"SCAFFOLD HUNG OVER ANOTHER MAN'S HOUSE," Toronto Star. August 19, 1912. Page 2. ---- And He Objected, and Called the Neighbor Before the Magistrate. --- CASES IN POLICE COURT ---- Sixty Days for Robbery In a Lane - Theft of Pair of Shoes Leads to Jail. ---- The grounds offered by J. J. Widdis of 640 St. Clarens avenue for bringing a charge of trespass against his next door neighbor to the south, Joseph Hookey, was that the latter had a scaffold projecting over the complainant's kitchen roof.
"He's building something new to his kitchen," Widdis told Magistrate Denison, "and he has only four inches to work on, so he bullt a scaffold to reach out over my kitchen. I don't want it there and I don't want to have anything more to do with the man."
"That's up in the air?" the Magistrate inquired: "You mean his scaffold is just above your property in the air? Has he done any damage?"
Widdis said there was some slight damage, but most of all he didn't want the neighbor's scaffold hanging above his lot. Rookey, has declared that another week will finish his work, so the court agreed that his scaffolding might exist until his building is finished. If there Is any damage that must be discussed in a civil court.
Her Honeymoon Shortened. Julia Purtie and Edward J. Hunter have now been added to those arrested for the theft of $100 from Mr. Alexander Harvey's livery at 17 Brock avenue. The two, with Alice Mack, hired a livery, and it is alleged that while Harvey was putting the horse away the money was taken from his coat pocket in the office.
To the police Julia Purtle claimed that she went to Hamilton and got married while they were searching for her. The couple appeared in the Police Court, but as Alice Mack comes up again to-morrow all will be tried on the same day.
Robbed Drunken Man. The condition of Allen McKenzie on Saturday night was such that he couldn't say how he lost two dollars, but Patrol Sergeant Brown cleared it p. also brought Charles Doran for robbery. "It was in a lane off Pearl street," the officer stated. "When I found hem there. Doran was taking the money from McKenzie's pocket. He told me the older man was his father. who had been drinking, and that he took the money from him to stop this."
Before telling this, however, Doran, who comes from Guelph, had given the officer a run and thrown the bill away during the chase.
"I know now it's a lie," Doran spoke in court, "and I apologize for the trouble I gave. You have the money back, so I guess things are square."
Somehow the court couldn't see it that way, Doran being detained for 60 days in Don Castle.
Stole Pair of Shoes. David Davis, of 131 Queen west advertises his shoes by hanging them outside the store. Henry Enright liked the ad so well that he appropriated a pair. The term is 60 days in jail.
The Crown knew so little about the case of W. J. Nigh, charging Charles Wanchop with the theft of $85 that a remand was necessary. Wanchop appeared on a summons, and the case will be investigated on the 26th.
Since John Young was trying to sell a bicycle when Detective Lewitt took him for drunkenness, the man will remain in custody for a week, while the police investigate the ownership.
"Masher" Fined $13. While a woman was walking along Sherbourne street William Woodworth seized her by the arm and passed a remark. His fine for this before Magistrate Ellis was $13.
Charles Beil, barber, seemed to require nothing quite so much as the attendance of his own tradesmen. He goes to jail for 30 days as a vagrant.
Accused of Theft. Arthur Scholes denies that while he was supposed to be working as a carpenter on the back roof of Mrs. Alice Tickett's house at 190 Garden avenue, he climbed through a window and stole two rings, one a diamond, the other a gold band.
"They say he waited until everybody had left the house," Detective Groome stated, and then made entrance through the window. Anyway the rings were missing at night."
The officer recovered the rings, but at the defendant's request there was a week's remand on bail of $1,000. The charge was housebreaking.
David Reece, a young stand-keeper in the employ of the Hanlan's Point amusements, has been committed for trial, charged with stealing $9.50 from his employers.
Six men: Kelly, Moore. Unlocke, the two Hainbeckers, and William Naylor, for looking on at a gambling game were each fined $8.
Leniency For a Boy. The fact that Emerson M. Hartney had a father to plead for him was a great relief to the youth. The young man had wandered as far as Vancouver, B.C., and when he came back to this city he was so bankrupt that he stole ten dollars from a roommate, Robert Simpson.
"But the father seems heart-broken." the Crown announced. "He's paid the money back and says its the first time the boy has stolen, I think for the father's sake you might give him another chance."
The suggestion was agreed to.

We're fighting over the Briggs & Stratton small car new car and in a pennyway and tummy f is beating on them and they don't understand it but now they're getting it it happens to a sign with this idiot all the time
Frank Castle hardcastle
Last night's events include but are not limited to the tidal wave is on the way it's still in the way and it will be here on the West Coast in about 10 hours and yeah I was going faster than 100 but a lot slower than 500 and 10 hours is 4:00 p.m. today and yes Saturday it's going to be horrible very bad.
Also have any last night was a huge battle in Maine or almost made the water of Massachusetts and New Hampshire and they hardly engaged them at all. And it was a big total loss for about 100,000 octillion s and from overseas too far is comprised about $10,000 octillion. All died the hardware is gone and they don't know what to do they're in fighting against Tommy f. That was ridiculous they said.
Also last night where approaches to our ships and they can see them they say some people can we admit scanning they have the tech some of the clones some of the Max and some of the warlock and some forgierners. And will and Bill of course. There's a lot of trouble going on nowadays and everybody's asking for it and you're looking the wrong place. His GF are being sought out globally by everybody and if you see them you'll start killing each other and it's a rule don't imitate these ladies. That might be going on too it's a huge number of them being sought no but people seeking them. Giant numbers of people are going after them ridiculous numbers, Hera chimes in and says laughing that's of that damn videos about. And that is what it's about for the most part. Is there in Katya equus area they think it's the same girl. They think it is because of race and they want to get away from us they always say it too all of them do. And ghwp used to say boy you're just a booger snot. And our son knows why yeah these are gigantic ships and he has a way to raise them and they do need him to get it done and you're going to be getting killed cuz they mutate into monsters very powerful ones and they need him intact. And the size of the ship dictates it it needs some type of anti-gravity as you call it or it's really electromagnetic manipulation and will and build an astounded it's coming from him and from him. And there are tons and tons of complaints being filed now about aliens huge numbers just saying that his kids. They looked at the babies every photo that all each one of them had about 10 to 20 times last night. And I guess you're not alone now John remillard and Hera was saying in the past I don't want to see that crap. Arrest those people who are doing it is what the order is using Alicia and John Riva Lord. So the sun says this one next door was doing it and Hera says arrest him so her son starts laughing because he doesn't have authorization to do that. There's a ton of people who are laughing it's not over yet people are trying to examine the process and interview people in hospitals and yeah people in hospitals are getting beat up most of the higher ups is true because hospital people get gone through. It's like a shouting match it's like people are deaf when you're trying to ask a questions. There's more too going on but at East side there's literally 400 octillion died last night s that is
Sweet s*** those ships are huge yeah it's out of my way stupid mother f***** means you should have that attitude with me I'm right down there tommy f says
We found that he has power too he said swear worded Tommy f starts saying don't say that stuff like that and he's down there so people going after him because they want to be down there he's got a big mouth that stupid boy of mine mack daddy says
Watching a lot of people cringe it's a lot of people to die going after ships it's a lot of people are dying going after women of his his boy this is that old age old problem and people laughing at me it's a little different.
There are so many people involved now it's not even funny he's making our cars or boats and buildings taking over all the businesses and he has these massive ships that are bigger than anything we've ever seen maybe we should look into it LOL fat lazy disgusting redheads they might even raise the queen.. to try not to look so weak they're saying that all last night get rid of this idiot get her out of there shut these idiots up.
