I wanna hear all of your mbav headcannons, I've been writing ethan/rory fanfic and I wanna hear your headcannons on the show's lore

Oooo, thats so cool! Honestly a lot of my headcanons are Sarah and Erica related bc I'm obsessed with them, but here's some general lore ones I have:

- Whitechapel has loads of different statues around the town. Both big and small, and all of them were made to honor early protectors of the town. These statues have protection magic. They don't completely keep away supernatural beings (obviously), but they do protect the town and its people in small ways still. Especially during the night! This protection magic can be accessed further, but it's not that easy. Most of the magic isn't that strong anymore, but it's there. It will always be there (perhaps even some of it protects people from the truth and makes them forget the supernatural threats so they can live an easier life)

- most of the people living in Whitechapel have some amount of supernatural creature in their blood. If they themselves aren't like vampires or seers or werewolves, they absolutely have great relatives who were and who have passed these abilities down. For most of them, the powers have faded to the point where they're almost non-existent. But sometimes it still pops up, or if mixed with any other supernatural creature, it will affect that person differently. (I feel like that might not make sense, sorry. I mean like if someone with some seer blood becomes a vampire, they're mostly a vampire but they have some seer abilities active now, and their vampirism is slightly different than those without seer blood.)

- kinda similar to the previous point, but there are also so many more supernatural beings in Whitechapel than the gang know of. A lot of their teachers and classmates have supernatural abilities, they just don't use them for evil and don't show them off much. I think the town has a lot more good supernatural beings than evil ones

- Ethan's powers after s2 evolve a lot and he gets the ability to access people's minds and mess with what they think, hear or see. It freaks Ethan out and he doesn't use it often, but he does have this ability (I tried to once write a fic with an evil Ethan concept where his powers work like this. Don't remember how successful it was bc I'm too scared to reread it lmao)

I feel like I have more and maybe I've shared more before on here, but it's been a while since I've rewatched the show or movie and I can't think of any other ones at the top of my head. If I think of any more, I'll be sure to share them!!!

he used to hate pigeons because a pigeon one pooped on his favorite star wars school bag when he was 8

his favorite old school game is pacman

he loves star wars [canon], indiana jones and star trek

he doesn’t watch tv shows, he can't concentrate on them so he prefers movies – they take only an hour or two to watch rather than episodes.

his favorite cereals are cheerios – kid benny used to want them for lunch and dinner too sometimes.

he hates sports but he found that he's not the worst at tennis when he is actually trying.

not the biggest fan of vegetables

kinda wish the show bridged the gap between sarah’s friendship with rory and benny. we already know sarah and erica are good friends it’s establish within the first moments of meeting the characters. and we know she values ethan a lot to the point that she fully got turned just to save him. but i can’t really recall her and say benny doing things for each other in a similar way. like they joke and tease. we know they’re friends to some extent but we don’t really see how deeply it runs and the closest thing to it tends to center ethan anyways. even rory and erica had stuff going on without the others around. i wish we saw that with sarah and benny or her and rory. just to better see how they play off each other and what kind of friendship they have and how it differs from how they are with others/rest of the group ://

FAVORITE GAMES

Rory’s favorite game is Roblox, plays way too much lumber tycoon 2. Probably knows absolutely everything about quite a few games since the dude doesn’t need sleep.

Benny’s favorite game is Wizard101, he got into because he’s a spellmaster himself. Definitely has a membership.

Ethan’s favorite game is basically just whatever Benny is playing as long as it’s multiplayer but if he had to pick he would probably say Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild, mostly because of the graphics quality.

Sarah doesn’t usually play video games but for the sake of this post I’m gonna say her favorites would be Stardew valley and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. She would probably play them with Erica a lot since they have multiplayer mode.

Erica’s favorite game is The Sims 4 because she likes giving all of the townies makeovers because she wants to make everyone in her game hot. She probably can’t live without custom content, probably an alpha cc lover.

How long they spend gaming

Rory spends at least 5 hours every day on Roblox, he does have addiction, he will deny it. It’s surprising that he doesn’t get burnt out easily.

Benny tries to only spend a few hours on video games, ends up spending 8 hours on them by playing with Rory and Ethan, he will always be up for playing video games, doesn’t matter when you ask him, he will say yes.

Ethan will stay up as long as he can playing video games but he usually has to go to bed because of his parents making him. He doesn’t have a bed time during the summer though so he plays as much as he wants then.

