there are moments where atieno feels those ruptures more intensely. and they find themself resting against the side of a building - letting more, and more of their ominous darkness stretch out.

surely, they'll have to get back into a 'suitable' condition before someone actually sees them. but they needed that chance to fall down, to be so deeply inhuman that it might be horrifying.

[perhaps it ultimately is.]

it's in the middle of such motions that they hear some footsteps. that is enough to have them sharply, quickly reforming into the silhouette most 'mortals' might have seen in their travels.

it's only when they start to see his face that .. they tentatively speak.

"...how.. how long have you been looking there?"

They let out a sharp train whistle out of frustration. ("Yes my head is very real good sir and it's very frustrating not being able to communicate properly.") Their body was slouched over as they signed to the man in front of them. ("Either way I learned to live with it.") The sudden lull was interrupted with the quiet ticking of their clockhead. This was frankly embarrassing absolutely embarrassing.

((My absolute hottest take of anything ever is probably that I don't like Klapollo as a ship, despite LOVING Polly a lot as a character to the point where I have a tattoo of his horns.

While I agree Klavier 100% has a crush on Polly, I've just never seen it as reciprocated; and just see them as friends.

Obviously no hate or disrespect to the shippers though, I'm just not a fan myself.))

🌺 Admittedly while I do love the dynamic we have with her and Vash, part of me has wanted to experience Mukuro's more... well, assassin-y side somehow, either as a rivals who try to kill each other thing or even as allies in the same field. At the same time, a good few of her verses (main three that come to mind are original, Cabaret Hostess or Yakuza Heiress) would be interesting with Yakuza/RGG series muses I also have on the-devils-toybox.