There's several more things happening they are not reforming at New Hampshire Massachusetts line a whole bunch of them died from Poison now they're decontaminating New England as we speak they're cleaning up their act in Florida East Coast from The Storm apparently a giant title Wave is coming and the west coast is evacuating and they're cleaning up stuff as they're leaving now it's going to be worse the whole place is a disaster out there and they should be done cleaning up in Florida probably in a week there's a lot of people doing it now it's because of this tree thing. And I guess you panicked my son our son yes you did. And the same picture vantage point to see the thing really just going to see themselves fall into the ocean to get run over by a tidal wave that close that building is too close but the song is coming out today as is what it's like a lot of people can do that stupid s*** they were going to do it anyways for more will now maybe underwater it's going to be on the Street watching I love you Dad there's a lot of people like that and they're sick they can't see it on video and usually the older that's a old lady is waiting for it and that looks like around 5:00 p.m. he says it's probably true it's slowed down and she's pretty far away but she's still close enough to have stuff that flow into her and she can just go in the building I guess I might be okay but it's hydraulic pressure okay and she's only about a mile and a half from shore it's not too far but that point it's just a fully water but it's like a raging river flowing by you it's about 10 feet deep
*geostorm movie begins today and starts before the tidal wave gets there because it's cooling off the tidal wave is forcing a huge gust of wind and several of them will be felt before that huge one gets there and same with the Asia and Russia and it's going to be experienced all day and that's how the storms begin it's forcing moisture offshore
*freeze out has begun and Oregon and Washington State are far too cold they say for us to live there even and they're evacuating and telling people why they're here or elsewhere it's about -20 at night and it's not survivable and it's due to Tommy f and they know it and they hunt his clothes now actually the whole West Coast peoples do and then either houses and stuff and don't care cuz there shouldn't be topside it's their problem
*and freeze out on the East Coast as well same deal they're going after close but it's frozen down to Southern Massachusetts at -20 and at night it's about the same parallel and they are explaining we have to stop them and they actually do and they're killing them and they're pulling them out wherever they find clothes and getting Intel and they're fighting out that the ship thing is true and the refinery thing is true soon there'll be a fight there
*several movies are upcoming but this is a precursor to all of them and it is the James Bond series no it is the movies above but it's cesario and it starts today it's overcast from the title Wave moving in and they find the bodies and it's Trump who's been storing them and they start killing that stupid son of a b**** and his clones that guy's an idiot we did so many things in his nose you should have those cut off in his face and his head everything is so dumb and the whole series the whole movie starts and tonight they are shot at dinner but there's a whole bunch of stuff that happens to first day including the border crossing there's a lot of shooting a lot of fighting bank robberies by the Salma Hayek and other girls and men too and they could have the money and Trump's forces were defeated and it was a lot it was probably $100,000 octillion and there's another Forest gathering of his like that that's going to go up there and that's what he's going to use later on this morning and because his old kid are going after his ship and stupid cuz you can just go on board in run it instead he wants to kill everybody and take it for himself. It is a b**** too that guys a b**** my son says it's a positive. And he goes on and on this guy next door and is a b**** you know he said you would spell this word I won something I said well you know this is what's happening to you because of it this idiot picky Petty b***** s*** and I can't stand you I hate you this doesn't have any idea the guy that stress no clue he's so far out there is this to everybody it doesn't care and he's getting slaughtered now today he doesn't to his children and they pull them out of the wall revive them and then leaves them into victory many times cuz he knows about them the size and floating in he'll try to do it and his trained and he our son helped him. Dan then in the past has helped our son many times it turns out against his own father and he was flipped out by it. They really hates Trump and they're going to love getting rid of him when they see him out there cuz it's such an ass really had people with his mouth open it is mine it's for research researching what bang so he gets killed. And he's useless the Trump clothes are useless they advertise everything and get killed. It's exactly what happens there's nothing to argue about loser next door it's what happens.

This saturday was just as hot as any other day out here in the Outer Banks, the afternoon sky was cocktail-blue as big white clouds were completely spread out, looking like the perfect serene painting hung up in a museum. The sound of laughter filled the air whilst you laid comfortably still in the hammock at the Routledge residence. A picnic rug arranged on the ground, Kiara, Pope and Sarah were situated on it. John B sat on a folding chair. The get together was an ordinary thing between you pogues (& kook)
An almost every weekend thing when there wasn’t a kegger planned later on in the night and this was what y’all got up to on those kegger-free nights. The only person missing was JJ and it seems that the boy has been gone for the entirety of the morning.
The last time you have seen JJ was when he visited your work the other day because he was bored. You asked JB about his best friend's whereabouts but all he gave you was a shrug of his shoulders and a shook of his head.
The gang laughed at a joke John B said and was about to share another one when he was suddenly interrupted by an engine of a motorcycle stopping in its tracks, near the chateau porch.
“Oh for the love of god” You tilt your head to look at Pope, hearing his low grumble. The sight of JJ’s tall figure and a pretty girl hooked on his arm caught your eye and caused the smile on your face to drop instantly. Your emotions churned as you viewed the pretty grin on his face as he looked at her. You scrunch your nose up in annoyance.
“Here we go again..” Kie sighs, rolling her eyes when the girl lets out a loud giggle at whatever JJ just said. The two stop in front of the group, both smiling and waiting patiently for a response from either one of you. Your brows furrow at the two morons standing before you and Sarah’s arms raise a little in the air, silently asking ‘so who the fuck is this then?’
“Right! so uhh.. this is Portia” JJ says, pointing to the pretty girl beside him. You scoff silently, looking off to the side and crossing your arms against your chest.
Pope scoots a little closer to Sarah to make room for JJ and Portia. The two sit down awfully close and you feel that all too familiar feeling resurface whenever JJ brought a girl along to the pogue hangouts. JJ had been bringing home one too many girls to the chateau lately and it’s not only gotten on your nerves but the pogues as well.
You were always the first one to leave whenever JJ brought a pretty girl over and the half-assed excuses were ‘I suddenly don’t feel well’ ‘I’m so tired guys, i might hit the hay’ ‘oh shit dad called, gotta bounce’ and the pogues quickly picked up on your sudden eagerness to leave. The jealousy radiating off of you was clear as day. But today it seemed that you were too lazy to move so you sat back, and pretended to care about Portable or whatever her name was.
You were also the last one to leave because JJ practically forced you to stay longer and the group never thought much about it. Everyone on this damn island knew that you and the Maybank boy were glued at the hip, and you even once told him that you were his Elle and he was your Lee. He found the kissing booth reference cringey as hell, it always ticked him off and you never knew why.
Unbeknownst to you, the pogues came to a conclusion that you were in love with JJ and vice versa. It was like something clicked in their brains as they gathered together and connected the dots.
The lingering touches and the way JJ looked at you wasn’t hard to miss. You both barely did anything to hide your feelings for each other and the only ones who were oblivious to it were you and JJ and the blond’s recent hookups was just the icing on the cake.
Kiara was the first one to notice that the past two girls JJ invited to the chateau looked similar to you. It was the identical hairstyle and colour, the same skin tone and the height of those girls that got Kie raising her brows at JJ in suspicion.
The second person who noticed that one of those girls looked similar to you was Sarah, when one of them fell flat on her face and Sarah came running towards her, screeching your name in worry and the expression on Sarah’s face when she realized it wasn’t you was the funniest thing Kie has ever seen.
The third was John B and Pope, when John B flung himself at a sleeping girl and she jolted up awake, screaming in John B’s face in fright. That was when Pope came rushing into the guest room. At first Pope thought it was you beating up John B, and the boy doubled over in laughter but when he came face to face with the stranger his mouth fell slack.
Now Portia wasn’t any different, the pogues took notice. Portia had your hair length but the colour was just a tad bit lighter than yours and with the same facial structure, smile and eyes and the only difference was that she might be two or three inches taller, she also dressed differently. The similarities of you and the girls JJ has been macking on were uncanny to say the least. It was a big eye roll for everybody but you, who was utterly blind to it all.