Sarah only plays a few hours because she doesn’t want to “be a zombie to video games”. How lame 😒 /j

Erica will spend hours upon hours on the sims 4, she doesn’t need sleep anyways. Probably owns a sims 4 cc tumblr blog.

shay: uhhh,, s1e3 Friday Night Frights is my least favorite ep. roryxerica is my least fave ship (i just really like them as besties!!) but i dont actually h8 any ship (except for teacherxbenny in smells like trouble bc ew). my least favorite trope is everyone hating rory >:( i dont really have a least favorite character

sav: my least favorite episode is probably the pilot? mostly because there's not much ✨️flavor✨️ to it/the show yet. least favorite ship is probably rory x erica as well, i just don't really see it? them as besties tho,,, chef's kiss. and my least favorite trope is the way that all the characters are boiled down to just one thing (erica being the hot one, rory being the butt of the joke/the blame, etc. i want more depth!!!) and i like all of the characters the same amount :) no least favorites here

steff: I've already stated that I'm not a fan of S1E08 Double Negative/Jilly Putty (like what even is that title??) mainly because of the goofy af shenanigans that take place. But honestly I love this show too much to hate any of the episodes. Other than that, I also love Erica and Rory being besties who geek about fandoms with each other, not as romantic in any way. Summary: You boyfriend, Ethan’s birthday is coming up so you and Benny, your other boyfriend, are trying your very best to plan the best birthday surprise you can for him but there might just be one tiny detail you forgot about...

Ethan’s birthday was coming up and of course you and Benny had to go all out for your boyfriend! Even though you knew he wasn't one for big celebrations, you couldn't let the occasion slide! You were putting together a surprise party with the help of the entire friend group.

“Alright, so I talked with his mom and she said it’s ok and we can stay the night. She offered to cook for us but like…” Benny took a break, looking for the perfect way to describe how he felt but when he couldn’t find anything, he settled for an exasperated sigh. You couldn’t help but laugh at the drama

“You want pizza instead?”

“Of course!” you giggled at his antics, reaching over to kiss his lips

“I’ll talk to her. You’re too nice to refuse”

“You’re the best”

“Don’t I know it” you smirked at him

You and Benny were sitting on the floor of your bedroom, making lists of everything you needed to buy and possible presents you could get your boyfriend, but mostly eating popcorn and vibing to your father’s old records. With Benny, a simple task such as this one always took longer than it should have.

The day of Ethan’s birthday, both you and Benny pretended to be as busy as possible. Of course you wished him a happy birthday in the morning when you saw each other and told him you loved him but afterwards, you made as many excuses as possible. It wasn’t that you didn’t want to be with your boyfriend for his birthday, but both you and Benny were incredibly awful liars. If you were to spend every free moment you had with E,like you usually did, one of you was sure to crack.

During lunch break, you pretended you needed to study in the library, but instead you sneaked out with Benny in the parking lot

“I kinda feel bad” you confessed “It’s his birthday and we’ve obviously been avoiding him all day”

“It’s for the greater cause, babe! Just think of his face when he sees the epic birthday celebration we prepared for him tonight!” Benny was swaying his arms in the air to emphasise the grandeur of the night you had arranged

“I don’t know. We shouldn’t have to avoid him all day for a surprise later in the evening”

Benny grabbed you by both shoulders so you would look him in the eyes

“It’s ok. Ethan isn’t the type to get pissed about stuff like this. It’ll all be worth it” he looked at you with love and sympathy. It was impossible for you not to melt when he did that. You nodded in agreement and he leaned in to kiss your lips. You melted into his embrace and he held you into his arms

“It’s all good.” he whispered in your ear. You smiled to yourself and planted a sweet kiss on his neck, as a ‘thank you’.

The day went on as scheduled. You didn’t share any classes with Ethan and you made sure to leave school as quickly as possible to avoid running into him. You made your way home and took a shower, your outfit already prepared from yesterday. Texting Benny and Sarah to make sure they had the last few details under control and you were out the door, heading towards Ethan’s.

His dad opened the door for you.Him and Ethan’s mom were on their way out for the night, leaving you, Benny and Erica to order the pizza and wait for a sign of life from Sarah, who was out with Ethan, distracting him. Soon after your arrival at the Morgan household, you phone beeped with a text from Sarah, letting you know they were on their way home. Benny was spying out the window, while you were doing your last checks

“They’re here!” your boyfriend yelled from the living room

“What? Rory hasn’t arrived yet!”

“Well it’s too late now for that!”

Together with your boyfriend and best friend, you made your way to the door and as soon as Ethan cracked it open… “SURPRISE!” all of you, including Sarah screamed out loud. E looked at all of you and smiled

“Thank you guys, I really appreciate the effort but you are awful at keeping secrets” he said with a laugh, looking at you and Benny in particular

“What? You knew?” B said

“Rory told me” a couple of sighs felt the friend group as they realised their mistake

“Just wait until he gets here!” You joke, going in to hug your birthday boy and continue the celebration as planned.

