Had a really, really wonderful night tonight: dinner and a show (my school’s) with a co-worker turned friend and I am just so glad.

#I realized today that I never post the highs here. because when I am happy I am for once in my life too busy living in the moment haha #but wanted to record it here to balance out my weeping and wailing #there was just a lot of love and a sense of belonging in a community #and kind of realizing that a lot of the things I sowed in tears and frustrations and grayness #are yielding really beautiful and sweet rewards #especially in terms of work and teaching #or—-the community therein #even more so #it’s a Lot (positive)

#some shit #im making some brace liners out of old tights.. #i have some ive made out of old panty hose which have the benefit of cool (temperature) and thin. but the... #non benefit... drawback. of being. like. old cut up hose. fraying doesnt begin to cover it #so. tights. ive already chopped them up #they just need thumb hole and hemming #ideally. all raw edges hemmed #but doing a rolled hem. eh. if it can be called such in the state its in #on just the one thumb hole... monsterous #takes so long. bah. heming the top and bottom edge would be like #even more so #idk. i mean i like sewing ill probably do it eventually