“So Portia, are you on vacation here?” Pope asked. The pretty girl glanced at Pope and nodded her head nonchalantly, resuming her attention back to JJ who was making conversation with John B. Pope turned his head to look at Sarah and Kie, hoping they caught how disinterested the girl was.
Kie groans with the click of her tongue and gestures her head towards her phone, creating a secret group chat with Pope and Sarah but not before twisting her neck to look at you so you won’t see that they are planning on scheming.
Thankfully your attention was settled on John B, squinty eyes darting to Portia whenever her manicured fingers brushed JJ’s or when she played with his hair.
Kie: i have a plan
Sarah: 👀 just us 3?
Pope: what plan? as long as it won’t send any of us to jail
Kie: y’all just listen okay? we’ll fill in JB later.
☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎ ☁︎︎
It had to be about 7:30 pm by now, Portia long gone and half of you still sat outside around the hammock. John B, Pope and Sarah remained in the chateau doing god knows what.
You were in the middle of a little wrestling match with JJ, him pinning you to the picnic rug with his arms and Kie laughing along with JJ as you tried to break free from his grasp. “C’mon L/n, yield!” JJ hollers and you smack his head repeatedly with an empty coke bottle.
“Never! You fucking dweeb”
“You’re weak Y/n, weak!“
“I swear J, once you let go I’m gonna-“
“Yo JJ! Y/n! can you guys come check this out real quick?” John B calls from the front porch, distracting JJ and loosening his hold on you. You saw this as an opportunity to break free and push him off of you whilst still hitting the blond repeatedly on the head. “What was that John B? Wait- hey!” JJ grabs your wrist to stop your movements.
“Get your asses inside, i need your help!”
JJ let out a dramatic sigh and slapped both your thighs before pushing himself up onto his feet to head towards the chateau. He laughs when he hears you whine behind him, punching his back gently and throwing fake insults about how ugly he was. John B beckons the both of you to follow him into his guest room.
“Okay well there's something wrong with the closet, can you guys suss it out?” John B points to the old wooden thing. You raise a cautious brow at the brunet leaning against the wall, he’s gaze focused on JJ who began to inspect the closet, opening and closing it. You watch the blond for a minute before turning back towards John B who wasn’t in the room anymore.
“Um hey JB? what exactly am i-“ the door slammed shut, cutting you off and making you jump at the loud sound. JJ and you were quick to move towards the door, your hands banging on it whilst JJ continuously turns the door knob. “Its fucking locked!” JJ declares.
“Yo what the fuck, open this shit!”
“John B this isn’t funny what the hell!”
Various giggles were heard on the other side of the door, no doubt it being all your friends. You glance at JJ to see his eyes already on you, his face contorts into a baffled expression as if silently asking if you had anything to do with this. “Guys what the hell is going on!?”
“We are tired of you denying your feelings for each other, so we locked you both in there” Kiara speaks.
“Also tired of JJ bringing home these random girls who freaking look like you too! Seriously dude it’s not healthy and kinda creepy honestly” Pope then adds.
“Wha- look like me?! Pope, open the door now!” You twist the doorknob harshly in hopes it’ll open the door somehow but to no avail.
You crane your neck to where JJ’s figure is standing in front of the window, trying to yank the window open but it was tightly sealed shut.
“Oh and we also sealed the windows! Don’t you even try to break it JJ!” John B shouts, the gang howled aplenty of goodbyes all before proceeding to head out of the chateau, the floors creaking as they left.
Your hand comes up to pinch the bridge of your nose as your head hangs low whilst the other hand rests on your hip. An audible sigh escapes JJ and you turn around to see him sprawled out on the bed, hands behind his head with his eyes closed.
You slowly walk over to the blond and sit on the edge of the bed, facing him and poking his side.
JJ sighs and sits up, eyes connecting with yours for a moment before looking off to the side to stare out the window where he can clearly see the others, dancing away as if they didn’t just cage two of their friends in a room to talk about their ‘feelings’. JJ cringed at the thought of confessing this way but what other choice does he have? It’s not like he planned to do it anytime soon. “So uhh..” you started off.
“Are we gonna talk about it?”
“About what?”
“The elephant in the room?”
JJ scrunches up his face in confusion, still looking off to the side and fiddling with his rings. “What elephant?”
“Jesus christ JJ” you run a hand through your messy hair, pulling on it rather harshly to feel something other than the pang in your heart.
He’s always been dismissive about confessing his true feelings to you, whether that be about his father having to do with the bruises on his face or the fact that you’ve had moments with him where you almost kissed. It’s a continuous ‘deny, deny, deny’ with the boy and you're starting to get real sick with this attitude.
“What Y/n, what do you want me to say?” His hands are in the air and his facial expression is resolved into a deep frown, his pupils dilated as he stares at you densely.
With a roll of your eyes you push yourself off the bed and pace aimlessly around the room. “Why is it so hard for you to admit it?” You croak.
JJ is standing with you now, breathing intensifying when he inspects the tears welling up in your eyes. His stomach twists because he knows he’s the reasoning behind your aching heart. He wants to pull you into his arms and hold you, to stop those up-coming tears from trailing down your face but it’s like he’s glued onto the floor. He can't move, or maybe he just refuses to.
“JJ i love you..”
Everything seemed to move in slow motion and the air filled with heavy, uncomfortable silence. The sound of the others' laughter from outside felt distant, even if they weren’t that far from the chateau. When your eyes landed on JJ you thought your heart stopped beating for a second.
His eyes are trained on the floor but you can clearly see it glistening with tears as his lip wobbled. A tongue darts out to lick his bottom lip, bringing it between his teeth to chew on it to stop the quivering.
JJ felt so fucking weak. The only woman he’s ever cried over was his mother, when she left him. Her last words being the exact same ones that just passed your lips and he couldn’t help but let out a quiet sob. All JJ ever wanted was to be loved by someone he truly cares about and that someone was you.
You were there for him the day his mother left, comforted him until he stopped crying in your chest and it was also the day he felt a spark ignited in him. Though, he never knew what it was at first, until a few years later that he realized that he only felt that spark with you around.
JJ fell in love with his best friend and it terrified him greatly, because he felt like it was too good to be true. To have someone as gorgeous and terrifyingly smart to reciprocate the feelings that he did. But here you are, standing in front of him and telling him that you love him.
“JJ i have always loved you..” you knew your best friend well enough to know that hearing the word ‘love’ scared him, so you were patient. You were gentle with him as you said it. You studied him for a second. Your footsteps quick and light as you move closer to the blond.
You cup his face and bring it closer, so his forehead rests on yours.”I know how hard it is to believe that you are loved but trust me when I say that you are.You are loved by me and all of your friends Jay.. You’re perfect in every way possible and I am so in love with my best friend.”
You feel his hands land on your hips and it stays there for a second until he’s pulling you flush against his chest. Strong arms securing themselves onto your waist and his face hides in your neck, body shaking as he cries silently. “I don’t expect you to say you love me back anytime soon okay? No pressure at all baby” you murmur in his ear.
JJ sniffles a little, squeezing you in his embrace and bringing his head up to look at you. The bright lightbulb from above reflects on his structural features, making the boy look heavenly, with his red tinted cheeks and crying face.
His eyes look different, more soft than you knew eyes could be. The mesmerising blues made your stomach flutter with those damn butterflies, and all of a sudden you felt shy under his gaze. JJ lifts your chin up so your lips are only inches away from brushing across each other. He wipes a few tears that flowed down your cheeks with his thumb and rubs his nose with yours. Every little touch sends a chill down your spine.
“Those girls meant nothing to me. I hope you know that” he affirms.