It was late into the night when E dragged both you and Benny into his room, saying he had something he wanted to say.

“What’s up babe? Are you not enjoying the party?” Benny asked, afraid of what the answer might be

“No, no! It’s amazing! I just wanted to say thank you guys, it means so much that you went through all this trouble just for my birthday”

“We would do it again anytime!” You assured him with a bright smile. E giggled and pulled you into a hug, kissing the top of your head

“You are the best girlfriend in the world” he said, hugging you tight “And you” he continued, pulling Benny into a hug as well “Are the best boyfriend anyone could ever ask for” Benny leaned in to kiss his boyfriend before wrapping his arms around both of you

I haven't watched mbav in forever nor do I remember if this ever popped up but I keep thinking of the gang playing dnd like

benny agrees to DM a campaign for everyone, mostly just going off of a pre-written one

ethan HAS played a cleric before but benny reluctantly agrees "dude come on branch off a little".

It's not until their next oneshot/campaign that benny and sarah convince ethan to play another class. He goes for a celestial warlock to the disappointment of both of them

sarah plays a fighter and later tries a bard, which she likes better now that she knows dnd rules

rory picks a wizard because erica stole barbarian, he's surprisingly good at the spellcasting

erica almost gets out of playing but sarah convinces her, she has to bribe benny to put a vampire in the campaign though

erica actually loves it because she can be angry and do tons of damage. She ONLY picks fighter/paladin/monk classes from there on.

when ethan DMs a oneshot benny plays a not-very-strong elf wizard~paladin multiclass, on paper his character doesn't really work but benny just loves it and ethan let's him multiclass paladin anyway (definitely cause benny is basically playing himself)

sarah is the dice hoarder, she's got at least 50 sets and happily lends rory some when he forgets his at home or erica when she has to roll too many d10s

after years of playing, Jane joins as a powerful druid, everyone is scared how good she is at managing all her spells

Ethan and Benny were exhausted.

Taking care of Rory on a regular basis was tiring enough, but ever since he started dating Y/N, it was double the work.

You see, Y/N didn’t know about Rory being a vampire.

Not that Rory didn’t want to tell her. He was going to until all of his friends shot down the idea immediately. It would only put her in danger.

And, since that was the last thing Rory wanted, he relented and kept his mouth shut.

But being a vampire for a little over two years at that point, it was hard for Rory to conceal it from her. That was where Benny and Ethan came in.

It was mostly coming up with excuses and explanations for certain situations.

“Oh, Rory! You got something on my jacket! It kind of looks like-”

“Rory had ketchup on his fingers!”

“How are you not tired Rory? We stayed up talking until like three am.”

“He’s had a lot of caffeine.”

“Ugh, I’m too tired to go out tonight. Babe, can I grab a bite from you?”

“From me?”

“He means at your house! Like a normal- uh, well, like you would normally mean.”

There was also the fact that Rory could hardly stop himself from floating around you.

Whenever you’d kiss him, hug him, compliment him, call him a pet name, call his regular name, hold his hand, be around him in general, it all made Rory feel like his head was in the clouds and, as a vampire, it could be.

Ethan and Benny considered strapping a chain to his leg.

He also loved to make you happy so he used his super speed to that advantage.

Forgot your homework at home? Super-Rory to the rescue. Didn’t have time for breakfast? Rory steals you five donuts. Left a textbook in your locker? Its in his hands. Feeling a little sad one day? He has a bouquet of roses for you.

They thought you were getting suspicious at first, but if you hadn’t caught on by that point, they didn’t think you ever were going to (you were dating Rory, after all). But they didn’t stop trying to hide it.

He can’t come in your house without an invitation? Oh, he’s just really polite. He can climb through your window on the second story? He got really into parkour in middle school. Rory doesn’t wear glasses anymore? Contacts. Oh, you can’t find any contact cases or anything? Laser eye surgery.

"Rory, I seriously don't know how you've kept being a vampire from your parents. I'm running out of excuses for you."

Rory just simply shrugged. "It's easier to hide when my parents already find me extremely weird."

"Can't argue with that." Benny said.

"Seriously, though," Ethan said. "You're gonna have to control it around her or she's gonna find out."

“Morning, guys!” You said, practically bouncing up to Benny, Ethan, and Rory. “Morning Rorykins. What is someone gonna find out?”

"Er- uh- Benny!"

Benny looked at Ethan with wide eyes as you looked at him confused.

"Yeah, Benny's got a crush on Erica and he's not hiding it very well,"

You still seemed confused. "I didn't notice."

Benny laughed awkwardly, elbowing Ethan in the ribs. "Yeah, it's an- uh- recent revelation..."

