I've had it half-written for ages and I'm sick of sitting on it, so while it's not quite at the level I want it to be, I'm posting it anyway haha. looking for opinions on Disco Elysium skills! Discuss:

imo pretty much every skill is universal - empathy, composure, logic, these are skills most people have. the three that stand out to me as "not normal people skills" are Shivers (obviously), Esprit de Corps, and Visual Calculous.

the only truly wild thing about shivers is that sometimes it's the literal voice of the city - otherwise, it can be easily explained as a deep connection to one's home and "home turf," which I think normal people can have. opinions? would you replace it with something else for a different person?

esprit de corps is described as a connection to cop culture. in a normal person I figure this would be replaced with some sort of friendship skill: a connection to your friend group or maybe your family. opinions? what would you replace it with?

visual calculous... well, sexy as it is, I don't think an average guy needs the ability to reconstruct shattered windows. would a normal person have this ability? if so, what would they use it for? if not, what would you replace it with?