“I told myself that i don’t deserve you. You deserve someone who can give you everything you wanted, someone who’s more emotionally stable and actually good enough to be seen around you..” he whispers and before you could reply he pecks your lips in a quick kiss to silent you, pulling away to continue to speak.
“That's why i brought those chicks around, because if i can’t have you then I’ll just get with girls who have the same qualities as you, which now i know sounds really fucking stupid when its said out loud.”
You snort at his speech and grab the back back of his head, attaching your lips on his in a much longer and desperate kiss, breaths mingling together passionately but before things could get heated, you push the blond backwards until the back of his knees meet the bed and he’s sitting, you throw your legs over his lap in a straddling position and cup his face in your hands once again.
“You are everything I have ever wanted JJ and you are more than good enough to be seen around me. The only person I deserve is you and I wouldn’t ask for anyone else to make me happy. I love you more than you know.” You say and place your lips on his quickly, not letting him get in a word when it seemed like he was about to say something. Probably something dumb to be quite honest.
You feel him smile through the kiss and the little sigh that escaped his lips when he pulled away shortly to lay you down on the bed, hovering above you slightly while his long blond tresses tickled your forehead.
“Thank you..”

Transcript: Live Aid backstage interview
Brian May: It was actually the BPI Awards that we went to to collect an award and Geldof was a few tables away and came over and said “How about doing this, this thing?” And he said “We’re going to have this and this and this and this.” And we said “Oh yeah, I’m sure.” You know? I think he thought it was an almost impossible thing to get together but we said “Yeah, we’d be interested.” And then a bit later when he rang up and said “Look, Brian, I have to have a commitment. You know?” And so we sort of talked about it a bit more and it seemed like we were all very keen to do it.
Interviewer: Is that because you support the cause and want to do your bit or because it’s such a unique rock even that you can’t afford to miss out in a way?
Freddie Mercury: To answer that, honestly it’s a bit of both actually. Cause I think it is a very good cause and initially I think we would have liked to have taken part in the Band Aid single but I think we were in separate parts of the globe. And so the second bash I did was this thing and also the fact that some of the biggest and best known groups around the world are taking part, why not us? So I think it makes me personally proud to be a part of it.
Interviewer: Is it difficult to choose numbers for a twenty minute set, do you find that you have to stick to your best known numbers?
Brian May: Yes, we’ve just been talking about that. It’s pretty hard to make the choice.
Roger Taylor: Yes we don’t really know quite what to do, whether to play the hits or to try and do something new, but I think in twenty minutes really we’ve got to play things that people know and will recognize, you know, in Turkey or wherever they’re watching maybe.
Freddie Mercury: So we’re still squabbling over that fact, that’s what he’s trying to say.
Roger Taylor: Rawr!
Interviewer: But the spectacle of your live performance, from the backdrops and the expansive lighting rigs, is it going to be difficult to cope with the sort of sparsity of Wembley?
Brian May: Uh well it all comes down to if you can play or not really which is nice really in a way because I think probably there’s probably an element of people who think that groups like us can’t do it without the extravagant backdrop but we’ll see, huh?
John Deacon:  *Raises eyebrows*
Interviewer: After thirteen years do you still get excited about this sort of live performance?
Freddie Mercury: This one especially.
Brian May: Yeah, it’s great.
Freddie Mercury: We still like to play and fool around.
Interviewer: And what about the number that you two are going to be performing towards the end, towards the finale? What’s the story behind that?
Freddie Mercury: Well actually it seems like, it looks as if we wrote it for this occasion, but we didn’t actually it was done a long time before that. It seems to fit the bill actually so I think they opted out and said don’t the two of us cause I mean during a Queen show that’s just the two of us *gesturing towards Brian* that actually play, Roger and John actually go and have a drink or something but so we weren’t going to do that one but it seems to be very sort of part of the show, it’s very meaningful and so we’re going to do it.
Interviewer: Tell me a little bit about it.
Freddie Mercury: Oh you tell them! *Playfully shoves Brian*
Brian May: Ah! It came about when we almost finished recording the album The Works actually and we’d been throwing stuff off because there wasn’t room for it and in the end we threw off so much that we said there’s a little hole here it just needs something. And actually Mack who’s producing us said “Why don’t you do something really simple, you know? Just write a song.” And Freddie and I were there late one night and we just came up with this thing it was very quick and we just had this particular thing in mind you know? The whole business of Africa was in our minds and that’s the way it came out.
Interviewer: Saturday is meant to be all for a good cause and there aren’t meant to be any egos involved but also-
All: *laughing and smirking*
Brian May: No egos at all, no!
Interviewer: But are so many superstars going to find it difficult to be in each other’s personal spaces?
Roger Taylor: Completely totally impossible.
Brian May: Should be hilarious.
Roger Taylor: It’s going to be chaos.
Freddie Mercury: I think it’s going to be chaotic, yes. It has to be I mean we’re not, we’re not all wonderfully well behaved kids are we? But that’s, that’s going to sort of actually be the nice part of it. There will be lots of friction and we’re all going to try to outdo each other I guess and but we’re just going to go out there and play.
Brian May: That’s right. We want to give something special really, that’s what it’s about. No the regular thing. So everybody’s going to out there giving their best and that’s what it’s about. Make some money for those people. That’s Geldof, that’s what he comes down to you know. We want to have a great time and I think we will but it comes down to the fact that it’s going to make tons of money and for a change the money’s going to go to the right place.

The slow pace has her breathing deeply for the first time in years. And the majestic scenery encourages her to get reacquainted with herself... and God. What she didn't count on was the handsome widowed cowboy who owns the ranch where her aunt lives. When the rancher loses his daughter's nanny, Abigail decides to lend a hand for the summer. A Different Kind of Man Emalea LeBlanc is a different kind of woman. Someone who won't hurt her. Jackson Cooper is the new investigator in Cypress Landing, and Emalea believes she knows his type – big, strong, overbearing. Dangerous. But Jackson has a tragic past of his own. And he's not exactly the kind of man he appears to be…. 3. A Forever Kind of Cowboy She wasn't the kind of woman who would spend the night with a stranger, yet runaway bride Lori Ashford shared one night and so much more with sexy Cord McVane. For Lori had long dreamed of sharing her heart with a strong, honorable man – a man like Cord. A Little Christmas Romance There's no such thing as second chances, and Brooke would know. This Christmas will be spent alone and uncelebrated, same as the last. It's just another day to endure, and the holiday can't pass fast enough. That is, until her old flame, Chris, spots her. After taking a picture with Brooke in her elf costume, things take an unexpected turn. Maybe getting through the night won't be so difficult after all. 5. A Voice in the Dark No one knew what Noah Graydon looked like, but they'd all heard the rumors. How he'd been broken, even scarred, on his last case. The rescue gave her a glimpse into his world of shadows – yet she dared to want more. To really know if the passion between them was real. They would have to come face-to-face if the killer was to be caught – and Noah could only conceal his body from Angel for so long... 6. Blake Kemp was a man who knew his own mind and was as stubborn as the day is long in Jacobsville, Texas. As the town's leading lawyer, he had a reputation to uphold, and he didn't want the tender ministrations of his assistant to get in his way -- even if he desperately needed her, since those big boots of his did have a tendency to step on toes... Making Him Sweat Round 1: In this corner is admittedly romantic Jenna Wilinski, who's inherited a rather seedy boxing gym from her estranged father. With it, she can realize her dream of launching an upscale matchmaking business…provided she can take on the very intimidating – and wickedly hot – boxer who stands in her way! Round 2: In the far corner is former pro boxer Mercer Rowley. He's the only one who can protect his "home" – even if it is a little run-down – from his determined and feisty little opponent. But man, once the gloves come off, his hands just want to touch her everywhere… Round 3: This matchup is too close to call. But no matter which contender comes out on top, the other is sure to enjoy every minute of it…. 48. Marry Me at Christmas To bridal boutique owner Madeline Krug, organizing a Christmas wedding sounds like a joy - until she finds out she'll be working closely with the gorgeous brother of the bride, movie star Jonny Blaze. Refreshingly honest, disarmingly sweet. Achingly beautiful. Planning the perfect wedding leads to candlelit dinners and strolls through snow-covered streets. And Madeline finds Jonny in real life even more captivating than her celebrity crush. But will the action star be brave enough to risk his heart and step into the role of a lifetime? 49. Mischief Imogen Waterstone needed a man, and not just any man: one with an implacable will and nerves of iron. That's why she invited Matthias Marshall, the Earl of Colchester, to her home. For who better than the legendary explorer to help her lure a ruthless enemy to ruin. Yet when Imogen urges Matthias to masquerade as her spellbound suitor -- and let it be known that she possesses a priceless treasure map -- she never anticipates his electrifying response -- or her own. Suddenly, the unconventional lady is in the thrall of true passion... and vulnerable to a malevolent threat that emerges from the labyrinth of London society. 50. My Front Page Scandal Brooke Winfield is the devoted and dependable daughter of one of Boston's oldest families. So what is she doing on the back of a motorcycle in the middle of the night with sexy bad-boy ballplayer David Carrera? Elated by that recklessness, Brooke decides she's ready to take a Martini dare--and what a dare! Her performance at a posh strip club lands her back in David's arms for another unforgettable night... and in the tabloids the next morning.