You hummed at the new information and shrugged. "Well, okay. I gotta get to class. Just wanted to say good morning. Bye, Rorykins."

You kissed his cheek and Rory started floating as he watched you go. The boys wrestled him to the floor again.

"It's a good thing Y/N is almost as oblivious as you, Rory."

Your whole group of friends was staring similarly back at you.

Erica and Sarah were stood, fangs out, holding another vampire in their arms. Ethan and Benny were stood across from them, holy water guns in hand and Rory was sat on the other vampire's shoulders (fangs also out).

"Uh...hey, Y/N..."

Your mouth formed words but no sound came out as you tried to piece together the situation in front of you.

"So..." Rory began. "We're vampires..."

You let out a sigh. "Oh, finally!"

They all looked even more surprised if it was possible.

MBAV theory and ending

Hello everyone ! Here I am to discuss our beloved but too soon cancelled show : My Babysitters’s A vampire’s. Mostly its ending but not only. Damn you Disney for that cliffhanger...

Warning, it’s a really long post ! It’s around 2k words. I didn’t put it under a cut, but I can if asked. The first part (half ?) of this post is something about the MBAV universe, that I use to explain my theory about the ending. Then I will explain it, what happened and all with that, and they a small paragraph of what could have been the beggining of season 3. I’d be really happy if you guys read, and what do you think about it. So, here we go ! (Please forgive the typos)

Anyway, before talking about the ending I want to speak about the vampires and their so called “immortality”. Throughout all the show it was clearly stated that all vampires are immortal. Yet, we see a lot of them dying (killed by wooden stakes, holy water, special daggers, etc.). Sooo, are they really that immortal, or can they just live as long as possible until they’re killed ? The show doesn’t answer it, and we never saw a vampire that was killed coming back. (Except for Jesse, but his case is a bit special, with the Cubile Animus and all, so we’re not talking about it here). But ! The movie answers it, more specificly Sarah. Remember the scene when they are at Ethan’s house and they are attacked by the pizza guy, who happens to be a vampire sent by Jesse ? Yeah ? Cool, because it tells us an intersting thing. So, Sarah kills him with a wooden stake, and a bit later Ethan asks if he’s really dead. Sarah then answers, and I quote : “ Not...dead, no, just in some kinds of limbo for souls.”

Oh boy. So, it’s clear : when vampires are killed, they don’t die. Their souls go into a limbo. But first of all, what is a limbo, you may ask ? I’m going to answer as simply as I can. A limbo is something from the catholic theology. Well, not only, but in the case of the show, it’s in this sense; let’s not forget that vampires can’t approach someone who’s holding a christian cross or just making a cross with sticks or whatever (I’m almost totally sure we see it in MBAV, but correct me if I’m wrong on that). So, in catholic theology, the “Underworld” is composed in 4 parts : Hell as we know it (”Hell of the Damned”), the Purgatory, the Limbo of the Fathers and the Limbo of Infants. Here, we don’t care about the second limbo, because it is for children who weren’t baptized.  So the Limbo of the Fathers it is ! That’s still not very helpful to you, I know, but I’m getting to it. So, what is it ? It’s a place where the souls of those who have commited sins but died in the friendship of God (I’m quoting wikipedia here, ahem). So, bad people but that could still go to Heaven but only if Mr. Jesus Christ come to pardon them. But I may be going a bit too far for MBAV here. Let’s continue, shall we ? Vampires are by definition a sin, for the Religion. So, it’s clear they’re not going to Heaven. But, they are immortal beings, so it’s not as if they could go to hell anyway. However, the souls of the killed vampire have to go somewhere, so they go in the limbo. Why not the Purgatory ? I don’t really know, and my theories are not really useful in the point I’m trying to make here about MBAV. And I probably already digressed too much... but hey, a little culture never hurts.

So ! It could stop here : the souls of the killed vampires go into that limbo because they can’t go anywhere else, and it’s done. But Sarah’s sentence is not done ! Just after the limbo thing, she says : “But he won't be back here.” If she just said that the pizza vampire guy wouldn’t be back, it wouldn’t change anything, it would just emphasize that he’s dead. However, notice the “here” at the very end of the sentence. Just that little word changes the meaning ! He won’t be back here, but he will be back somewhere else. Then, we understand that vampires are really immortal ! First they are “killed”, their soul go into the limbo for an unknown time, and then they come back. As I just said, we don’t know how long their soul stay in the limbo. Sure, we never saw vampires come back on the show, but I think it’s just because it’s not in the plot. I would say it takes a few days for the soul to come back, maybe weeks but not more. Maybe it depends of the cause of death ? I don’t know. Remember that it’s just me founding out things out of just one line, I can only theorize what I don’t know.

