Thank god we’ve got Yoshiki here, modern philosopher of our time, to drop this wisdom upon us. Surely this grand conclusion, which required a whole flashback to come to, will have an impact on how Yoshiki views death going forward- oh wait, lol what am I saying? Of course it’s not!

Every time Tokyo is brought up it’s almost always in reference to his intelligence #So learning more has always been Yoshiki’s solution to things. ALSO Yoshiki is actually obsessed w/ this research project #He thinks about it while he’s in class- while he’s studying outside of class- while his friends are all talking- #You can probably count on two hands the amount of times Yoshiki talks about smth other than the research project post volume 3 #It’s actually concerning #hikaru ga shinda natsu #the summer hikaru died #hgsn #hgsn spoilers #my hgsn shit #It doesn’t have to be because he’s becoming more like ‘hikaru’ #I’d just like for that plot point to come up again and be like a driving force for why Yoshiki acts the way he does #The actual reason will be nothing at all #And instead Yoshiki will revert back to normal when Maki eventually dies #Because Yoshiki is only capable of caring about people he knows the name of

i like crowpool as a narrative setpiece (less because of what it is and more because of what it sets up) and there's no issue if you are a fan, but i'm honestly confused by HOW many people are genuinely actively invested in it as a romance or make aus where it went well, because out of all the bland forbidden romances in warriors i think that is the one where they have the leeeast chemistry? and where the utter failure of it is the most interesting part?

giving Luz the same kinda shot composition here directly after finding out what happened to King and Eda (and telling Camila that she hasn’t changed her mind about returning back to Gravesfield after rescuing the two) while dressed as Azura (someone she admires) to when Philip arrived to the isles in search and rescue for Caleb (<- if getting there was accidentally or not does not matter) while dressed in his attire or at least clothes that resembles them, truly driving home the point of how similar the two of them are and how they really are just mirrors of the other

Okay I need a little feedback--I'm writing a "Steve was a lab kid AU" that is also a "Steve is Joyce Byer's biological son and went missing when he was a kid" and is also a "Eddie and Steve were childhood friends (before Steve went missing) AU"

(With a side of No-Stancy-side-plot-because-fucking-no-let-them-be-friends and Barb-lives)

Do I do this insane thing with an additional "Soulmate AU, soulmates can write on skin" plot. Because I was thinking of that kind of Soulmate AU earlier this week and-- Wouldn't it make sense that the lab doesn't allow the children to have any markers or pens to write on themselves because it's a top secret fucked up illegal experiment? I also think there's no way they'd teach the kids to read if that's the case.

And imagine that nobody has any idea what happened to young Steve, and then post-escape Steve tries writing to his soulmate for the first time in years and Eddie is like "holy fuck he's ALIVE??? I gotta find him!!!"

I don't know if I'll ever finish this fic or get it enough written to start posting it (I also have like three other ongoing AUs that I'm actively working on, but my brain is simmering with ideas that need physical form) so some feedback or someone to talk to about my projects would help a lot

#delete later #LMAO I JUST REMEMBERED IT #I rlly should have saved a reblog to drafts before deleting it #but basically it was along the lines of #a person who feels trapped in a situation may see a solution and just go for it- #-before trying to find other solutions. and most of the time that solution might not be an actually good one #I still feel like I’m wording that wrong though #the concept of stanley seeing the skip button as the only means to escape this ending #and not directly as a way to truly hurt the narrator #because stanley is the one trapped in that room/in the parable #and in times of feeling trapped you may reach for an option that feels like your only hope #or a solution that gives you back some sort of control #so I think the portrayal of the skip button and the zending kinda speak to this idea in an odd way #the feeling of being trapped and seeing a way out and going for that without thinking #though in the end this is me very heavily projecting my own stuff onto these endings #because I’ve been in that position before a few times and I know what it’s like #it doesn’t mean your bad for doing it but I think some people don’t understand it well #it is essentially just me explaining rash decisions in serious situations #yeah stanley should have waited with the narrator but in moments of uncertainty- #-people react in their own ways. idk shrugs I still don’t know if I’m making sense or not #maybe I’ll just keep it here in the tags lol