Homecoming Part 1 preview
This is a two-night event, with Part 1 on Saturday, July 24 (7pm EDT) and Part 2 on Sunday, July 25 (also 7pm EDT). Each show is available to stream live on Fite.tv for $13.99 apiece. Or you can order the weekend pack to get both shows for $21.99.
I won't have a lot to say about this card because it'll be my first time watching GCW and I don't know most of the guys. But I have plenty to say about the main event.
Nick Gage vs. Matt Cardona - Gage is defending the GCW world title. Cardona still has the internet championship he made up when he was Zack Ryder, but that's not on the line. I can't find any information about the rules, but I have to assume there will be no count-outs or disqualifications.
Cardona is a former WWE Superstar that runs a podcast about collecting toys. Gage is convicted felon that wrestles in broken glass. In May they exchanged a series of tweets that ensured wrestling fans would back one and loathe the other. At a June 5 GCW show Gage called out Cardona, who wasn't there. On the next day's show, a mystery man laid out Gage and seemed to be Jon Moxley (Gage has many enemies for some reason) until he unmasked to reveal he was Cardona. So suddenly Cardona had nuclear heat with the GCW fans. Now Cardona is acting all big-league, as if it shouldn't be hard to beat Gage but he'd really rather not get into all of Gage's deathmatch stuff.
The obvious selling point here is to see Cardona massively underestimate Gage and get fucking destroyed. But on a different level, there's a perverse fascination with how Gage's fans would revolt if Zack Ryder of all people took the GCW title from him. The best part is that both guys are sure to benefit from the feud. Cardona can lose and still gain the respect of a whole new audience if he takes a few deathmatch spots and proves his grit. Gage can lose and create an archrivalry with a worldwide star that will only elevate his profile. Consider that GCW has been doing a slow burn all year for Gage-Moxley, and Gage is booked to wrestle Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite, but this is the match everyone's talking about.
I have to say I'm rooting for Cardona. It'll be fun watching him take all kinds of Nick Gage offense, but I really, really want to see him become the GCW champion and spend a couple of months gloating about being the king of deathmatches or whatever. Woo woo woo, you know it.
Alex Colon vs. Drew Parker - This match is for Colon's GCW ultraviolent championship. Parker actually just won the BJW deathmatch title in Big Japan, but I assume that belt is not at stake. Again, no idea what the rules for this are, but you gotta figure an ultraviolent title is always contested without count-outs or disqualifications.
So if this match and Gage-Cardona are both deathmatches, then I'm curious how they coordinate all the spots and stuff. In the big leagues it's a faux pas if two matches on the same show feature the same big move or a spot with the same weapon. With companies like GCW and CZW, I wouldn't know, because I only ever hear about one crazy match on each show. In theory you'd want Colon and Parker to tone it down so they don't outshine the main event. In practice, I don't know how you tell the ultraviolent champion and the deathmatch champion to "tone down" anything.
I have no idea who should win this, but it feels like Parker shouldn't lose right after winning that BJW title, so I'll go with him.
G-Raver & Jimmy Lloyd vs. Mance Warner & Matthew Justice - Raver and Lloyd are defending the GCW tag team title.
G-Raver nearly bled to death in a 2019 match, which led to Jim Cornette saying something tasteless, which led to Raver making a "Fuck Jim Cornette" shirt, which led to a rather amusing lawsuit. Lloyd is the dude who wore a GCW shirt to Wrestlemania this year, and "joined" WWE's Hurt Business when they made him change his shirt. So I like these guys already.
I mainly know Mance from seeing him on MLW, where he seemed like a pretty cool good ol' boy. I can't find much on Justice, but he based his name on the Metallica album ...And Justice For All. So both teams have some pretty solid points. Maybe they can all be friends and share the tag belts! (I'm pretty sure they won't.)
2 Cold Scorpio vs. Grim Reefer - I first saw 2 Cold nearly 30 years ago, so when I heard that he was still wrestling after he left WWE I thought "wow, he must be kinda old, but he can still go." That was maybe 20 years ago, though. I had no idea he was still wrestling now. Luckily for him, there's been a renaissance of old guys running around, so even though he's 55 you can plausibly hope he's held up more like Christian Cage than Bill Goldberg.
As for his opponent, I guess Grim Reefer enjoys the mari-ja-wana, but I don't care because EVERYBODY HERE COMES 2 COLD SCORPIO~!
Marko Stunt vs. Starboy Charlie - Mark is the scrawny little guy on AEW. Charlie is another scrawny little guy who is not in AEW. Guess who wins.
Tony Deppen vs. Ninja Mack - I just saw Deppen lose the ROH television title a couple of weeks ago, but I couldn't tell you a thing about him. When I went to look up Ninja Mack, I was hoping he'd just be some white guy wearing a T-shirt and a black mask over his face doing a ninja pose, and I was not disappointed. Clearly Mack has the superior "made my own guy in a WWE video game" gimmick, so I'm pulling for him.
AJ Gray vs. Nolan Edward - Gray is a former GCW world champion. Edward is only 23 years old. I don't know if this is supposed to be Edward stepping up to a big name or Gray sliding down to working with prelim guys. Guess I'll find out.
Dante Leon vs. Atticus Cogar vs. Jack Cartwheel vs. Brayden Lee vs. Jordan Oliver vs. Shane Mercer - This is billed as a scramble match. I'm not sure what that means in GCW. I'm going to guess that it's just a standard six-way match where the first person to score a fall wins. Everything I can find about GCW scramble matches suggests that it's less about the rules than about crazy spots.
I'm not familiar with any of these guys and I get the feeling this match will not be a way to get to know any of them as individuals. I guess I'll pick Jack Cartwheel to win because that's a hell of a name.