Well, it’s great that we found that. But... what for ? Okay, we learned something but it doesn’t really apply to the MBAV story / plotline... Or does it ?

Now, I’m bringing on the table “The Date To End All Dates, Part 2″, aka the awful cliffhanger that we all hate deeply. That left us with SO many questions, and no answers. This post is now going to be about “what would have happened in season 3 episode 1 (and possibly 2 too) ?” Here’s a quick recall of how the episode ended : VP Stern, Ethan, Benny, Sarah and Jesse are at the Council and there is a big boom all over White Chapel. Anastasia, Erica and Rory are in what looks like the mountains, at least they’re not in White Chapel. Anastasia said she was waiting for the explosion to happen, and visibly just wanted to go far enough to not be in it with the remaining vampires (are Rory and Erica the two last of the Council that could make it with her ?). So, she knew what Stern wanted to do. What was his plan already ? Jesse tells us that the Council has a broadcast system, originally used to communicate with other covens, that Stern would use to spread the Lucifractor’s power all over White Chapel and thus, killing all vampires in town.  But, aren’t vampires immortal, able to come back and all, as we’ve seen before ? As you know it, the Lucifractor is designed especially to kill vampires definitely by “absorbing the dark energy that keep vampires alive”, to quote Jesse. We saw Stern use it on vampires, it “shoots” like a purple lightnight, and the vampire turns to dust. So, the explosion happened. What would be the most logical thing to happen after that cliffhanger, aka season 3 ep 1 ? Main theory would be that the Lucifractor worked, which implies Sarah and Jesse being dead, along with the other remaining White Chapel vampires in town (but not Anastasia, Rory and Erica, because they are “safe” far away). Benny, Ethan and Stern on the other hand would be alive, because the Lucifractor only kills vampires and doesn’t affect humans. But... is it really what happened ? Of course not.

First of all, it is a Disney Channel show. That cliffhanger was made in the optic of having a third season, to continue the story. The show would never have killed one of its main character, especially Sarah. Count it as an argument or not, it’s true.  Second of all, I bet the explosion that happened didn’t go the way Stern intended. The plan was just to broadcast the Lucifractor’s power, nothing more. But if you don’t remember, Ethan went into Stern’s mind just before the explosion. I won’t describe the entire scene, but basically Ethan tells Stern that he is just a human. That without the Lucifractor, he is totally powerless. Ethan emphasize the fact that Stern is nothing without the Lucifractor, in a cocky and clever way. And let’s not forget it’s Ethan, the “brain” one of the group. Yet he wasn’t panicking, he was confident in what he was doing, going into Stern’s mind. He had a plan. What next ? Ethan’s remarks kind of angered Stern and he tells Ethan “Stop saying that ! I can draw all the energy I need from this and then the power will be in me and I can get rid of this little bubble.” Ethan says a last thing that pushes Stern over the edge. Stern stops what he was doing (which is shooting Jesse and Sarah with the Lucifractor, who are okay just after that) and then, he takes the Lucifractor and makes the mistake. He takes the power for himself. He feels it, he says “I can feel the power, the deepest darkness. You’re such a fool, you’ll never stop me now !”. Then, still with confidence, Ethan tells the other to run, and the explosion happens.

I believe that Ethan’s plan worked. I believe he wanted Stern to take the Lucifractor’s power to himself. By dragging him down, saying he couldn’t handle it... and it worked ! Stern thought he could take it and be all powerful and everything. But... he’s still just a human. And a normal human can’t physically handle all that power, that darkness. The explosion wasn’t Stern broadcasting the Lucifractor’s power, it was him. Stern’s body couldn’t bare all that and, because of the Lucifrator, exploded. But, theeen, what if if it had the same effect, and still killed Sarah and Jesse ? To that I will answer that even if the explosion looked the same as it would if the plan worked (as Anastasia is probably thinking), it is probably way less powerful than if should have been. First because Stern was trying to take the power, the Lucifractor wasn’t in “attack mode” (I think ?). But mostly because Stern took the Lucifractor in his hands, therefore ending the “broadcast” thing. My two other arguments are that, well it’s still a Disney Channel show, and Ethan’s confidence. As I said, he pulled a very clever move. He probably remembered Jesse telling him that Stern’s great great grandfather was mostly hella greedy of power, more than willing to clean White Chapel from vampires. It’s still canon that Ethan has a crush on Sarah and that he cares deeply for her (as Grandma Weir says, more for her than anyone ! (Just because it’s canon doesn’t mean I agree with that, okay ? But that’s what it said, and I’m working with the canon)). So he definitely didn’t waste precious time running away if he didn’t have a smart plan that he knew would work.

