how neither of them could escape the pm???

You'd think Kunikidazai would be more popular than Soukoku purely because of the fact that these two are two of the very first characters introduced.

#bungou stray dogs #always stay bitter about butchered EE adaptation in this house #unfortunately i think at the time of the first season they still hadn't decided how they were going to adapt the light novels #seasons 2 and 4 (leading into 5) adapt lns at the start that connect in some way to their respective present day arcs #s3 was just..... them wanting that skk bank #but i guess since EE is Dazai and Kunikida solving a case at the ada and they're only 2 years younger than the present #they thought they could make it fit by weaving it into the present #but then of course the other lns in the other seasons are very clearly In The Past with much younger versions of characters/dead characters #so they had no choice but to make those stay separate from the manga arcs #none of this is an excuse though because the light novels just fucking never should have been part of the seasons to begin with #they should have been separate movies #it wouldn't fix the anime's tone issues but it at least would have allowed them to keep all the scenes intact #but bones be bones so lol #going by their system i think maaaaybe if they'd had an extra episode they could have put EE at the end of season 1 as its own arc #but as was mentioned i'm sure they didn't wanna pull away from Atsushi for too long #which makes sense bc as unfathomable as it is to me i've seen ppl complain about dark era and wanting to just get back to atsushi 😭😭😭 #anyway there were certainly ways they could have done it and kept the whole dazai incriminating himself angle if they cared enough #it wouldn't have been as impactful/made as much sense without dazai being a brand new member #but it would have been better than what we got at least

Headcannon that whenever Atsushi hallucinates the Headmaster when Akutugawa's around. Akutugawa will ask where the man is standing, and death glares him.

It won't make him go away of course, but it makes Atsushi laugh. It gives him a moment of amusement and reminds him he's not alone.

💖: What is your biggest unpopular opinion about the series?

This doesn't feel like it's an unpopular opinion to people who are already Crestoria fans lol, but, Crestoria is incredible, and one of the best Tales stories to exist. I stand by this even though it's incomplete. It is an absolute masterpiece in every regard, and it will always be an utter crime that such a beautiful story was trapped in mobile game hell, and that it never got to finish as a proper console game. The manga has its ups and downs but for the most part it's doing the story justice, and I can only pray it gets to reach a conclusion in this format, although it will always deserve to be a fully fleshed-out game. </3

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

Literally can't think of anything for this.... The Crestoria fandom is so small; there isn't really much discourse or mischaracterization going on here 😭 (which is a good thing lol)