March 29, 2021
This past Friday we played our final home game against Garner High, and it was a really close game. It was also senior night so before the game started all the seniors were recognized and took some pictures. They called everybody’s name out and where each of us plans on attending college, which for me was UNC Charlotte. I got in the game for two kickoff returns. The first one didn’t go well and I got hit pretty hard but wasn’t hurt or anything. The second return resulted in me blocking my guy and allowing for our returner to get to our 40 yard line, the best field position we’ve gotten all year. We lost 34-29, but the whole game was exciting and suspenseful. I spent the entirety of Saturday with the Green Level Youth, which was super fun. We played flag football all morning, and Newcomb in the afternoon at Harris Lake. The group consisted of me, Raegan, Drew, Tristen and his friend Aiden, Spencer and Nolan, Ethan, Maie, Alex, Sarah and Richard, and Aaron and Ashley. We went for a walk at one point that resulted in Drew, Tristen, and Aiden swimming back to our picnic shelter, which was really bizarre. Afterwards we went back to the church and ate hot dogs nd cheese balls. We played Mafia and a little more flag football, but it started raining. Once it quit we went out and played Capture the Flag in the dark, which ended in a lot of us being covered in mud and hosing ourselves down. Yesterday I had church and worked on my test boards for my Eagle project, which took a while but was pretty interesting. I took a break at around one and met Penelope at Apex Community park. She has a concussion from a soccer practice so she has to go for a walk everyday, and she asked me to join her. We spent most of the two miles talking about going back to school and puppies because there were a ton of people out with their dogs. Finally today I worked on cutting the slots on those test boards again for a bit before going to lunch with Uncle Gray. Him and I talked about his job at Cisco, which seems fairly interesting. I’m not sure if it’s something I’d want to pursue as a career so I’m going to look more into it, but his Networking job seems so much better than just straight programming. He showed me some of what he does and what he uses, and explained some of the basics about how all networks are connected. Afterwards I had football which went alright. It was a pretty regular practice except I got to play some Cornerback, and ended up making one of our receivers mad with some lockdown coverage. When that was over I went to scouts, where we spent the majority of the time playing kickball. Mack and I were talking about going to his house for the night sometime soon, so hopefully I’ll be able to do that.

With Tom Herman on the hot seat, what’s Texas’ next move?
Texas’ 23-20 house loss to No. 13 Iowa State on Friday also can double as a Rorschach check on the way you view the tenure of Texas coach Tom Herman. Is he shut, so achingly shut, to the highest of the Huge 12? Or is Texas rising as this season’s definitive drama main a symptom of a program caught in impartial?
The loss dropped Texas to 5-Three and formally nudged Herman onto the recent seat, as he’s 30-18 in his fourth season in Austin. And the way you view this white-knuckle Texas season — identical to the newest white-knuckle loss — also can double for the way you view Herman.
There’s loads of proof that the Longhorns are on the cusp of competition within the Huge 12, because the game-tying 57-yard area aim barely lacking the uprights as time expired on Saturday reveals. If that had gone via and Texas found out a option to win in time beyond regulation, Texas nonetheless may have superior to the convention title sport and received the league. And Herman doubtless would have been secure.
However the optimists who see issues that means haven’t been vocal.
The flip aspect of Rorschach check is that this Texas season may also be seen via the prism of persistent missed alternative. The Longhorns have been beset by continual particular groups errors and entered the Iowa State sport ranked No. 120 within the nation in penalties per sport. From an ill-advised pretend punt to a failure to kick a area aim to go up seven with eight minutes remaining to baffling play-calling when making an attempt to finish the sport on its second-to-last possession, Herman left himself extensive open to sport administration second-guessers.
In the end, the case towards Herman at Texas is that there was little from this system the previous two seasons that has seemed to be elite. Simply because Texas has been shut — like within the LSU sport final yr — doesn’t imply it’s near the nationwide title competition its fan base calls for. And turning the momentum when issues go fallacious at Texas is akin to trying to bench press utilizing solely your pinkies, as each decommitment turns into deafening and each destructive second delivered via a megaphone.
Story continues
Texas went 8-5 final yr and is on its option to one other middling season. And, in the end, it will likely be as much as athletic director Chris Del Conte, who didn’t rent Herman, to decide on his coach’s future. “Del Conte is feeling the strain,” mentioned a high-ranking Texas supply.

A choice on Herman’s future is not going to come with out consternation. He’s owed greater than $15 million if he’s fired, and the whole potential payout to the workers is sort of $24 million. That’s an enormous quantity throughout a pandemic, particularly for a group that had a official shot for the league title on Thanksgiving weekend.
Herman received the Sugar Bowl over Georgia after the 2018 season (10-4) and has finished so much to improve and modernize this system after Mack Brown’s tenure wheezed to the end and Charlie Robust’s by no means actually received going. The recruiting division has been upgraded and the ancillary components of this system – analysts, social media, graphics, video – really feel like a high-end Energy 5 program. The soccer, for no matter purpose, has but to catch up.
So how does Del Conte view Herman? He has been comparatively silent on the subject, and if any second cried out for vocal help it might have been within the buildup to this sport. Smoke about Texas trying to rent City Meyer has been floating via Austin for weeks. There was a simple option to clear the smoke.
Del Conte, who didn’t return a telephone name Friday night time, additionally didn’t vocally again the Texas gamers throughout the “Eyes of Texas” controversy earlier this yr. He selected the choice of the boosters that the track, which has racist origins, nonetheless be performed after video games. In different phrases, he sided with the cash over the group. Maybe he knew which he’d want extra come December.
It’s clear that Meyer can be Texas’ goal it it moved on from Herman. It’s not almost as clear if Meyer would have curiosity in returning to the sideline, as he has thrived in his new function as an analyst for Fox and nonetheless must make a well being resolution. Bear in mind, it was an enlarged congenital arachnoid cyst in Meyer’s head that helped result in his retirement, and whether or not he desires to take the well being threat that accompanies teaching would weigh massive on any resolution.
If Meyer doesn’t need the job, there’s no simple reply as to whom Texas would rent. And that is Del Conte’s greatest drawback. That is an establishment that covets large names, because it lengthy lusted after Nick Saban. However Saban by no means went, partially due to the dearth of alignment in management that has undercut Texas soccer the previous decade. There’s no promise issues line up the subsequent decade, both.
Individuals bear in mind Mack Brown made it to 2 BCS title video games, successful in 2005, however neglect he received the Huge 12 simply twice in 16 years. Bob Stoops received it 10 occasions in 18 years.
Tumblr media

If there’s one factor we’ve realized from the tenures of Robust and Herman, it’s that Texas calls for a lot from its coach that this isn’t a job that provides coaching wheels. And which means if Texas desires to improve from Herman, the Longhorns should lure a sitting Energy 5 head coach. (The one coach corresponding to Meyer who’s presently sitting out is Bob Stoops, and it’s unlikely the person who constructed the trendy Oklahoma juggernaut would try and dedicate the subsequent decade to taking it down.)
Do you attempt to again up the Brinks truck for a longtime Energy 5 coach like Oregon’s Mario Cristobal, Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly, Penn State’s James Franklin, Minnesota’s P.J. Fleck or Northwestern’s Pat Fitzgerald? It is a notably fraught yr to rent a kind of coaches, as all however Franklin and Fleck can be taking part in significant video games on the weekend of Dec. 18, which is 2 days after Signing Day.
If Texas decides to maneuver on from Herman, wouldn’t it do it earlier than Signing Day on Dec. 16? It’d be nearly unimaginable to have a coach in place by then, which implies with a change you’re primarily giving up on having a aggressive recruiting class. (Texas is presently No. 17.) Or you need to both ignore or mislead recruits by letting them know Herman can be there. The clock is ticking for readability.
There are different choices. Would Matt Campbell leap down from Iowa State? It’s unsure, as he has all the time been projected as extra of a Midwestern match. What about Luke Fickell, who has introduced Cincinnati to historic highs? Might Texas rent three straight former City Meyer assistants? Might it inquire about Alabama OC Steve Sarkisian? If the Meyer mannequin hasn’t labored, maybe the Saban mannequin would? Might an NFL identify like Invoice O’Brien or Dan Quinn be an possibility? After Meyer, there’s actually no apparent reply.