Hey, I’m still not done ! God that’s a long post. But then... what happened to Jesse and Sarah ? Yes, I said that the explosion was less powerfull than intended, but it still happened. Remember the first part of this post ? That’s right. The limbo for souls. That’s where I believe Sarah and Jesse would have been in the beggining of season 3. Sure, they would be weak. But they wouldn’t be dead. Now, that’s just my theory coming. I don’t really have the canon help anymore at this point, so here’s what I think is the most logic thing that could have happened.

Boom. They explosion went all over White Chapel. Benny and Ethan are knocked off and wake up after a few hours, possibly at dawn. Because hey, that’s still an explostion. Ironically, Stern’s the one who turned into dust. His body really couldn’t handle that. Benny and Ethan are relived, Sarah’s body is still here and intact, yet unconscious next to Jesse’s. But even after hours, they don’t wake up. Benny and Ethan kinda panic, and go to Evelyn (grandma Weir). She has theories but isn’t an expert in vampires, so can’t really help. The plan is to find Anastasia, Rory and Erica. They believed the explosion went as planned and went away. As Anastasia said before, they’ll just wait until Stern dies of old age. (Erica and Rory want to go back to check on Sarah, but missy vampire child tells them she is dead, and with her mind control thing, they can’t do anything). But Sarah is not dead, at least that’s what Ethan says, but they could start to loose hope at some point, and the guys are on their way to find Anastasia, because if anyone knows something about what to do, it’s her (they also want to have their friends back). They find her, and here’s the what happens : Sarah (as well as Jesse) are stuck in the limbo. Normally, they would be able to “come back to life” by themselves, but the Lucifractor weakened them, therefore they can’t escape the limbo. At least, not alone. It’s up to the fang gang to go there and bring their friend back (and they hesitate, but bring back Jesse too). They go back to White Chapel, and season 3 continues.

Now, I’m done ! I really hope I didn’t annoy you guys with my long post. If you like my theory, I’d be very happy if you tell me, I might try to write it, as a real fanfiction more than just a paragraph. Please, tell me what you think about it !

Happy Halloween everyone!!! I hope you're all having a fun and spooky Halloween season. In honor of the day, here's my thoughts on what horror/halloween movies each of the mbav gang would like and why:

Ethan

Let's start with Ethan, who I think would mostly dislike horror as a whole and would generally be too scared to watch horror movies (though he would never admit it and pretend that none of them scare him, so people would think he's cool). He might be okay with some sci-fi horrors (Ethan would watch Alien at least once), but that's about it. As far non-horror Halloween movies, I feel like he'd like some of the animated ones, but would never admit it. Ethan would say he only watches them because Jane wants to.

Benny

I think Benny would enjoy some of the more over-the-top horror movies. I have the strong feeling his favourites would be Re-animator and maybe Evil Dead. Benny buys a necronomicon prop at some point. He is insane and tries the Latin chant from the movies to summon the deadites. It doesn't work, and Ethan stops him from trying again. Overall he enjoys some horror stuff, but isn't like a huge fan.

Rory

Rory loves horror! You cannot convince me otherwise. He loves all kinds of horror movies, but would probably like the horror comedies/fun horrors the most. Also I think Rory would enjoy the Child's Play series a lot. He'd constantly talk about his favourite movies to the others. Besides Child's Play, I think Rory would also love movies like The Faculty, Scream and Cabin in the Woods.

Erica

Obviously both Erica and Sarah are Dusk fans, and my personal headcanon is that Erica decides to check out some other movies that have vampires in them, which is how she ends up liking some horror. Eventually she'd get more into monster horror in general. So not just vampires, but other creatures too. Some of her favourites would be movies like Jennifer's Body, Ginger Snaps, The Lost Boys.

Sarah

Similar to Ethan, I don't think Sarah would be into the genre really. She'd probably watch a movie or two with Erica, but usually would avoid horror. Though Sarah wouldn't be as scared of horror movies as Ethan would, there definitely would be some concepts that scare her. She'd much prefer to watch a Halloween movie in any other genre.

Summary: Time’s running out, and Benny and the gang are stuck in a room of dead and alive animals in the home of the wicked witch Victoria Price. They need to get out and with that antidote, but how will they be able to achieve that goal?

The smell was starting to get on his nerves. The smell of animals using the bathroom and rotting. Benny couldn’t take much more in here, in a room filled with not only animals, but also his paralysed friends. He yanked at the chains violently, not caring how much it began to wear his shoulders and bruise his wrists and only caring about saving you. 

