[ Forgive me for rambling, but I had something I want to bring up. I mention working on a P5 AU. I had thoughts of also making a Pokemon AU for years but I wasn't sure how to go about it.

But now, I think I might have an idea. I think Harmony would be a trainer in her mid-20's or so who also does beadwork to sell. It would be to help generate income when not battling and ties into her background. Most beadwork supplies like smaller looms, needles, and other materials like findings and glass seed beads are easy to carry. So, it would be a trade that won't be so cumbersome.

I debated on her also having means to making traditional medicines for people and pokemon. She would sell some but also leave items like that and excess remedies behind for anyone who might need them.

She would participate in battles and tournaments, but I also think that she views her pokemon as kind of like her fur/feather/scale/etc-kids. I guess poke-kids would be more appropriate.

So, she would be like: "Don't talk to me and my thirty-six poke-children." (I don't know if she would have that many. I just threw that number out there.)

It's something I'll need to work on but I might do it and reach out more. I just need to finish the P5 AU. I still got to do the HSR, Genshin AUs. Same for the long overdue Vampire Knight one. I just got to be a bit braver to get them together and ready to post. These AUs take a while because I try to share info in the form of a story instead of profile form.

Both approaches work well. I just want to help people get excited in interactions by showcasing some of my writing that's expected in threads and drabbles.

As always, I'm open to suggestions on these AUs on how to make them better.]

However, there is only one time when she will consider it: It's to gain immortality to be with her immortal lover or spouse. Be it they are gods, demigods, spirits, or vampires. She will take that sacrifice to stay by their side forever. ]

hc + 💍 for a jewelry-themed headcanon

Harmony loves jewelry! She won't admit it, but she likes them. It's juse she knows it can be expensive and won't expect anyone to spend hundreds or thousands on her. Handmade jewelry is one of her favorites, though. Supporting independent designers and small businsses are a big plus!

She always fell for the beadwork she grew up around and has some skill in it to make necklaces, bracelets, bolo tie clips and badge reels, and earrings. She's not an expert but she practices when she can and her skill is slowly improving.

One thing Harmony loves is giving others beaded jewelry as gifts. They are made by hand and has her heart in each piece. That's what makes the jewelry actual treasure.

She likes other kind of jewelry too like pieces made out of real gold, silver, platinum, and jewels. However, she is a bit picky on them. She is firmly against materials that are not ethically sourced and fair trade.

Blood diamonds are a major don't for her. I elaborated this on the "Diamonds are not a girl's best friend" headcanon which I reblogged for reference because I wrote it a long time ago. Though, it still applies and shows more on her preference of gems and jewels.

Headcanon: Diamonds are not a girl's best friend

Never give Harmony anything with diamonds unless it is guaranteed they are not blood diamonds. Ethical practices, sustainability, and fair trade are extremely important to her.

If you give her diamonds, they need to be ethical, or she will reject them. She wants nothing to do with anything that caused harm to others.

Besides, she likes other gems like turquoise, sapphire, aquamarine, amethyst, rose quartz, and other more common gems. The thing is they can't be from cruel methods.

Jewelry made by small businesses or Indigenous makers are preferred. Beadwork is one of Harmony's favorite type of jewelry. They're not like jewels, but the hard work and creativity put into the piece with beads are perfect to her. Someone putting their heart and soul into creating jewelry with beads is worth more than any diamond to her.

There is a saying: "Beads over diamonds."

Harmony is all for that.