To say Texas is certainly going to fireplace Herman is hyperbole. Nevertheless it’s a lot simpler to ascertain that situation than to attract up one with Herman returning, tip-toeing on skinny ice for all of 2021 because the face of the game’s sizzling seat. “That’s not for me to determine,” Herman mentioned postgame when he was requested whether or not he was the precise individual to guide Texas. “The place we now have this system in comparison with the place it was after we took over — the longer term could be very vivid. I really feel nice concerning the trajectory of our program.”
Whether or not Del Conte feels that means or not stays a thriller. And till there’s readability from him, Herman will stay squarely on the recent seat.
Texas is again, proper the place we bear in mind it. It’s again the place it has been a lot of the previous decade — in flux and with everybody within the sport speculating on who’ll be the subsequent coach.

Norm Macdonald Dies: Saturday Night Live Comedian Dead at 61 | TVLine
This might be the announcement that they sing about in Elton John song but not really sure I think it might be but it's close to it in other words I thought it was the New York times railing against God himself
Zues Hera
We do understand this confusion, so many were singing it as if it was to him and about him and it's not because of McDonald's called himself gods for a long time to everybody and here they are dying on TV in front of everyone a lot of people took it as a sign because the war started pretty much in front of their eyes today between corky and Mack in between the whole world and them because they're all going after their fleets because the foreigners don't have a fleet that does what theirs does their fleet cannot form a shield no so they need the ships and they're all fighting over them so it has begun and this death has signified the death of their God
The name is Norm meaning normal or Norm Campbell who look like Jesus who called himself God who is the son of God more or less actually the son of man but it's taken that way
Thor Freya
Still you think it's when New York starts taking a beating and the New York times puts it out there that the war started and they want to go after Venus thinking Hera is there and that's what's going on actually later on this is a precursor

Preview of My Next Project
This is a brief scene from my next project, which, at the time of writing, is now over 10k and looks to have developed a mind of its own. It's Skimmons/Bioquake, set in season three with one big change, and this scene takes place after Daisy has grumped to Mack about some of the issues she's having with a certain scruffly dude. 1249 words, rated G.
“Mack says you’ve been asking about why men are terrible again,” Fitz said when Daisy dropped onto the couch next to him. He held out the bowl of popcorn as an offering.
“You, Coulson, and him, you’re all excluded from that.”
“Good. Wouldn’t want you to think I’m terrible.”
“Never.” Daisy rested her head on his shoulder, which she knew he hated—or pretended to hate. Sometimes she and Jemma messed with him by using excessive amounts of affection, and he’d bat at them irritably. It was such a high school thing to do, but it wasn’t like any of them had had a normal experience there. They had to make up for lost time. “What’s on the cinematic menu tonight?”
“Even though it’s a Wednesday and not our typical Saturday?” Fitz stressed, as he generally liked to gripe about Thanksgiving and its set day. “We’re now considered off-duty, so we’ll be doing a double showing. Funny Face and Duck Soup.”
“What? Those aren’t horror movies.”
“Jemma’s joining us as soon as she’s off the phone with her parents.”
“After everything we’ve lived through, horror movies can’t be that scary for her. She should be able to deal! C’mon. Something with a lot of blood and some quality creepiness. You know you want to.”
Fitz definitely did look tempted. After a moment, he nodded but he gave her a sideways glance. “Fine by me, but it’s your bed she’s crawling into when she can’t sleep later, not mine. I’m locking my door. She’s a cover hog and maintenance still hasn’t fixed that draft in my room.”
“Acceptable losses,” Daisy said, sitting up. “Play the scary movie, Fitz.”
She’d already jumped three times—and had gotten into two arguments with Fitz about the plausibility of torture scenes—before she heard Jemma’s footsteps. Jemma tiptoed in, made a face as the viscera onscreen, and settled herself between them, collecting the popcorn bowl from Fitz. “You two are going to give yourselves nightmares,” she said.
“I’m not scared,” Fitz and Daisy said in unison, and Jemma shook her head at them.
As much as it delivered on the creepy front, the movie wasn’t one of their better selections, even though it made the three of them jump. When Fitz let out an involuntary “no!” at the main lady being menaced, Daisy and Jemma teased him merciless for his crush on her. He tried to return the favor, picking on them about drooling over the main dude in a shirtless scene, but Daisy and Jemma merely giggled.
“You two are the worst,” Fitz said in disgust, stealing the popcorn bowl from Jemma. “Should be ashamed of yourselves, you should, ogling him like a piece of meat. Of manflesh!”
“Clearly he takes the time to work out, and we’re…appreciating his hard work, aren’t we, Simmons?”
“It’s only right to acknowledge it, Fitz,” Jemma said, giving him a gigantic smile. “He works so hard.”
Fitz took a giant handful of popcorn and muttered something about bad influences. Daisy threw a kernel at him and pointed innocently at Jemma when he whipped about in indignation.
Hot men or not, though, the plot grew a little predictable for her and the jump scares became passé. Fitz continued to absently shovel popcorn into his mouth, absorbed in the film, but Daisy noticed that Jemma had begun to stare off into space, mind clearly somewhere else.
Daisy nudged her shoulder and gave her a questioning look. “What’s going on?”
“I told my mum and dad,” Jemma whispered, leaning away from Fitz.
“How’d they take it?”
“Shocked, I think. But happy for me. I pretended I was happy about it, for their sake.”
“Yikes,” Daisy said, as that sentence left a lot to unpack.
“It’s fine,” Jemma said. She forced a smile, leaning even closer to Daisy so that she was whispering directly in her ear. “They asked if it was Fitz’s. That was a bit awkward.”
“A bit?” Daisy asked a little too loudly, and Jemma shushed her. Daisy wrinkled her nose back at her and dropped back to the whisper. “Bet you feel better now that you told them, though.”
Jemma frowned, looking upward as she gave the matter some thought. “You’re right. I do feel better.”
“I always feel loads better when I break down and tell Coulson whatever I’ve been keeping from him. Last week, I—”
“I’m sorry, am I interrupting gossip night? I thought this was movie night,” Fitz said.
“Sorry, Fitz,” Jemma said.
“Yeah, sorry,” Daisy added.
On screen, the killer swung his machete. Entrails flew everywhere, inspiring Jemma to gasp “Oh good lord!” and hide her face in Daisy’s shoulder.
“Now that’s properly gruesome!” Fitz said, his eyes lighting up.
“You okay there, Simmons?” Daisy asked.
She didn’t move. “Let me know when it’s over.”
“The gross part? That’s over.”
“No, the movie. The whole thing.”
Daisy laughed and shifted to get more comfortable and to make it easier for Jemma to hide her face. From the squeaking sounds occasionally emerging from under her arm, she figured Jemma had to be peeking. They stayed that way for the rest of the movie, Fitz occasionally shushing them whenever they whispered to each other.
When the credits rolled, and the main character had successfully vanquished the killer at the cost of all of her friends’ lives, Daisy carefully sat up and extricated her arm from beneath Jemma. She tried to be nonchalant about getting the feeling to return.
“Can’t we watch a comedy?” Jemma asked, blinking owlishly as she sat up. “Ooh, a romantic comedy. Something with dancing.”
“Nothing black and white,” Daisy said.
“No Cary Grant,” Fitz said at the same time. He thought about it. “And no cats.”
After a good deal of bickering, mostly from Fitz, they found a movie in the archives that met all of their criteria. Fitz relinquished the popcorn and laid down on his part of the couch, resting his head in Jemma’s lap. He didn’t even complain when Daisy scrunched her fingers through his curls. The movie, however, did not get such consideration. “I’ve always wondered how everybody automatically knows the words to these songs,” he said as Gene Kelly and Donald O’Connor tapped their way through an elocution lesson.
“Oh, Fitz. It’s make-believe.”