God, you were his only thought at the time. The fact that if he didn’t get out of there soon then you’d die began killing him on the inside. He wanted to think of a plan but at the same time he was so caught up in worrying about you, thinking about you. And, if even you fell into the woman’s trap, then there was a very low chance of him getting out.  He didn’t want to lose hope, he cared too much about you, he promised to protect you. But he was stuck, and all he managed to do was start to cry. 

When Benny started sobbing, he thought of the times that you started sobbing. You were so beautiful when you cried. The way your tears glowed and sparkled blue, and your face became red, and your lashes seemed to shine...he’d never get to see you again. That was when it really hit him. He was never going to see you again, all because he made a wrong move. If he knew this was how it was going to end, he wouldn’t have ever involved his friends. He only felt worse when he looked across their paralysed bodies, seeing an occasional twitch from each of them. 

That was when he spotted something he couldn’t believe. It was a small feather from one of the birds that’d long died, and it was just in reach from him across the floor. Why was this feather so important? Evelyn had told Benny that specific species of bird had poison in each one of it’s feathers, poison that can render a witch magic-less for an hour and could even make her unconscious for that time too. And another convenient thing? A witch would never own one of these birds unless she didn’t know of it’s powers, but because she thought it was beautiful. They weren’t sold to witches by witches, but rather caught from the wild and kept as pets. It was unfortunate that Price seemed to lose interest though, otherwise the bird would still be alive. That wasn’t Benny’s problem as of now though, his only thought was getting the feather, attracting Price, and somehow jabbing her with it.  He tried desperately to think of a spell from his book that could break the chains, but then he figured that that was too risky and could’ve ended in him breaking his arms instead. Then he remembered an enlargement spell, at least if he accidentally enlarged his arms, they’d break the chains and it’d wear off in time.

So, Benny moved one of his legs from a kneeling position to an outstretched one, and he caught the feather under his shoe, dragging it back so that he’d be able to grab it once the chains were off. Then he looked back slightly, and held the cuffs as best he could since they were round his wrists.

“..Fac quod teneat confractus....” He whispered, seeing a small glow of magic surround the chains that he was holding.

But instead of enlarging, the cuffs shook before they broke, creating a small echo in the room. He must’ve said the spell wrong, but how lucky was he that it turned out to be the right spell all along? Benny heard footsteps and almost panicked. But he managed to calm himself and quickly grab the feather before hiding his arms behind his back again, making it look as though he was still chained up.  That was when the door burst open, and surprise surprise, it was Victoria Price.

“Stop pulling your chains!! It’s annoying!!” She screamed, stomping up to the boy and grabbing him by the collar of his shirt roughly, “I’ll have you turned into the soup humans came from if you’re not careful.” This was it, this was perfect. Without thinking, Benny’s hand quickly swung around from behind his back and went in to stab Price in the neck. Unfortunately, she anticipated his move, and caught his wrist. He had screwed up again.

“I’m impressed that you were able to break those chains. But then again, I wouldn’t expect any less from a grade A spellcaster-”

DONG!!

Price’s eyes rolled into the back of her head as she fell into Benny. And behind her was...Rory holding a dog bowl? But how? He became even more bewildered when he saw Erica and Sarah helping Ethan up, who was still mostly paralysed. That was when he came to a realisation. Price must’ve used a paralysis hex that was designed for humans, which meant that it would only last half the time it was supposed to on his vampire friends. Benny quickly stabbed Price in the neck with the feather for safe measure before he pushed her off of him and stood up and immediately hugged Rory.

“God, thank you Rory.” He said to the slightly surprised blonde.  But Rory only smiled as he returned the sweet hug. “I’m just glad she didn’t end up turning you into soup.”

It was a sweet moment, especially since they’d been at each other’s throats ever since (Y/n) showed up. The two boys leaned back slightly, still holding each other’s arms and smiling at each other.

“Let’s save the princess, my friend.” Rory said, Benny smiling deeper as he nodded.

The two rushed to the unconscious body of Price and searched her pockets for the antidote. There was no sign of it, it wasn’t in any of her pockets. Then Benny realized something, and he cringed.

“Alright Rory, I’m about to do something really gross.” Benny mumbled, Rory’s face twisting into confusion and concern. “Wait, what do you mean?” He asked. Benny ignored him, and his fingers drew Price’s mouth open. “Da mihi intra praecordia,” He mumbled before slowly reaching into her mouth and down her throat. “Aw, Dude! What the heck!” Rory squealed in disgust as he cringed. The two girls who were on the other side of the room cringed too, and Ethan would’ve if he wasn’t still paralysed.  Benny hated the feeling, but the look on his face changed from disgust to relief when he was able to grasp the bottle and pull it out. And once he did, he looked at Rory, who looked beyond mortified.

