*I think the fact that they have the clerical aesthetics over the scientist getup makes it even funnier, but I get that they were doing possession/demonic entity horror, so their outfits and them trying to exorcise the Absolute Solver from Nori works for the theme. ;)
It also makes this line from Tessa's mom about Cyn more poignant. O_O
I think a lot about that scene where Angel's drink got spiked and like- he said he was very aware of the fact it was spiked, that that happened to him all the time but looking at the scene itself he seemed just- ready to take it? like he is not reaching for his gun or anything, he is just chilling there about to take the drink.
And like maybe he would take it and throw it at their faces and just shot them because theatrics but the fact that he was in a VERY bad mindscape and that after this comes the "If I end up broken, maybe I won't be his favorite toy anymore" line raises in me some....concerns about what would have happened if Husk wasn't there.
Im sorry but the writers did not show Ed cleaning things up after he shot Izzy as a parallel when he started cleaning up after Stede left him so people could still say that he was healing and actually fine in s1ep10
orym being the first one after the shard to tell ashton that he knows they have a soft heart and that he means well. and ashton being the one to tell the hells that orym is kind of weird and fucked up too. btw
[ID: A set of four gifs featuring the kwamis; Barkk the Dog kwami, Kaalki the Horse kwami, Orikko the Rooster kwami, Sass the Snake kwami, Daizzi the Pig kwami and Xuppu the Monkey kwami, talking back to the offscreen Gabriel Agreste when he berates Orikko.
In the first gif, Gabriel says, “So, you’re utterly useless!” and Orikko exclaims, “I won’t be talked to like this, sir!”. In the second gif, Barkk reprimands Gabriel, “Oh, very nicely done! You’ve offended him!”. Despite being offended, Orikko claims, “Not at all. I’m not offended!”.
In the third gif, Wayzz adds, “Are you proud of yourself?”, and Orikko, again, claims, “Really, I’m fine!”. In the fourth gif, the rest of the kwamis start yelling at Gabriel, “Meanie! Meanie! Meanie!”, and Orikko finally accepts that yes, he is offended.
amigo the devil, "hell and you" / aaron o'hanlon / terese marie mailhot / soap&skin, "me and the devil" / leonard cohen, "you want it darker" / franz kafka, "letters to milena" / tathève simonyan, "august" / richard siken, "the torn-up road"
because of the nature of his music and the imagery he uses (myth, death, nature being used to explore love and devotion explored in various forms, how his music sometimes moves between the twin poles of the celebratory and the dark) people talk about him as though he's some mythical elvin fairy king and its increasingly uncomfortable. not just because he's simply an artist drawn to particular themes (like literally any other artist) but also because a lot of his music is addressing and exploring v real historical and social issues. people fixating on him as "the bog man" is very reductive and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth because he's not silent on the politics in his music either.
Well, I think it's safe to say that unless Doll figured out how to clone herself, she's not coming back since Cyn ate her core, which I admittedly missed on my first watch. O_O Just horrifying and tragic that this happened. O_O
mahito and yuji’s animosity for each other and rivalry stem from their opposing ideals. whoever wins is the one who’s ideology wins; a point mahito pretty much explicitly states. although yuji does best mahito physically, yuji concedes defeat over their ideologies in the “i’m you” scene. he acknowledges the flaws of his own ways and accepts mahito’s belief as the reality. so while yuji did defeat mahito, mahito’s ideology won over yuji’s.