“That doesn’t make me any less curious. Make-believe or not, it should be based on reality, shouldn’t it? You don’t see Daisy bursting into song randomly, with—with Coulson joining in!”
“No, but I would pay good money to,” Daisy said.
“I took two years of tap-dancing lessons as a kid,” Coulson said, making all three of them jump as he crossed behind the couch to collect a beer from the fridge. He settled on one of the overstuffed chairs and pointed his beer at the tap-dancing on screen. “I was not up to this level, however.”
“Maybe you should practice,” Daisy said. “I’ve heard dancing’s a good way to keep in shape for older people.”
Coulson smiled benignly at her. “I’ll take that under advisement.”
Boy was she going to pay for that crack later, Daisy could tell. But it was worth it, for the way she could feel Jemma giggling next to her. As the movie played on, other members of various teams drifted in and grabbed beers and snacks, settling on comfortable surfaces to watch Don Lockwood and Kathy Seldon fall in love.
It was, Daisy decided, a pretty good start to what was rapidly becoming her favorite holiday.

2016…WHY!!?!?!?!
I know this post is coming almost 5 months after 2017 started and actually after the 45th President of the United States has been inaugurated, but I finally had some time to look over what had happened to us and geeks everywhere during the year of 2016.
Truthfully, what the hell happened last year??  Was everything just prearranged that most of the people I either listened to or watched while I was growing up were going to pass away during the same 12 month period?  If you were living in a hole last year like a hermit, or if you just weren’t paying attention to the news at all, I just wanted to post a list of all of the wonderful people that we lost during 2016.

LYRICS:
Drop that mang, drop that Yeah doe For the 1-99-5 ha ha Last night Yeah doe Last night Something about the sky being overcast And the doja had me thinkin about times past Let me see, when was it all cool? April 15th, 1972 That's when Izza gave birth to me And life gave the whole damn Earth to me And everything was a struggle Coz life ain't nathan but a hustle I guess you could say I was raised on good rhymes Corned rows, collared greens and episodes of Good Times In the ghetto was the place to be for me My moms yellin coz I'm never where I'm supposed to be Out hanging with the big kids When I shoulda stayed home like the rest of the tricks did Coz an ass whuppin was vicious But nowadays playa thats the things that I miss Hanging out at the candy store after school Waiting on the route 5 bus trying to be cool Once in it's on to the back To get your clown on with the rest of the baby macks Guess it was then my love for music came about Coz Earth Wind and Fire was gettin much play at my house Take a blast to the past, right? The dank took me there last night           [Hook] [BG vocalist] Last night I lay in my bed (it don't quit y'all) I took a trip on the other side (it don't quit y'all) And I seen things I haven't seen (it don't quit y'all) In a very very long time Ah, ah, ah Saturday afternoon I'm on my way to the barbeque Don't act twelve because it's only 2 [?] Ain't seen most of my homies in ages Now they all married and run around with babies But it still feels real good Coz back in the day we used to run our neighborhood Snuck in the city pool Ran around like a gang of fools Lunch time, cut school Head straight to the mall where the game's played And I'd hook up with my crew at the arcade Leanin on the wall, broke, took my first smoke Of a Newport and I damn near choked My ganddaddy used to tell me about the old days Right before he passed away When everybody kept they doors unlocked And a neighborhood fight didn't mean getting shot Broke as hell but really didn't matter about Christmas time Coz they did what they had to to get me mine I knew right then I had to find a way to Get my money on coz I wanted to be a playa At night I used to sneak on the late creep Out my room window when mom and pops was asleep On my way to go kick it The days of a young G oh how I miss it Coming up was my daydream And to wear gold braids like my man on the A-Team I looked deep into my past life The dank took me there last night           It don't quit y'all (repeat through chorus) [Hook] Let's take a trip to the lake if you will Shine up the gold ones I got a little time to kill Hear the sounds of a dog bark And it brings back the memories of days in the South Park A few of the homies I grew up around Is in the ground Or locked down I guess that's why they don't come around But I'll never let it kill me Coz things are gonna get a little bit... (easier) feel me? Early on in the game we was struggling Rappin till I come up, full time hustling But things done changed around this way Lounge all day with some dank and Tangueray Let's hit the freeway homie Coz I just got my 350 tighted up an OB Hit 580 like we used to Back in '89 activators by the Juice Crew I keep in touch just as much as I age When I travel still reached by the beeps of my Skypager Take a look to the past, fight Yo Grimm we smoked about a quarter pound... [Mr Grimm] (last night, ha ha ha!)           It don't quit y'all (repeat until fade) [Hook until fade]

DEAN TV LOVE III: EPISODE 1⃣6⃣: DEAN TV 2⃣1⃣7⃣6⃣
Hello everybody and this is episode sixteen of Dean Tv love 3. Another episode with a yeehaw, seems like this week is great. I (Dean) discovered a website which is free, so you can put your own music  on for free. It is audio mack that is. I discovered it this week and I’ve just made a digital compilation Lp album of the Dean Tv love trilogy twenty sixteen to twenty eighteen. It is so very easy to use, so I might make digital Eps and Lps. In compilation mode collection. So lets start this episode as it takes place on Friday. Dean is his bedroom being so surprised about the DVD he brought. An anime film titled Dean Tv mecha, he wanted to watch the movie but he went to sleep. Dean started to dream that he is in the film but it is not animated. It is live action or should I say live adaptation. Dean playing as a descendant relative named Daniel Rodney who is or was trainee student in the Dean Tv mecha academy. Using flight and battle simulations to become a mecha pilot, he is twenty years old. He always dreamed of being a mecha pilot just like his dad. The movie take place on earth in the year twenty one seventy six, one hundred and fifty six years from now. The twenty year old Daniel went to the mecha building of where all the machines were made. The mechs that is, people are cleaning them etc. But one mech has not been touch since the twenty one sixties. Dan sees the machine. “I remember that mech” said Daniel. Some of the workers spot him inside the building. The people speak to him. “You always come here all the time” said one of them. “Yes my dad use to work here and that mech, he use to fly and control it” said Daniel. “Wait your dad?” asked one of them. “Yes and he use to be a pilot, he pilot that mecha over there” said Dan. “Yes I remember now, your dad was the one of the best pilots since the war a decade ago” said another one. Until Dan notice that his friend Angela spots him. Angela Reed who is also a descendant. (in the live adaptation she is portrayed by Louise) Dan started to get shocked about seeing his friend working for the people who built mecha robots. She started working since last year in twenty one seventy five. For one year while Dan is still in his training days but he’s finished and ready to be a real pilot. Angela takes Dan to see the person in charge of the team. Dan gives him pilot trained diploma. The leader remembers his father. “He was the hero of the Dean Tv mecha war ten years ago” he said. “Yes and now I have to fill in his shoes” said Dan. Angela smiles at him, Dan has done the pilot test. Then suddenly the invaders from Mars came to invade earth. Daniel uses his father’s mecha to fight the invaders who are piloting their mechas too. Dan flys in jet mode of the mecha, shooting down enemies. Flying across London and then transform into robot mode, fighting the invaders. The invaders are not aliens they are humans. Who invaded the earth since the war and now their mission is to get their revenge on earth and the hero who saved the earth. They see the mecha what Dan is using. Thinking its Dan’s dad but it isn’t.
All the other mechs on Dan’s side joins him. To fight the enemies. The enemies were gone. “Good now they are gone” said Dan. “Good job Dan” said Angela. The mechas returned back to base. Everyone are so happy that the invaders are gone.
“You are becoming an ace pilot like your father” Angela said to Dan. Then Dean wakes up from his dream by Louise. “Did you watch the movie?” she asked. “No but I was in it and so were you” said Dean. “What?, we are in it?” asked Louise. “Yes in live action” said Dean. “Wow nice dream” said Louise. Louise decided to watch with Dean in his room. On Saturday night.