“It’s an ability witches have, to store things in a compartment inside of them separate to their stomach,” He stood up and wiped his arm, “gross, but efficient.”

“Now c’mon, we really gotta get outta here. (Y/n) needs us.”

The five supernatural teens burst into the Weir house. Well, technically four since Ethan was being carried by Sarah, but that’s not the point. The point is that they had little time to save you, and they needed to be fast. 

When they all barreled into the living room, they saw you lying on the couch with Evelyn at your side. But the scene wasn’t normal. The room was noticeable much colder, so cold that when one of the teens breathed, you could see it. And then there was you. Your skin was almost completely covered in ice, and you were visibly shivering. Beside you, Evelyn was covered in a good layer of coats due to the cold you were bringing with your sickness, and in her hands was multiple bottles of potions she had been giving you to slow down and control the process. But obviously it wasn’t working, and she looked relieved when she saw the teens.

“Did you get the antidote?” The old woman asked frantically.

But Benny said nothing as he pulled the bottle out of his pocket and tore the cork off with his teeth, starting to approach you. He took the liquid into his mouth and leaned over you, tilting your head up by your chin even though it hurt him.

He pushed through the pain, and without another thought, pressed his lips to yours and allowed the antidote to fall into your mouth. It took him a small while to make sure you actually swallowed it, and some of the liquid even leaked out from the corner of your mouth. But once you did, Benny pulled away so he could look at you.  You began coughing as the ice on your skin melted and your skin began returning to it’s original color. It took you maybe half a minute to calm your breathing and to open your eyes. And when you did, you saw Benny leaning over you, looking right back. He looked different to when you last saw him. His skin was pale, and there were dark bags under his eyes indicating lack of sleep. His hand was rested against your cheek, and it felt so warm and loving. You instinctively wrapped your fingers around the hand that was holding your face.

“...Benny?” You almost asked in a soft groggy voice. And when you did, small tears began pooling up in his eyes as he smiled sweetly. “Welcome back, my dear.” He whispered. All you could think of doing was wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him into you for a sweet hug, and that’s what you did. He was slightly surprised at first, but soon fell against you tiredly and hugged you back. When the two of you hugged, the rest of the group all collapsed onto the floor in relief, finally being able to rest themselves from that awful mission.

It was all over, you were safe...for now.

“Now, you’re sure you don’t need anything else?”

This was at least the sixth time the boy had asked if you wanted anything before you went to sleep, and it wasn’t annoying, it was just he really didn’t need to worry so much now that you were feeling much better than you were before.

“I’m fine Benny, really. You don’t need to worry so much.” You reassured him from under your bed sheets, the boy sighing as he lifted the blanket and tucked you in properly.  “I’m sorry, I’m just still feeling a little uneasy from everything. I wanna make sure you’re really okay.” He confessed. “I am really okay, I promise.” You said as you sat up in your bed and grabbed his wrists so that he could sit down, “as for you, you don’t look so great. And these bruises, they’re no good.” You took your thumb into your mouth and bit down until you drew blood, and the smell of your blood filled the air. Benny was, however, used to it’s intense smell now, and didn’t end up breaking into a coughing fit. Carefully, you spread your blood over the bruises on his wrists from the handcuffs, and as it sunk into his skin, the bruises soon disappeared. Once you’d finished, you sucked on your thumb until the wound sealed back over and there was no trace of it ever being there. 

“Now,” You gently placed a hand on Benny’s shoulder, “Go get some sleep, you could use it.” The brunette smiled at you, before standing up and beginning to head out.  That was when you remembered something that Ethan had told you, and grinned like the devil.

“Oh, Benny. Aren’t you forgetting something?”

He turned around when you asked, staring at you like a moron as he tried to think of what he was forgetting. When he couldn’t figure it out, you pointed to your forehead, and his face flushed red.

He was gonna kill Ethan.

A/N: God, I am so sorry that I wasn’t able to get this out sooner! I had a lot of real life issues, including the fact that a boy I really liked lead me on hecking bad and i was really sad for a long time. But now that I’m in self isolation I’ve got all the time in the world to write and forget about that dumb boy. Stay tuned everyone!

I’d also appreciate it if you went and looked at my characters list and made requests based on the characters provided. I need something to take my mind off of the dude that broke my heart, so it’d really mean a lot to me :)

thinking about how in the last eps ethan was the one to get jesse for help and everyone was like Why Him but ethan really thought jesse would be useful enough to help them out..... maybe i’m forgetting a plot point but why did ethan trust him? if season three happened would it be ethan that thinks maybe jesse could change for the better? like i’m really interested in their character dynamic and how it would evolve after the final esp with what everyone else would think
